Dr. Savaglio’s office is the absolute best all around. The doctor is friendly, funny and extremely smart. He takes his time with his patients to fully explain what he is doing/what he sees in his testing. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly! They go above and beyond to check in on their patients. This office has the best gifts for kiddos after an eye exam. NO PUFFS OF AIR IN YOUR EYE and advanced technology so no need to have your eyes dilated. Great selection of glasses/contacts. I would recommend this eye doctor to everyone!

Myself and my family have seen Dr. Savaglio over the last few years. He is knowledgeable and he has helped us out in a variety of different ways. (Go read his reply to my wifes recent review for details as to how, and Im sure its not all inclusive) Recently my wife had an experience with Dr. Savaglio and our 4 year old son. She wrote a review, I believe its under Katie S. and Dr. Savaglio replied. We thought it best to leave it alone, however, I just cant. Today, when I left work I called my wife who was leaving from a different eye doctor with our same son. First thing my son says to me Daddy, I didnt make the doctor angry and he didnt hurt me. So needless to say my heart is broken and well as my wifes.Had Dr. Savaglio handled himself differently with the appointment or responding to my wifes review I suppose I wouldve left this private, but I share this so that Dr. Savaglio can hopefully understand that his understanding and use of discipline doesnt work. You are trying to use fear to achieve compliance. In your 21 years of experience that may have worked for you plenty of times, but in this case you crossed a line and you know you did. To respond to my wifes review with all the favors that you did for us a means to tip the scales in your favor or a means of justifying your behavior is poor. You have been kind to us and have helped us out, but dont think then that you can use it to justify a mistake later on down the road. Please reconsider how you choose to handle children that are not compliant. In the mean time, parents, watch out and if you dont like what you see bring it up or leave and find another eye doctor.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!My 4 year old had an appointment, as part of their intake they have you look into a machine to get, what I guess, is a clear picture of your eye. My 4 year old was trying however it is hard for a child to sit still as a statue, look into a machine and focus on one small picture. The tech and I made several attempts with not much success. The Dr, Dr. Dave as he calls himself, came in and told my child he was going to hold his head up against the machine and if he moved he would hold his head harder and it would hurt! I should have left then...within seconds my child wiggled out of his hand, told me his neck hurt and told the Dr to stop hurting him. The Dr became very angry with him, told my child he would do what he told him, this was not a game and he did not play games in his office.Who treats a child like this? Tells them he will inflict pain if they move, then when the child speaks up for themselves tries to scare them even more. This man SHOULD NOT be seeing children! That is not how you handle a young child who is already scared/nervous about the situation they are in!

Thank you so much for the care you have given me! Finally have someone get my prescription and lens/eyeglass frame measurements correct for progressive lenses since Sears closed. Tried 3 different places since then and it hasn’t been the same until I went to Savaglio. Now I love my progressives again! My service dog and I thank you!😉

I have been going to Dr. Savaglio and his team since his practice opened, and there is no one who I would trust more. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Each visit, the staff is always professional and very friendly. The establishment makes you feel like family and highly recommend.

At first I was pleased when I went to them for the VERY first time in Feb. 2021. I was going for contacts. They made me pay up front for the contacts. But failed to inform me that all sales were final it is now 2 MONTHS after my appt. I still do not have contacts as my work schedule and their hours of operation do not collide. I asked for a refund as I am no longer interested in contacts as it isnt worth the headache for me. As I only need contacts in ONE eye ONLY! But they refused to offer me a refund but also FAILED to inform me prior to purchasing that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If I would have known this I would not have paid up front for contacts as I have NEVER done this at any other eye doctor in the past. I will NEVER go back to this eye Dr. because they did not handle this well with me. I do not recommend this place as they should be up front with NEW PATIENTS! They offered a credit on my account but my husband as already had an appt. since and will not be going for another year. So, no matter what I lose. I initially went to them as they were highly recommended from people on Facebook. But I will continue to use Thomas Eye Care. They have always been great to us!

We had previously been going to a chain store for my daughters eye exam/glasses and were content. That store shut down, then reopened as a stand-alone store. They not only no longer accepted our insurance, but the staff was completely rude. Not wanting to wait for an appointment, I paid for the eye exam out of pocket and decided we would purchase glasses from an in-network provider. A friend recommended Savaglio, and I am so glad they did! I felt a bit weird just going there to buy glasses, but everyone at Savaglio was so kind and helped my daughter find the perfect glasses for her. Even though we were previously content at the chain store (before reopening), the difference is significant when comparing them to Savaglio. The staff at Savaglio are welcoming, knowledgeable- you can tell everyone there is committed to giving you amazing and quality customer service. Thank you Savaglio staff!

