I just had a spot of cancer removed from my face. I was surprised after the surgery the doctor left and had the nurse stitch the wound closed. Evidently he doesn’t care how the wound gets closed. As a result she didn’t stitch it all the way closed which has left a hole on my face right by my eye. Now I am left with a big scar.

Having had a history of dermatological issues, it was important for me to find a top notch dermatology practice when I moved here a few years ago. Dr. Hopps practice is amazing. Rebecca Eng, who does my semi-annual exams is beyond thorough and always cheerfully communicative. When she did find an issue needing treatment, Dr. Hopps work was also very thorough. Both Rebecca and Dr. Hopp inspire confidence. Thanks to both of them.

Apologies! I made the feedback to the wrong place previously.Dr. Hopp is awesome, he always taught me why he needs to treat this part instead of others. I remember he drew a picture of facial muscle structure to make me understand better. More importantly, he always uses APPROPRIATE dose to keep naturally instead of too much. I asked other center, they suggested double dose than Dr. Hopp provided dose for the Botox. Anyway, I really appreciate Dr. Hopps treatment. All staffs are friendly and kind and helpful.Additionally, I had a very nice experience in the consultation with Jennifer as well. She explained my questions and concerns with very kind patience. The take-home message from her is helpful as well.Highly recommend this place!

Same thing as a previous review if I could give 0 stars I would. This place is a money hoard they refuse to accommodate to their clients needs and act like they are almighty, they lost business today simply because they are not willing to work with me and my overworked schedule. They would rather collect fees for rescheduled appointments than have continued business. I hope the fancy new buildings they are in is worth having to overcharge people for 20 second appointments where they tell you to buy things from walmart waste of time money and energy to have to deal with such a wannabe dermatologists center. Hope this business get run into the ground Ill be hoping for it.

I was a new patient and I really enjoyed my visit. The staff were very nice, pleasant and thorough. I did not have a long wait time and Dr. Mesirow was very kind and also thorough and explained things well. I would definitely recommend this doctor and office! No complaints.

If youre going to call and make an appointment with them make sure to ignore them asking for all your insurance, phone number, addresses... Skip straight to asking them their availability. I understand it is easier for them to get that information out of the way but if youre only available Monday through Thursday from 8-5 (When most people work), you should probably start with that.

MaryLu Vait is super quick and professional. Rebecca Eng is very compassionate. I’ve been to them several times and always leave feeling good. Love them!

Dermatology Associates is a very good place for skin problems. They have reasonable costs and are effective in treating patients. Both staff and nurse practitioners and doctors are very good.

I have only dealt with Dr. Mesirow and I am well satisfied with his professional manner and effective treatment. I sometimes must wait a bit before seeing him, but I expect that when going to any doctors office and believe it is because the doctor is spending the time helping another patient.

Dr. Iyengar is terrific. He makes sure you understand everything he is telling you and stays to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Staff is courteous and helpful.

The staff was courteous and professional. I saw Dr. Iyengar and was pleased that he took the time to answer all my questions, and I did not feel rushed. The wait to be seen was not too long. I would highly recommend this practice.

Had a painful condition that was pretty obvious. Im pregnant and this condition could be worrisome if it was the virus we anticipated it was. The NP took a viral culture and sent it off. She had the entire next week off but told me someone would call me within a few days. Someone did call, only to tell me the results take 7 days. When 7 days came and went, I called and someone else told me it actually takes 25 days to get results! The provider should have done a blood test which would have provided the diagnoses within a few days. This clinic cares and knows much more about vanity skin care like laser hair removal and botox than it does about regular skin issues. I paid for nothing here. I wont be back.

