A friend went there very sick today with swelling in stomach and leg, jaundice. She also has a large mass on her liver and is getting worse. Neither one of the hospitals will do anything except tell her she needs fluid drained and sent her home. I guess due to not having insurance, they sent her home to die. I will never use this hospital again nor will I let my family use it. Be careful when you take someone that is really sick to this hospital. They are about money and insurance.

Horrible service! From the minute I pulled up. I went to ask someone for a wheelchair for the person I was bringing in with breathing issues, chest pain,in pain crying . Told me to press the door bell outside , and it did not one came. The lady screening at the door said she gonna have to walk in. She said we and you can.just carry her in. Once inside the person waited in the waiting groom 5 hours without vitals taken. Everyone was rude, left her in the room crying 2 hours no help no service. Not even a blanket. Do not go here unless you have a death wish!

Really rude desk lady treated my wife bad an had a nasty attitude thru the whole process, doctors & nurses were decently nice but couldn’t get even get her checked out for ovarian cyst that had her in pain an her test results didn’t come back at all wasted 5 hours for nothing never coming back here again

The wait time at this hospital for the ER is terrible to say the least! I will NEVER come here again!

My wife liked the experience. They also accept VA insurance which is really nice.

Since Metroplex was taken over by Advent Health I have been so happy. They treat us well. The wait is shorter. The staff listens.

Place was great. Little slow getting me in but as soon as i was the service was great the staff was nice. They made me feel cared for 5 stars easy

My Dad was taken in by Ambulance and while we preferred Scott and White, we were told he had to go to Advent. I followed the Ambulance, arrive at the ER reception and am told they aren’t allowing visitors due to Covid so call this number. Was surprised as Scott and White ER allows me in once my dad has a room especially as I’m his care giver. I have sat on hold 2 times, this time just hit 20 mins and I’m still holding. My dad is NOT a safe way to get his medical information, which is why I continue to try and reach someone. It’s alarming that my dad is there, unable to provide medical details, but your staff is going to take his word and treat him when all his specialist Doctors and home health professionals would agree he is NOT a reliable source of information. I can assure you we will avoid Advent in the future.

Be mindful of these people you give your information to for services. They’re fraudulently billing you for doctors you’ve never seen or heard of. They can’t give you an itemized list of what services you got because the doctor never seen you. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. Be careful.

Honestly, I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews I read but we had amazing service while there and the staff was wonderful, friendly, supportive and informative. Very glad we went. Great service and felt very welcome.I would highly recommend this ER.

I went in with extreme dental pain on a Friday night. Worse pain ever in my life. They took my $950 copy and sent me home with no painkiller. They gave me 1 pill in the hospital and by morning it had worn off. What kind of a sadist runs this place.

Today I was not feeling good and I pass out and they think Im fake it. And 2 woman are very rude to me. And dont explain to me and I tell them I have autism and I cant hear them. And they around there eyes.

Yalllll need more employees. I’m at the back but, I have my sick child in my arms and it’s been almost two hours ! Sitting in the hospital with no help and no bed! What is y’all main focus in this hospital? Obviously not the patient

DO NOT GO HERE! RUN!!!!!When checking in for a 10 year old with a broken arm (obviously was outwardly in pain) I asked for a ball park estimate timeline to be triaged (seen) or how many people were in front of us....I was told they could not give me a time or the number of people in front of us (exact time I can see not wanting to give a number, but the number of people that is not a big request).....I understand medical folks have to be robotic in a way, but some compassion and basic information (how many people in front of us in line) is not to much to ask!We ended up leaving without being seen. GO TO EXPRESS ER in Harker Heights!!!!!!

8/4/17I went in around lunchtime today and was seen by a doctor within 30 minutes and they also took x-rays as well. The whole process took maybe 2 hours tops.They were very kind, efficient and I would go here again with my family if needed.

Do NOT go here. I was skeptical and decided to give this ER a shot. During my time here I had a panic attack in which my pulse shot up to 180 and they did NOTHING. Didnt even come in to check on me or why the monitor was going off. I even called them twice on the intercom. They came in 30! minutes later after it was already over. Glad I know how to get through panic attacks bc I cant imagine if something had actually been wrong with me!!

What a hell hole. Dont be sick or in pain (much less both) and try to go to this ER. They can not handle it. Youll be ignored except for the eye rolls. Washed up Sara Huckabee frownie face really needs to get her angry eyes back to the White House. Her bedside manner is way less to be desired. See you next Tuesday... Three trips here. Still hurting. Still sick. Encountered one friendly nurse and one decent doctor...If youre needing emergency service, you might as well drive to Temple.

Awful hospital. All employees are rude even the front desk person. She didnt even let me finish my symptoms before she cut me off to direct me to a seat in the waiting room. Then after being called back the doctor literally just yelled at my until I left. I barely said a few words Im unsure what about my symptoms were so agravating. I was on vacation and this was the icing on an already awful illness. The best part? The $600 bill I got for getting yelled at by the doctor. Yep, thats the ONLY service I received.

Ambulance staff spent time chit chatting about food while you are in distress. When we got to the ER they assume you are having an anxiety attack when you are having a medication reaction. Instead of going here you are better off just dying because they are too busy laughing at the nurses station and talking about anything but the patients needs.

The worst. My husband has been here for 7 hrs and still waiting to be seen. Other people that came after us got called back because they were less serious and could be seen quickly by a nurse. There is something definitely wrong. Dont come here if you have a real emergency.

This place has no bed side manner. The doctor was very impatient. My wife has an open surgery scar and its infected the doctor came in for maybe 20 seconds shoved his ungloved finger in the whole and than ran out of the room.Wow there finally concerned and directing people to contact the patient advocate. I believe a lot of people would agree. Its little to late for that. This place needs a complete over haul. Everyone should be fired and new staff should be brought in. Id be willing to drive to a different place to give this sh** hole time to get the act together.

