Thank you Columbia crest eye care. My HOUR lunch break which is over in 5 minutes now was wasted calling a phone answering machine. No one has come in or out of the building the doors are locked and you guys are supposed to be open? You have nothing posted other than that you are open right now and to call for an appointment. I would have really liked to have eaten lunch or at least gotten a confirmation of her appointment by the end of this... it was very important to me, now I’m going back hungry with no appointment set up...

I and my husband have been going to Dr. Travis for years but will not be going back to him. He spent a good portion of the appointment talking about politics, something that I do not like to discuss with anyone, let alone my doctor. Last year, they began charging an additional $95 (not paid by my insurance) for a follow up contact lens appointments. Since I have been getting the same prescription from him for years, I asked them to wave it last year and they did. This year, they would not give me my contact lens prescription to take to Costco unless I paid the additional fee, which they dont tell you about until you are finished with your exam. I do not do return appointments to him for fittings (I have the same prescription that I have had for years) so there is no reason to pay the additional fee for that and my appointment was the same length as my husbands, who only wears glasses. Someone came from the back to make sure that I was told that they do not do that and that person was not a friendly person. We will not be going back to them in the future.

I have been going here for several years. The staff are friendly and helpful but this last visit was frustrating. normally it takes about 1 hour for the visit but this visit took 2 hours and I had someplace I NEEDED to be. I told each of the staff this but it didnt seem to bother them. Their response was well your not going to make it.Why is it that doctors think that their time is the only thing of importance? I am a customer, I am paying for a service that you are providing. My time is very important to me.

The gal at the counter said she called my insurance to make sure exam was cover said yes. Had it done... month later I get a bill from them. Call them up manage gets on tells me they dont call insurance companys to verify that kind of thing and that no office does that... if they made a mistake say so and dont lie about it... MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE CHECK WHAT THEY TELL YOU!!!

Worst place ever, waited 6 weeks for contacts, for them to tell me that the contacts were never ordered. Doctor was great but front desk staff are worthless.

Friendly front desk staff got me in for a spur of the moment appointment. I was seen by Michelle - easily the best eye doctor I have ever encountered. Funny, smart, knowledgeable.

These people are crooks. Sally the office manager could not explain how several different employees confirmed that my insurance would cover the visit but then it did not because this place is out of network according to them. Sally just danced around my questions and said I needed to call my insurance company. She also confirmed my insurance was not in network but her staff told us we definitely were. Angel even called to confirm what insurance we use and said, yes you are definitely in network. Crooks.

Moved to Tri-Cities in 2009 and started going here based on recommendation from a friend. The first time I purchased eye glasses, the staff were very impatient and didnt want to help me adjust the glasses so theyd be level on my face. I guess I had grown used to that service in the past 20 years from all the other stores Ive purchased glasses from. They were in a hurry to get back to their computer in the back enclosed office, so I left with crooked glasses and used pliers to bend the glasses into place at home later that night.Another problem: my lenses had advertisement engraving/etching on the lenses. I noticed when pulling out of the parking lot that oncoming traffic was blurry. I took off the glasses looking for dirty spots and noticed letters SV and R engraved in several places on the lenses. I complained and they did replace the lenses, but I had to wait an additional three weeks. With a vacation coming up, I ordered a spare pair of glasses on April 22nd. We called the store over the phone, said we wanted to order the same thing, and gave a credit card number. The glasses cost $400 and arrived in about 3 weeks. When I put on the glasses and looked around I again saw engraving of letters on the lenses. I explained that this had already happened before. They said theyd fix the issue.Another 2 weeks went by and the new glasses arrived on May 24th. This time, my wife picked up the glasses and brought them home. When I got home from work to try on the glasses a second time, found out the new glasses still have letter engraving. Called in to the store to complain (not enough time to drive to the store before 6PM close). They gave us the same story again that they would have the lab make new lenses. Our vacation starts next week and they said they cannot expedite the new lenses and that we dont have them in time for vacation. $400 and 6 weeks later and still no glasses. We can order the same glasses off the internet for $175. (2 for the price of 1).-Staff are too busy in the back office room to be bothered helping customers. (not sure what they are doing in there but they spend a lot of time back there).-Staff orders the wrong lenses repeatedly.-Glasses are twice as expensive as the internet (and take 3 times as long to arrive due to all the mistakes)Avoid Columbia Crest Eye Care if you need to buy a new pair of glasses.
