My husband are down on vacation and his temp partial broke. We thought we would have to make a long day of finding someone to glue it in until we get home next week but key west dental saved the day! They got us right in first thing and my husband was back to our camper in 30 minutes. I highly recommend!

My husband and I have been going to Dr Ong approximately 15+ years. He always takes us right away for emergencies. He is up to date regarding all new techniques. He seems to enjoy his job. We get our teeth cleaned twice a year and have always been pleased with the hygentis they employ. But the best part of our visits are seeing Ellie. She knows all aspects of Dr Ongs business and always meets us with a smile and caring.PS the new receptionist is going to fit right in...she followed up with a concern I had. Thanks.

Great dentist

Went in for emergency evaluation of broken crown. Dr Ong worked very confidently and did a superb job of replacement.The whole procedure took less than two hours, including fabricating a new crown in the office. The thing I liked the best about the Dr was that he took the time to figure out why the previous crown broke, and made adjustments to minimize chance of recurrence with the replacement. Its now the best fitting tooth in my mouth.I liked his staff as well and hope to have all future dental work done here.

My visit went smoothly. The staff there did a fantastic job, they are very professional and friendly.

I was down in Key West and I cracked a tooth down into the root... Dr Ong took me Monday Immediately because it was an extreme emergency... his staff was wonderful and the doctor extracted my tooth that had absessed quickly... it was a surgical extraction with stitches... Dr. Ong was so gentle that I had no swelling at all and I was feeling back to normal one day later... I was grateful for him taking me so quickly... we split our time between Buffalo, NY and Key West... we highly recommend the Doctor and he will now be our dentist when we are here!

Im from West Virginia and had used Dr. Ongs service before. He saw me after a short notice phone call and outlined a dental plan in a brief time. He was honest and I appreciate his support and quality work from 2 years ago. The staff was outstanding.

Walk into this office and you immediately realize its an ultra-contemporary class A operation. Sparkling-clean procedure rooms, gleaming equipment, patient video and uniformed staff. Dr. Ong is clearly top-notch competency not only in current technical dentistry, but also personable and patient-centered. If youve never experienced the benefit of having a crown measured, made and fitted all in one short visit, be prepared to be impressed with his 3-D printing technology. Lastly, but not of lesser importance, the dental assistant/technician makes teeth-cleaning almost enjoyable.

Excellent service is what youll find here. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hygienist is very thorough and has the lightest touch, it is like an angel is cleaning your teeth! Im very happy with the work the dentist has done for me as well. He takes his time and does it right.

Key west dental saw me immediately for an urgently needed appointed even though i had never been there before. They relieved my pain which was excruciating and fixed the problem. They were thorough and kind. Always explained what they were going to do and best of all Painless!!!! Cannot recommend them enough.

Wow! Was told by previous dentist that I had a cavity under my crown and would need to have an expensive procedure. With the high image X-rays Dr Ong told me that there wasn’t anything wrong and didn’t need the work. He made suggestions on how I could cosmetically improve my teeth. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for dental care!

This dental services providers office is an state of the art place. Dr Ong is very knowledgeable and does great reconstructive work. His hygienist is superior, very accommodating, professional and has such a soft touch. I moved to Miami and still commute to KW to get my dental care with this provider.

Key West Dental Associates are true professionals with the highest respect for their patients and state-of-the-art equipment. To find such a wonderful group of experts in paradise is indeed rare but Dr. Ong and his staff are the exception. My husband and I no longer dread going to the dentist and our anxieties have been replace with utter delight at the prospect of our appointments. Everyone is extremely nice and patient and the fees are extremely reasonable. There is no other place to seek dental care in the Florida Keys - a wonderful group and we couldnt be happier. Dr. Ong and his team have been taking care of my teeth for a while and last month I needed their help with an old bridge that was failing. I was seen immediately and all treatment was virtually painless and exacting. I absolutely love my new smile. Dr. Ong pays attention to aesthetics and I have a new set of teeth that are a perfect fit and perfectly matched to the surrounding teeth. Im very happy with the entire experience.

These guys seem pretty awesome. I called them with a request for an emergency appointment because I broke two of my molars and one crown on one. I got in the same day I called and they helped me with the tooth and the pain. Recommended a great dr for a root canal which went smoothly. Scheduled to get two crowns with them next month. Lets see how it goes. So far so good.

I have had the good fortune of having Dr. James Ong as my dentist in Key West for 13 years. He has done root canals, crowns, an implant, fixed broken teeth. Last week I broke a front tooth. Dr. Ong was nice enough to work thru his lunch hour to help me out. He was able to create a new crown for me in that single visit. I could not have been happier. My wife and I trust his work and agree he is an excellent dentist. His staff is very friendly and professional. We highly recommend!

AWESOME! The time to get in as a new patient was short, the office staff was very nice, and I actually got to see the dentist as well as the hygienist! I have had some dentition problems historically, but the dentist did not yell at me about them.

I had what I thought was a dental emergency. Called at 1 and was in by 2. Turned out to be a sinus infection, but the dentist was very kind and helpful. Prescribed some antibiotics and I am recovering.

Dr. Ong is a good dentist with a loyal and helpful staff. Their use of the 3D printer makes caps and crowns easy.

Good experience as I have been going to Dr. Ong for years now i would recommend him to anyone who is in need of dental care.

I’m a single mother, where I go, my six-year old son usually accompanies me. Today, he sat in the chair designated by the hygienist, entertaining himself on his phone. After waiting for 1 hour 45 minutes for Ong and his disorganized staff, Ong proceeded to numb me. I’m accustomed to my amazing dentist Claude Harris, shaking my lip as he inserts the needle, distracting from the pinch. This guy Ong just jabbed the needle in causing me to jump and my eyes to start watering. My son who is now quietly, but intently watching asks, “Why are you crying mommy? Did that hurt?” To which I respond, “Yes, it did hurt. I’m not crying though, my eyes are just watery. It’s ok. ” Appreciating his new vantage point at the dentist office he asks, “ What are they doing now?” eyeing the separators being brought out. Ong scoffs, “This isn’t show and tell. So you’re not going to be asking all of these questions. If you’re going to be in the room then you be quiet.” He proceeds to shove the separators in my mouth before I have a chance to respond to his inappropriate tone with my six year old child. My son quickly obeying, sits back and remains silent until my tooth is filled. Ong then simply walks away-not a thank you or you’re all done to be heard. I kneel in front of my son and remind him that he can and should always ask questions, regardless of who says not to, because as a six year old that is how he learns. Had Ong not left so abruptly I would have told him I disapprove of his message and antics. Clearly hearing my words to my son he walks back and glares at me. 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾As a new patient to this office I will NEVER RETURN here. This guy’s lack of professionalism and courtesy, especially when dealing with a child is reprehensible. With pictures of his own son Felix plastered around the office, one would think he would be better behaved with his patient’s children, considering his patient’s probably adore their own offspring just as much. The receptionist did not have change for a $50 and I refused to leave with a balance because I want nothing else to do with this office. She then “offered me a discount.” (I don’t need your favors, I have the full amount, you’re making provisions due to your own failure to get and maintain an adequate cash drawer) I don’t say this and in spite of my anger still manage a “Thank you” when she hands the receipt over. I receive a slang response of “You good.” My look must’ve conveyed my annoyance because she then corrected and said, “You’re welcome.”My phone keeps defaulting his name from Ong to OMG and that’s exactly my sentiments leaving this office- OMG, reading the previous review and with my own experience how does this guy even have repeat clientele?