I am reluctant to give this place 1 star because they deserve less. My appointment here was the worst doctors visit I have ever had and I can only hope that this review will spare someone else from having an equally horrible experience. I cannot speak for all of the doctors/nurses at this office, as I have heard good things about Dr. Hopp, which is why I made my appointment at his office, but my visit with Mary Lu Hubbe was less than adequate. I had never been to a dermatologist before and I made the appointment to have an irregular mole checked. I was worried that the mole may be cancerous and was slightly nervous going in. Mary Lu was less than cordial, unprofessional and had a terrible bedside manner. Before I understood what she was doing, she started preparing to perform an invasive procedure without asking for my approval or giving me any cost estimate. I had legitimate concerns about the procedure that were facetiously excused. She mockingly laughed when I inquired about the cost, and rushed into performing a procedure without providing a proper explanation of what she was doing. After I expressed that I did not want to go through with the procedure, she responded with, “Maybe you can come back if you can save up the $500.” In addition to that, she made rude, insensitive comments about my body that made me feel uncomfortable. I had to leave work early to go to this appointment just to waste my time, money and patience. When I left the office, I was so upset my hands were shaking. This practitioner did not foster an atmosphere of trust and did not show sincere concern. I cannot express how dissatisfied I was with this experience.

Very happy with the service Ive had from the staff here at Dr. Hopps office. Ive only had minor skin issues, but they always know exactly what the problem is and what I (or they) should do about it. Ive been patient since when they were at the old location, but the new/current building is beautiful and the facilities inside are all top-notch.

Dr. Iyengar is very thorough. He is very patient and puts you at ease. He will take the time to answer all of your questions and concerns. Mohs surgery went very well with him.

My daughter was a new patient, even so, we waited over 2 HOURS...the assistant apologized saying she did not know we were waiting that long, even though I went up to the multi-desk SEVERAL times to tell them the time we arrived and our original appointment time. Was not impressed by either of the 2 doctors my daughter was examined by. Never will return.

Everyone at Dermatology Associates was professional and pleasant. Dr. Iyengar was amazing. He fixed my skin issues and my husbands skin cancer.

They always manage to get me in right away when I need them. They ask a lot of questions and seem genuinely interested in my problem. They have always solved my problem quickly. I would recommend them to my friends.

Only visited the office once but was treated professionally and with courtesy. The wait to see Dr. Iyengar was not long and he was very pleasant and put me at ease immediately. Dr. Iyengar performed a procedure on that visit that was painless and cured my problem. Thank you to all the staff at Dermatology Associates.

Dr. Iyengar is very though, everything explained so that you can understand. Ease of appointments and little waiting time. This will be my 3rd year and 5th visit. My wife has also has seen him and was very pleased. Another local dermatology clinic made you wait 2 hours or longer in the waiting room. I guess thats why they call it waiting. Dr. Mesirow is an articulate, caring doctor who inspires trust. He explains clearly and in a cordial way. One immediately knows he knows what hes talking about. Outstanding!The office is run professionally and when I asked to be on a waiting list for an earlier appointment, the staff called me back and I saw Dr. Mesirow earlier. Many doctors offices say they will call you back re: waiting list, but it rarely happens.I highly reccomend this practice and DR. MESIROW without exception.

Dr. Meisrow diagnosed my skin problem quickly and was efficient in his manner.

Dr. Mesirow is outstanding. Great bedside manner, very short waiting time. His treatments for pre-cancerous actinic keratosis are painless and essential to good health. If you need a dermatologist, ask for Dr. Mesirow.

MY EXPIERENCE WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL.AT ALL, MY APPIONTMENT WAS WITH THE PA WHICH STATED THAT IT WAS OK TO USE ALCOHOL ON MY FACE AND NECK ( I NEEDED TO USE SOMETHING UNTIL A COULD GET AN APPT WITH THE DERMATOLOGIST) SHE HAD A STUDENT WITH HER WHICH HAD MORE BEDSIDE MANNERS THAN SHE HAD. I ASK ABOUT FACIAL HAIR AND THE DARKNESS AROUND MY NECK, WHICH CAME FROM YEARS OF USING BIRTHCONTROL PILLS, SHE BRUSHED ME OFF BASICALLY STATED THAT WAS DO TO ME BEING OVERWEIGHT AND MIDDLE AGE. THE APPT WAS A TOTAL WASTE. MY HUSBAND, MY DAUGHTER, AND MYSELF NEVER WENT BACK. WE FOUND SOMEONE ELSE. FOR THE MONEY I SPENT MORE THAT 200.00 BUCKS IS REALLY WOULD LIKE MORE THAN A 2 MIN OFFICE VIST

Drs. Mesirow and Iyengar were cheerful, professional, and prompt. As were their staffs.
