My son was referred to Dr. Tim for a lip and tongue tie release. We were scheduled pretty quickly. We saw the doctor, he explained everything and did an exam. He was able to do the procedure that day. He made sure I was comfortable with doing the stretches and sent us on our way. For the follow up visit, his schedule changed and they had to switch my sons appointment to another day. They called me as early as possible and tried to work with us.We had an extremely positive experience and I would recommend Acorn Dentistry to anyone.

My son is very anxious about shots and today he was worked on my this marvelous team who successfully convinced him after all of his questions which they answered patiently and completely, to hold still and breathe deeply and let them do their work. Marvelous, wonderful, magical people with a gift for children!! Thank you!!

My kids had their first cleaning/exam at Acorn today. Our experience there exceeded my expectations from the time I entered till the time I left. The atmosphere is really great for kids. It’s a clean welcoming bright space. The reception desk staff is friendly, informative and really great with the kids. The nurses and doctor were beyond great. They were patient and gracious with the kids. When it came to explaining things to me about care at home they were so sweet and explained things so well. My 4 year old even walked away talking about what he needs to do to keep the monsters off his teeth. When it was time for my 2 year olds exam they didn’t make him sit in the chair. They were fast and patient with it being his first time and the fear kids have at such a young age. My 5 year old said she couldn’t wait to go back! Overall I can not say enough good things about my experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Acorn to everyone looking for a dentist for their kiddos!!!

I am not sure who the dentist was who performed the filling on my son today but he was great! Talked my kiddo through the whole things. All the girls at the office are always so nice and helpful. My son feels super comfortable in this office! I appreciate the whole Acorn family for what they do!

Always have a great experience at Acorn Dentistry in Keizer. Liz did the cleaning and X-Rays. She was very kind and personable. We highly recommend and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The staff is super friendly and did a awesome thorough job in ensuring that her teeth were clean and providing me detailed information in regards to what needs to be done next. My daughter felt very comfortable there with the staff. My only concern was the use of special, alternative words so not to make the child afraid. This makes sense with younger children but my daughter is 10 years old and very intelligent and aware. She knows how to read between the lines and appreciates being told the truth. She asked me questions to what needed to be done as we left the dentist office in which I provided her all the information. This made her feel less afraid as she was already aware that something needed to be done but wasn’t sure. My only suggestion would be to ask the parents for input to how and what is said in front of each child as they are all different and do not process information the same.

It was a very friendly speedy visit. My daughter went for her very first visit to the dentist and we were at the visit for less than 20 mins. From checking-in to, visiting the dentist to check-out was very well done and expedited.The dentist was gentle and friendly to my daughter and was able to explain everything to me simultaneously.

Our kind hygienist made my very nervous and shy four year old feel safe. The dentist was thorough and professional while still connecting well to both my kids. Our last visit to a different dentist was a total disaster. So glad we decided to give Acorn a try!

We had a great first experience at Acorn. The staff were great with my toddler son and explained everything they were going to do before they did it. They made sure my son wasn’t nervous about anything. Dr. Abdelsalam has great bedside manner and I loved watching her interact with my son at his level. She made him feel confident. When we drove home, my son said, “I want to be a dentist when I grow up!” I think that says it all. Thank you for making my son and me feel welcomed and cared for!

My kids have PTSD from this place. Any time anyone brings up acorn or they see the acorn signs around town they burst into tears and go into anxiety mode.We have such a traumatic experience at this location. My kids have never been afraid of the dentist until we came acorn.We originally came here because they advertise as super kid friendly but the dentist laughing at your daughter while she’s having a full panic attack is not kid friendly. When I tried to comfort my daughter she told me to stop, that I was being dramatic… the entire visit was a nightmare. I cancelled all future appointments.I also left feed back directly to the location and asked to be contacted but they didn’t care about negative feedback, all they want is people to post good reviews on here and send the bad ones directly to them (with no intention of solving the issue).They put silver caps on my daughter teeth without even doing any X-rays to confirm she needed them. We wish we could go back and remove them but my kids are terrified of this place.

I brought my daughter here today for her very first dental visit. I heard great reviews and from their website they sounded like the best place to bring her for her first experience. But I didnt leave feeling satisfied at all. I felt frustrated and disappointed. I made a point to let them know it was her first visit. However when we were back in the office and she was in the chair, they didnt explain anything to my daughter and what they were doing to do before they did it. The dental assistant immediately started to clean her teeth without warning her and warning her about the loud sound it makes. It startled my daughter and the dental assistant didnt think it was a big deal. Then when she went to rinse her mouth, again didnt explain what would happen so of course when she turned the water on my daughter flinched and water sprayed all over her face. Once again the dental assistant acted like Aubrey was overreacting. Even when the dentist came in to examine her teeth she did a better job letting my daughter know what she was going to do.. but everything felt very rushed. Even when asking questions the dentist kind of rushed through answers and I feel like I didnt get what I wanted. And the dental assistant just seemed very impatient with my daughter when she was fussy and nervous. On the paperwork they give you asking how I think shell do in the room I said she was nervous and scared. Second question, how can we make her experience go well? I said use gentle words, be patient and talk to her and explain things. They didnt do any of it. At one point my daughter said what she was doing hurt her teeth and the assistant replied no it doesnt your fine Im not using anything thats hurting you. Well how do you know? I felt her response was cold and rushed. Seemed they couldnt wait to get us out with no explanations or if I had any questions. Just see you in 6 months.. which seems like a long time since she has a permanent tooth growing behind a baby tooth.. just was left confused with unanswered questions. Most likely will be canceling that 6 month appointment.

