She did a decent job. Didnt inform me the perm I got would completely pull out when she bleached my hair. So now I have half really curly hair and half loose curls. Kind of frustrating. I also asked for my hair to be lightened but look natural. I got an ombre and had to resort to using peroxide on the rest of my hair to blend it out. She didnt tell me it was going to be over 100 bucks and the sign said 80 or something like that. I should have just use peroxide in the first place. Thats what I get I guess. Perm turned out great until I got the bleach done. Spend hundreds of dollars to be disappointed. She told me my curls would bounce back at the bleached sections. Nope.

The manager Lashunda has been my stylist for almost 3 years now and she is great! If you want healthy hair and good conversation come see her!

Made an appointment online and checked in at the kiosk, then was told that I had to come back in 20 minutes because another person had called to make an appointment at the same time. Ridiculous

We love Lashunda, the manager. She has been cutting my daughters hair for about 5 years. She has cut mine and recently gave me some very natural highlights. Always happy with her work.

Last time i went they didn’t put a cap on me and i had hair all over me and my clothes. poor service that women just didn’t care about her customers. if i wanted a quick fix haircut would have done myself.

Great customer service and an okay hair style. It was a quick in and out as our usual place was booked. Stylist knew exactly what was wanted and was VERY helpful. Hair cut was good and clean but the line was misplaced so my opinion is slightly affected.

Im new to Texas. I stopped in at SmartStyle Hair Salon in Keller, looking for a stylist. Their is were I meant Manager/ hairstylist Evelyn White. We started off as strangers but quickly became friends and one of the only person I trust to do my hair now. It may be difficult to understand how our hair stylist can mean so much to us with so little time we spend with them, but its no secret that black women have a special relationship with the person who helps maintain their look. There are certain qualities we all want our favorite hairstylist to process. Everyone Loves a hairstylist that is Knowledgeable, professional, honest, friendly, polite and patient. Women can be very indecisive (like me) when it comes to there hair. We also want someone thats fair, respectful, a good listener someone whos compassionate, reliable, accommodating and prompted a time conscious hairstylist. Evelyn White have all of these qualities, needless to say her Customer Service skills are Outstanding!! I wouldnt trade her in for the world!!! I have definitely been recommending her at ALL my friends and family. I Love You Evelyn White keep up the good work.

Go and see Mayretta!! She is new to this location and BONUS she is from Chicago (my hometown). She is professional, personable, and cares about the health of your hair. The entire family can come to her because she is not only a licensed hairdresser she is a licensed barber. She is also funny and you will walk out in good spirits and a beautiful hairstyle or cut. You all got a winner this time.

I did my haircut here. She just ruined my haircut. She was not atleast able to hold my hair properly. Definitely she is not an expert. She is Indian I think. She was not friendly also. Her Customer behavior also not good. Her name I dont know.

Really friendly staff. Quick to help when I walk in. 9 times out of 10 I love my hair when I leave. Good prices too. Only thing is I wish it looked as nice & new as some others Ive gone to. But the employees cant help that so its still great

The first time I came in I got my hair cute by Lashunda and it was great. I went in a few days ago as a spare of the moment kind of thing and I got a different lady because Lashunda wasnt there. I believe her name was Patricia. She was nice but I hate my haircut she gave me. She hardly asked me what I wanted and she spoke very little English which made it hard to communicate. As someone who knows about cutting hair I should have known something was off when she didnt start with the perimeter she just dove right into the layers. I wouldnt say she butchered my hair but she definitely didnt do a very good job. I will be going back to lashunda next time

If I could give no stars I would. I came in for a relaxer, cut and style with Evelyn. Evelyn who is the so called salon manager is super disorganized and unprofessional. I went in super excited to have her do my hair and left out very dissatisfied. I also ended up with burns on the side of my face after I told her it was burning. Why is relaxer even on my skin like that?! I will try to post a pic of my hair and burns. Evelyn is super disrespectful, talks down to clients, answers her cell phone the whole time, runs the register and takes in 2-3 more clients while she’s doing your hair. I got there at 11:20 for an 11:30 appointment and left at 3:00pm with my hair still NOT done. I’ve never experienced this in a salon of any kind. Evelyn also made comments to people on the phone and staff in the salon like “let me hurry because my clients are in a rush” when I advised her that 3 hours in a salon was unacceptable. She also said her clients were “getting on her nerves” and she didn’t want to be rushed. She is very immature and I’m shocked the owner doesn’t allow people to get ahold of him to complain. When I told her my feedback regarding how unhappy I was with her incomplete and unsatisfactory work after 3 hours of waiting under the dryer, she proceeded to emphasize as she walked away that I was “STILL getting on her nerves”. Please do not be fooled by the fake customer service when you schedule. The reviews are 2.8 out of 5 stars for a reason. They need to terminate Evelyn and put a manager and staff that are professional and organized.

I came in to get a relaxer, cut and style and was very happy with my experience. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been. Evelyn was very friendly and professional. GREAT JOB!!!

Every time I go in, the price goes up for the same services quite a lot and you dont find out until afterwards. Also, a good conditioner or simple detangler would have eleviated a lot of her yanking at my hair, which tell me quality hair products arent being used or the cheapest thing possible.

I am a regular there who gets my hair done and they have good prices very friendly staff
