Unfortunately this has been a bad experience dealing with the billing staff in this office. I wanted it to be a good experience and based on all the great reviews I expected nothing less. My husband went in for a new patient exam and cleaning on Aug 10. While he was there he was told he needed a deep cleaning and they would need to get a fee schedule from our insurance. 2 1/2 months later and many many calls later, we are still waiting. They tried to blame it on our insurance but I am my company’s benefit administrator and I’ve known on the backend what is going on. Their billing person Terry has dropped the ball. Every time I call I am told she will call me back, but she doesn’t. I have had one conversation with her and we didn’t get anywhere. The office staff seems nice, but a bit clueless and haven’t been able to help me. It has been frustrating and disappointing. We had heard great things about this dentist, unfortunately the office staff has changed our minds.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Dyer and his staff! They make you feel like family from the moment you call and make your appointment. Dr. Dyer and his staff were amazing in working with my daughter to make her feel comfortable and have a pleasant experience with her dental work. They were very thorough and explained everything along the way.

My husband and I have been coming to this practice for years, and we cannot say enough good things about this dentist, his staff, or the office. Compassionate. Professional. Consistent.

Dr. Paul Dyer is like the Tiger Woods of dentistry. He is also very gentle while still getting your teeth properly cleaned. He has a great team of dental hygienists as well. Best part is they have massage chairs with TVs attached. You can get dental work done while getting a massage and watching HGTV!

I usually dont leave public reviews, however it is important that people get informed about this practice. The actual dentist & helper were amazing, knowledgable and took their time helping me. This complaint is directed towards the office staff, specifically the manager. I came in for a consultation and was supposed to receive a treament plan. I had to call multiple times to receive the unfinished & vague document. The plan was missing procedures, didnt show billing codes nor did it break down which teeth needed what done. I called again to get a specific estimate set up for my first appointment. Calling multiple times for the next three weeks, I was still left without the action plan and was forced to schedule an appointment without even knowing what was getting done on that day. I explained on several occasions that in the meantime one of my teeth broke and needed immediate attention. This resulted in no sense of urgency, mind you I am also currently pregnant. The final time I called to follow up on my estimate for the already schedule appointment, I was informed that they have stopped being in network with United Health Care and I would need to pay for everything in full. Unbelievable that it has been several weeks, $100 for the consultation, a broken tooth and immense amount of stress dealing with a business that seemed like they cared about their customers. I had to call to cancel my appointment to avoid them sending me another bill for not showing up and am absolutely frustrated having wasted my time with this office. They knew that my insurance would not cover the procedures anymore and delibrately led me on to believe that I could get my teeth fixed, however luckily I got ahold of one of the other staff members who finally told me what the situation was. If you have to rely on isnurance to get your dental work done, do NOT seek out this place. Apparently dental procedures in 2020 are a mere business to generate revenue.

From the first phone call to the last goodbye, this was an ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! Dr. Dyer and all of his staff welcome you and make you feel HAPPY that you came. The office staff work with you to ensure that your appointment fits YOUR schedule AND exactly what your insurance covers. If you have no insurance, they HAVE A PLAN for you! My hygienist, Tracy, was incredibly gentle and explained EVERYTHING as she worked. The best part was Dr. Dyer himself -- friendly but professional, warm, funny, VERY KIND! How refreshing to have a KIND dentist! I immediately booked a return appointment, and have told all my friends and family about Dr. Dyer.

I cannot say enough good things about this office. I have been in there more than I would like to admit with different dental procedures. Dr Dyer and staff have all taken very good care of me. They are good at working with your schedule to best accommodate. They are friendly and professional. And in the case of the dental emergency he went above and beyond. I recommend all my friends and family to him.

I had an amazing visit to North Tarrant Family Dentistry. He not only took the time to show me everything that he was seeing on a screen, but also explained everything to me in the fullest and even re-explained at times. He also built a relationship with me that will make me want to enjoy my future visits to Dr. Paul Dyers family practice. He has all of the latest technology and when I told my brother that my dentist even had operating chairs that massaged my back, he was so jealous! So, without a doubt and hands down, the best dental visit experience Ive ever had, by far!!!

I went for a routine cleaning and learned my filling from my previous Dentist needed to be replaced. Getting shots in the mouth were not something I looked forward to scheduling. Dr. Dyer was more than empathetic and was able to fit me in his busy schedule. The procedure was literally painless and he took his time explaining each step. I cant thank Dr. Dyer and his staff enough for their great care.

Dr. Dryer and his entire staff deserve a 5+++ rating! You cant find a more caring, compassionate, professional, yet loving group of people all working toward one goal: Your smile and dental health! Im certainly not their best patient. (Do we REALLY have to talk about flossing???!!!) Dr. Dyer and his right hand Jessica are the perfect team! Dr. Dyer has chosen the most wonder staff. Each one of them is great at their job and each one of them truly cares about YOU, the patient!

My experience at North Tarrant Family Dentistry was excellent. I felt comfortable the entire time at the office even during the exam. Normally when I leave an appointment with other dentists, my mouth feels raw and my gums ache. Dr. Dyer did an excellent job to ensure that he was not overly aggressive on my gums. I also did not feel like I was in a sales presentation. He explained the entire process and made sure I was well informed. I would recommend going to see Dr. Dyer to any friends and family members.

This past weekend, I had an unfortunate accident at the pool which led to a severely chipped front tooth. I was in so much pain. My mother suggested that I contact Dr. Paul, her dentist, even though it was a Sunday afternoon.Reluctantly, I called his number (I tend to get a little nervous about dental appointments). To my delight, Dr. Paul turned out to be one of the most friendly people that I had ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did he come in for an emergency apppointment with me that same day, but he spent nearly two hours making sure I was completely pain-free when I left.This alone was going above and beyond the call of duty, but Dr. Paul didnt stop there. He was able to get me in the very next day and fixed my tooth. I think it may look better than it did before I chipped it!Needless to say, I no longer fear dental appointments! :) Thanks Dr. Paul!

Everyone here is so personable and willing to do anything to make you feel right at home. Dont know why I ever went to any other dentist, because these guys are the best and will always be my favorite.

I recently moved care from a provider that retired. I hate going to the dentist so I was very picky picking a new provider. I met with Dr. Dyer, he was very friendly and proactive in treatment. They have great office hours. I would/have recommended North Tarrant Family Dentistry to family and friends.