I trusted Dr. Savaglio at Savaglio Family Vision in Kenosha, WI to provide me with a pair of glasses that would help me see properly. The glasses/lenses this business provided me did NOT help me see properly. I return to their office after the recommended 2 weeks adjustment period and explained that I was still having trouble seeing clearly and they adjusted my frames. I returned again, after another 2 weeks and explained I still could not see clearly. I did ask for a refund, as I was assured that I could return the glasses if they didnt work for me. I was told by their very snotty office manager that all sales were final and the only thing they could do is remake the lenses to my old prescription, which would be useless to me.I went to another Vision Clinic in Kenosha, who checked the lenses I received from Savaglio Family Vision against the written prescription Savaglio Family Vision gave me and I was informed the two did not match. My husband contacted Savaglio Family Vision with this information and they told him that it was my basically my fault because I was difficult during the exam, (which is a blatant lie) and I should have asked them to remake the lenses based on my “second opinion”. Nice back paddling. HORRIBLE customer service! Wow now this horrible business is lying on its response to my very honest review. Disgusting!

Worst place ever and over priced. Our first visit there we watched the owner yell at his employees in front of us. Then we had to go back for a contact “class” were the lady set in front of my daughter for over an hour telling her “your almost there sweetie” with no actual advise to get the contact in her eye, for them to tell us to come back again. I asked the guy to refund on the portion for the contact and just charge us for the eye glass exam which he refused. You will get better service at Wal-Mart. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! If you don’t buy there contact or glasses there attitude gets very disgruntled towards you. Would rate them below zero but that’s not allowed.

I have been seeing a variety of eye doctors since I was 2 years old, and this was easily the best experience I’ve ever had. Providing excellent, accessible patient education is a rare skill that Dr. Savaglio has mastered. Prices were excellent- less than my last place but better service in every way.

Wow! That was by far the best experience at a doctor’s office that I have had ever. It was my sons first appointment (he is 2 years old) and from the second I walked in I was greeted with smiles. The woman who helped with the pictures of my son’s eyes was so patient and kind to him. Then Dr. Savaglio came to get us and he was so nice. SO nice. He was funny, informative, patient and kind. After the appointment my son got to pick a special item from the treasure chest and he walked out with an entire art kit. I was so happy when I left today and I am looking forward to having my entire family return.

Hands down the best eye care place in town! I’ve been coming here for years and have NEVER had a bad experience! The staff have always been very helpful, they treat me like family, and Dave is a great doctor!

Dr. David and his entire staff are just fantastic. David gave me the most thorough eye exam Ive ever had, explained everything he was doing and also helped educated me about my vision. I had a virus in my eye and David helped me understand what to do and not to do. His staff checked up on me while the virus ran its course and finally cleared up. I knew I could call at any time if I needed something and theyd get me right in.The ladies that work for him are fun, caring and also really know what they are talking about. They were patient with me while I tried on several styles of glasses, gave me their opinions and also pros and cons of each. The follow-up is top-notch. They want to make sure you are happy and doing well with your glasses long after you leave the office. This is truly a family vision center. You really do become part of the Savaglio family!

My son had an eye injury a few years back. He lost his the vision in his right eye and needs another surgery when he gets older. He was fitted for a contact but was still complaining he couldn’t see. We went to Dr Savaglio and he spent so much time with us it was unbelievable. He did tests and examined my sons eye. Took the time to really get to know us. He researched and ordered him a new contact. His vision could be the best ever. My son and I walked out of the office with tears of joy. Dr Savaglio showed he cares and really wants the best for his patients. Thank you Dr Savaglio. You made my son happy and smile that he will be able to see again.

Making an appointment was easy, the office staff was great, they were all very nice and polite and my eye exam with Dave went great as well, he was very informative and gave me options... theyre really on it! I was so impressed by this office. Before my appointment, I had called to ask a question and they were closed, I didnt leave a message, but they returned by call and had already found my insurance information to answer my questions. Dr. Dave shared his vast knowledge and made me feel very comfortable during the exam and the girls helped me to find a frame that fit my face. Beyond excellent customer service!

My family and Daves go back some and at my parents recommendation after I got home from the Army, I decided to go there for an eye exam that was quite overdue. Years later, I can only echo my enjoyment and praises in going there, Dave and his staff always make it far more than just an appointment. Its a learning experience and my day is always made better by going there. Theyre wonderful people, to say that you merely should go here for your eye care is to understate. Theyre the best in the business, melding a clean and organized workplace, state-of-the-art equipment, efficient and knowledgeable staff, and a very folksy family feel. Ive been seeing Dr. Dave since he worked at Sears when I was a 6 year old, and hes the best. Great with kids, 19 year olds, and also my mother! Everyone who works there is so sweet and helpful, and Dave explains everything well and hes always been patient when Im indecisive. Support a very homey family business!👓

This is by far the best place in town to go to get your eye exam done. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and calm. Dave has a very efficient system for your exams that get you in and out in no time!

I suffer from light sensitivity and migraines after the TBI I got while in Iraq. They treated me very well and got me the lenses I needed. The red tinted lenses are a god send. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