Unfortunately I can’t rate this 0 stars because I would, I went in at 5am due to some terrible stomach pains , I ended up throwing up in the ER twice and when I was in my room the nurse said it’s not that painful, which is malpractice they also let me leave the ER in the same pain I went in with and she told me well go to your primary doctor, which I explained to her I’m here for a business trip and I can’t see my doctor now, in which she just shrugged. I spoke to a few locals who told me metroplex has a bad reputation around these parts so they rather take the longer drive to seton medical center it’s a bit of a drive but worth it. Needles to say I will be contacting my attorney once I’m back in San Francisco.

I have been to some very good, big name hospitals and this one beats them all in service and caring. Fast.

Wish I could rate this place 0 stars. My husband took my daughter up there at noon today. They just left at 7 pm WITHOUT BEING SEEN!!!! And was told it would be another 2-3 hours before they could see her. This is unacceptable!!!!

I had the best experince at Metroplex, everybody was caring for my needs and my new born baby,during the time I was there.From my doctor, my babys pediatrician, the nurses and my CNA .I highly recomend Metroplex !

My wife waited 3 hours with chest pains, then another 2 hours for lab work, then another 2 hours to get results for a 10 min conversation with the dr. This was in the evening, so im sure they only had one DR working. Worst of all, most of the ones in their waiting were all coughing all over the place. So made it even more worst. People was nice but man the wait was the killer..

Disgusting staff!! My dad just called the ambulance , hes in excruciating pain! And in crutches...the er paramedics were rude abd insensitive. He gets to the hospital and tries to beep for a nurse ...no one answers for 20 minutes. My mom call and the e.r. nurse on duty now ...yells at my mom and says there getting his medicine and theyll go see them when theyre done instead of someone coming in to see how hes doing. He had to call us and us call the hospital to get assistance and he still havent got anyone . the e.r. nurse proceeds to talk rude to me and my mother on the phone. Theyre asking if he can get a ride before they treat him like theyre trying to already release him before they even treat him. Then theyre saying theyre just gonna give him medicine and send him home instead of finding out what the problem is. IF YOURE ABLE PLEASE FIND ANOTHER HOSPITAL THE STAFF IS RUDE AND INSENSITIVE!

Best hospital ever especially if you got tri care they take care of you!

The er staff was terrible my wife has a seizure. Disorder the nurse accused her of. Bieng a drug addict wanting a fix then tried to force her to take all of her clothes off. Ive taken her many times to s&w in Temple and never had such a ride and disrespectful bunch. This er needs to be shut down and license of all the nursing staff need to be terminated

I had an amazing nurse who went out of her way to help me with info on finding a dr and talking to me while I cried about how I was treated by the dr I saw in the er. He was awful and rude and made me feel like I was pure garbage because I have general anxiety disorder and PTSD and am on a certain medicine for it. He was in there all of 5 mins and the way he talked to me was wrong.

I will never go back to this place again. I have never been treated like this. Dont go to this place youre just wasting your time they wont do anything for you.

This is the worst hospital I have ever seen and been to, slow drs and process, and when they do evaluate u they dont care just do a quick one to just to get u out, messed up my social so I started to get billed for another patient that was in there, very unprofessional, wife is preg also and went in for a issue she was concerned about it , did nothing basically said ur ok tough it out she , went to Darnell and they found something was really wrong and were fixing it asap, just so much run around with them , I do not recommend this hospital , plus me calling in anger and said a swear word just hung up on me prior to that wife called a while ago with an issue and they hung up again , DO NOT GO HERE , u will get far better treatment somewhere else

Have had to come here multiple times but today was the worst. 6 hours plus for a total of maybe 30 to 45 minutes of actual talking to a nurse/doctor. All of that just to have the doctor not even come in the room but tell me the diagnosis right outside the door and leave. Unless you got some serious time to kill I dont recommend coming to this emergency room.

This has been the WORST experience of my life!!!!!!! It is past 6am, and I have been here since 1:30am!!!! What the hell is wrong with this place??? NO one has seen nor TOUCH my leg at all!!!!!!!! I am definitely reporting this place, this is a death trap.... Its terrible!!!

I came to this hospital on fathers day for my daughter 6/17/2018 I wasnt even there for an hour nurse called us back then the doctor came and told me basically what I already knew what was wrong and we left . Super friendly staff / doctor ! Im not from here Im from NC Im visiting .

Come in with terrible pain and had 5 people who arrived after me get in before me. Terrible service.

It took 3 hrs to just get Vidal signs. They need more staff especially for being an emergency room. So if you are real sick you need to go to one of those urgent care.

Dont take anyone you care about here.....ever. Wait time is ridiculous (with only 3 people waiting) staff is rude, and dont keep their opinions quiet while laughing at the desk. Physical assault by the staff is also possible.

I brought my uncle in with a ruptured appendix, after crying in pain for 30 minutes he eventually passed out in the waiting room. I literally begged the people at the front desk for help and ended up putting him in a wheelchair and wheeling him back out to the truck by myself and took him to Seton where they performed an emergency surgery on him. Please dont bring yourself or someone you care for here.

Called for info concerning my mom being suicidal and being released after only 1hr, all I received was attitude. Was put on hold then hung up on. Very disappointed, and worried.

I was waiting in an internal waiting room because I had an iv in well a doctor came in my room talked to me and told me she was getting me medicine and that I needed to do a urine sample I sat in the room for what seemed like forever never did see anyone and then I had to go and get someone before I got answers a rude nurse comes in an tells me that the doctor seen me out of turn and that I’d have to wait hours before I’d get to see her again I left needless to say I’m 21 weeks pregnant in terrible pain and angry don’t go here
