Rude, wouldnt listen to me. Asked only yes or no questions. Asked me how I knew I was diabetic. Didnt want to listen to my parathyroid concerns Or what my Doctor sent me there. Didnt dress or look professional. Not very clean either.

I work as a receptionist for Dr.Newman and she is by far the sweetest lady Ive ever met. Yes she has her ways but once you get to know her you will love her! She is a great doctor that knows what she is doing and I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

Very honest doctor. Lets you know how it is without beating around the bush. She means well and just wants the best for you.

She was horrible. She refused to listen to anything and charged to send a script in to your pharmacy. Her bedside manner was horrible. Dont do it!! Go to Bruce wilson she was just a step in until Wilson established his own practice. We had been seeing him for over 10 yrs and we love him!

If I could rate Mary Newman -10/10 I would! She was one of the worst doctors I have ever seen, been to, or came in contact with. She is unprofessional, rude, ignorant, had the worst bed side manner I have ever seen! My Mother has an appointment with her, she was referred to her. Usually the doctor will send the referred doctor all the information. I guess this didn’t happen, and Mary went mad on us. She was angry at us for not telling her, we were telling her then we assumed all the work was sent over. She proceeds to spew nonsense about having to send a patient to Wyoming. That’s where my mom would need surgery. My mother doesn’t need surgery, that’s what baffled us. She would talk over us and wouldn’t shut her mouth. It was so insane, don’t go to Mary, after the appointment I looked up her reviews from other patients. By no surprise they were horrible, at this point her medical license should be in question. She needs to get her practice together and herself, which 10/10 was questionable.

Zero stars if it was possible. Please read for anyone getting referred to her. Let me save you the time, money, and hurt.First off, this woman is just looking to collect a consultation paycheck through insurances. She is not looking to treat ANYONE!I first seen her about 3 years ago, and she informed me that I had nothing wrong with me despite my labs, symptoms, and ultrasound (Thyroid). She was grossly unprofessional, extremely rude to her employees, and acted as if I was wasting her time and the doctors were all wrong.Fast forward to my next Endo who got ordered me more labs and an uptake scan, and sure enough, I was quickly put on medication for Hyperthyroidism and have been watched closely over the last 3 years as my thyroid has a mind of its own.Now, since there were no Endos in the area excepting my IDENTICAL TWIN sisters insurance and accepting new patients, she thought she would give her a try and hope to at least get her to order an uptake scan. She has had low labs for 4 years on record and came with an ultrasound as well stating mildly heterogeneous, hyper-vascular thyroid gland, compatible with the given history of hyperthyroidism.She came in instantly, had not looked over any of the questions the nurse had just asked her, and re-asked them. They had lost her referral and it was stated that this was something that happened regularly.She told her labs were not that low. . When she read her the results of her ultrasound, she said who read that?. My sisters response being, the radiologist?!Along with that, she continually down graded the other Drs that were in the area. When my sister then told her that she had wrongly said that I had nothing wrong with me, she said that the other Drs were probably wrong. She asked which Dr. I had went to. My sister could only remember my current Dr Wilson. She proceeded to say she got many of his patients, and he was practicing completely wrong and that there was many of his patients he wrongly diagnosed. (Despite being seen by 3 different specials and one ob specialist and getting labs every 8 week and treated the same by all of them.) From the get go she continued to put down every Dr. but herself.Then, she proceeded to show her the process of how hyperthyroidism is diagnosed by writing it down on a piece of paper, You can google this. And I suggest you do this. Which, believe me, my sister has tried to not go to the doctor. She is the type that doesnt want anything to hold her back, and going to the Dr. and being seen in the first place was big, and this was disheartening. She suggested that she could not get a prior authorization for the uptake scan without the T3 or T4 being high. Which is not true because mine was done. It wasnt until my second pregnancy that my T3 was high, never my T4. My sister knew at that point there was no reason to continue the appointment, and walked out. My mother was with her, and was completely appalled. She has multiple diseases and has been to multiple Drs, and had never had a Dr talk or treat her that way. She proceeded to tell the staff as my sister walked out distraught about how embarrassed the Dr. should be, that none of her family or friend would ever go to her, and that there would be a negative review.Two incidents with this Dr, and not one positive thing to say about her.She is everything wrong with doctors who are prideful instead of actually out to help people. It was ridiculous the treatment I received, let alone the even more disgraceful treatment my sister received.This woman needs to retire if she will not look for a course of treatment or cause of issues in the people she sees. If she is going to refuse to treat them, then there is no reason why should be making appointments with people either. Insurance shouldnt pay for her visits either, because she is just ripping them off.DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT, go to this woman. Take the wait to get into another specialist in the area.

My son and I went to her with blood tests done a month earlier for my son as he had been referred to her by the PA. Her appearance was awful, she is terribly obese and as an endocrinologist I was shocked at her appearance. At the second visit her pants were hanging open and her undergarments were clearly visible. She yelled at her assistant to lower her stool due to its up to high and I cant possible sit on that then she was upset it was to low. She was unaware as to why we were there and didnt even look at the referral. After ordering blood work she said his issues were not treatable by her and he needed a urologist. When we went to the urologist he said we needed an endocrinologist referral! Gosh, what a run around. We will see someone else for sure.

Dr. was very unprofessional. She would not let me speak about my thyroid issues and kept demanding I go and do more blood work and nuclear radioiodine scans when I tried repeating to her Ive gotten them done earlier that week why would I need a second radioactive scan when she hasnt even went over with me the results of my first one? She kept insisting that my first test was probably just an ultrasound on my neck but I definitely know the difference, in reality I got an ultrasound done on my neck already 2 weeks before. She would constantly talk over me and not let me explain myself as to what Im feeling. I explained to her that Ive already completed those tests and labs and she insisted Well Dr. Newman needs her own set of testing! Which made me feel like she doesnt care about the impact and pricing that these tests have on a patient. I usually never question a Dr.s requests but her visit really made me feel uncomfortable. I strongly dislike the fact that she was very quick to send me to go do more testing when my initial results of previous testing were never looked at or went over with me. I would definitely not reccomend her to anyone.

Dr. Newman did not listen to my questions or siggestionsand simply barrelled through to what she felt I should do, even though it tried to tell her I had done those tests before. She also eagerly told me her political opinion which made the whole encounter really uncomfortable. She relies on scaring you with incorrect test results, since she did a lipids panel without me fasting, to ensure you return to get the cure for the problem she sold you on. I would never recommend anyone to visit her.
