I can’t thank Jessica enough for the absolute amazing massage. My lower back, neck, and foot were so sore. By the time I left her office I was pain free and felt so good! I had foot surgery 2 years ago and haven’t been able to bend my big toe. She worked her magic and now my big toe can bend!! She is super friendly, very professional, caring and all around just an amazing person and massage therapist. Highly recommend her and will not go anywhere else. Ashley Descamp is AMAZING!!! I dont get that achey massage flu afterwards, she pays attention to details and remembers any back injuries or repeated ongoing issues, giving suggestions to help ease the issues in between sessions.

I was referred to Jessica Husom after she made a good impression on a co-worker through a local BNI networking group. At the time, I’d been suffering from severe allergy and cold/flu like symptoms for about 7-8 months – most of 2019. My lymph nodes were swollen always, my neck was stiff to the touch, ear infections, sinus infections… my jaw was killing me from all the tension (I clench my teeth). So I had killer headaches on top of it all from the sheer pressure in my skull. I’d been prescribed more and more antibiotics that weren’t working, I was taking daily allergy and cold meds, had nightly ice packs, and I even had to bust out the neti pot. I was taking maximum amounts of ibuprofen and acetaminophen daily just for the inflammation but doctors weren’t finding a treatment plan that worked. So many pills..!My chiropractor, Dr. Bridge, identified inflammation in my C1&C2 vertebra, and suggested that I should head to the dentist and get my wisdom teeth checked out. My dentist, Dr. Weatherill, performed x-rays and took a look around. Within 10 minutes, he knew what was wrong with me. “Lateral Pterygoid Muscle Spasm”. Apparently if you’ve got TMJ, like I do, clenching your teeth long enough will strain the muscles that help you open and close your mouth. In my case, the angriest muscle lies UNDER a layer of bone.I had Jessica’s phone number, and I made an appointment with her the next day. I was miserable and prepared for a very uncomfortable massage (couldn’t breathe through my nose, snot everywhere, sore everywhere, mad at my jaw). I showed up for a 45 minute intra-oral massage, where she’d don some gloves and tackle the angry muscle under the bones in my face from INSIDE my mouth.She was so gentle. She felt the tension from my shoulders all the way up my scalp. She used hot stones and a magnesium spray to supplement my care, added 15 minutes of her OWN time when we were done to work out surrounding areas and made detailed observations. She doesn’t charge for extras and she gifted me a homemade blend of Epsom salts for home care.I felt like a noodle when we were done. It was the first time in months I’d felt peace. About 10 minutes later, on the drive home, my sinuses opened up with a *squeak* like somebody turned a valve and completely drained. Headaches – gone. Sinus pressure – gone. Jaw tension – gone. Lymph nodes – normal. For days, and then weeks.I saw her again two months later, and was only JUST starting to feel tension returning to my jaw and temples.TL;DR: TMJ is a thing, and Jessica Husom knows how to help.
