I was nervous. It was my first colonoscopy and my sister (in Idaho) was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 4. Everyone at Dr Boon’s office were super nice. The prep of laxatives etc. was not bad. It was all explained before hand and easy to follow. I arrived at 7:30 and was on my way home at 8:30. Overall the staff and Dr Boon we’re professional and kind. I won’t be afraid to go back again in 5 years. thank you!

Dr Boon and his staff are amazing!

Dr Boon is a great man and Dr. Although the facility staff and procedure were not great. Upon arrival the receptionist heckling me in said my appointment wasn’t for another 45min even though I had just spoke to a nurse the day before confirming my arrival time that I showed up for. Also upon arrival the same receptionist claimed I had a $300+ co-pay. I clearly stated this was never mentioned to me prior to the procedure and she claimed it was documented in the system that it was left on my voicemail. Nothing was said about a $300 co-pay in my voicemail. We had to leave and go to a bank for cash since we couldn’t prepare prior. Once in back for prep the release paperwork I had to sign stated the original time of arrival I had showed up at. The receptionist had clearly lied to me and once I confronted her about it and she avoided every bit of conversation from there on out. Prior to the procedure the anesthesiologist asked if I had any issues with Anesthesia and I explained that I’m very tolerant of it and can wake up. Sure enough, I woke up at the end with them still finishing the procedure and it was painful. My nurse was great and sympathetic about the experience as well as Dr Boone, but even after speaking to the anesthesiologist and surgery room assistant/nurse there was nothing said and I was shuffled out pretty quickly. Not sure if I will have a procedure done here again. I may see Dr Boon again, but would make sure if having a procedure done again that those issues are addressed.

I have had many procedures done with Dr Boon. He and staff have always been great. No my favorite thing to do but has kept symptoms to a minimum. Professional and competent.

Dr. Boon does a good job, but his staff is mediocre at best. After having been with him for 10+ years, I continue to struggle with getting preauthorizations done in a timely fashion which often results in me have lapses in my medication a couple times a year. Most recently, I went through an insurance change. After dropping my insurance information in-person, I was told they would contact me and the specialty pharmacy very soon. Three weeks later, nobody has contacted me, the insurance, or the specialty pharmacy. Once again, there will be a significant lapse in my medication.