My daughter is a very nervous patient. She is not easy to work on. She only cooperates for Dr. Kelly. He is fantastic with her. She said he is gentle and funny. I only wish you could pick the Dentist she sees every time. We plan on requesting Dr. Kelly when she goes from here on out.

This place is amazing! Sooooooo good with kiddos! My son Kayden had a small cavity I couldnt believe how smooth and easy they made it go for him! He is full of energy and strong willed. They knew exactly what to do, he was calm and did exactly what needed to be done happily! Alice is amazing, staff is amazing!

It is very reassuring when your kids get excited to see the dentist! They love the experience from coming in the little door, to getting weighed and measured, and through the entire treatment process! My oldest daughter has a palette expander in currently, and the aide even cleaned that really well! Between our orthodontist and Acorn, all our needs and insecurities about teeth and keeping them clean are covered! And my mom worry, is lifted. Thank you so much!

The staff was great today! It was my son’s 1st Dentist appointment. They joked with him and talked him though everything they were going to do. It made him and I feel very comfortable! He loved the tv and the toy afterwards. 10/10! I was very impressed!

This office refused service to my friends children because she didnt wear a mask. They went as far as wasting our tax dollars and police time by calling them and telling them she was trespassing, which she was not. She had an appointment. These were children. How can you refuse necessary care to children? Even after my friend explained that she has exemption from mask wearing, he still refused to serve her children. Even after failing to provide any actual documentation regarding any policy, procedure, or legal requirements for forcing mask, they still refused to serve her.

It was my three year olds first time and I thought she would have a meltdown . She did amazing and that’s thanks to the staff!! The DA was great with her as well as the Dr. thank you all

Dr was very prompt in his attentative to our appointment. He was quick with his evaluation & the frenectomy procedure. I do with there wouldve been more explanation and discussion of the after care stretches as I am a more visual learner and reading instructions on how to do the stretches was a bit more difficult to ensure doing them properly.

My daughter has been going to acorn since her first dental visit and i just took my 18th month old for his first visit. They did so good with him and they are always so patient with my 5 year old who has special needs. I highly recommend them!

My children’s very first experience with Acorn Dentistry in Keizer was amazing! The staff was efficient, helpful, and informative of the procedure to myself and my children. They helped me to juggle three boys aged 1-10 and made the process fun and easy for everyone. The office is very child friendly and kept my kids occupied and entertained. We are all very pleased with Acorn Dentistry, Dr. Alice, and her wonderful staff!

Friendliest ever staff!

I would give it less if my first appointment for my daughter didnt go so great. But front desk staff? A zero. Not only was I given the incorrect time for the second appointment, I got attitude showing up at the time I was given telling me I was late. Then AGAIN given the incorrect time for my daughters next appointment. No wonder people show up late or at the wrong time.

I absolutely loved this place, both my children were seen on the same day, which made it so convenient especially with all this going on. It’s very kid friendly even mom friendly lol. I liked that they explained everything to me and not just tell me where to sign.. I highly recommend Acorn Dentistry

Dr. Tim did the frenectomy surgery for my daughter’s tongue tie. He was extremely kind, compassionate, skilled, and understanding. He explained everything to me, gave me the tools I needed to continue care at home, and helped me understand what to expect. He was great when I called in a few days later, scared about my daughter’s tongue. She’s doing great and talking up a storm. She nurses well and has good sucking reflexes, which she did not have before. The roof of her mouth formed properly, so we are very thankful! Thank you Dr. Tim and Acorn Dentistry staff!

Both of my girls had appointments today and my first (age 6) was very calm and had such a great experience. She was completely taken care of and excited about her appointment. My second daughter (age 3) was extremely nervous and basically screamed the entire appt but the dentist wasnt even phased and brought a calm energy to the room. He was super quick and patient with her. Im so happy we found this dentist!

I started bring my children here recently. I wish I had started them sooner. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. My children love coming in here. They always look forward to watching their movies and playing on their dance floor.

My 3 year old son with special needs had been transfered to Acorn Dentistry because he was uncooperative with the last dentist. The staff was so understanding of his condition and made a true effort to make him comfortable and it looked like he was a completely different child. He was happy and ready to trust the staff and with no fighting. It put me at ease and made all the difference in the world for my sons dental experience.

Have tried a few different dentists for my son, and this is the one im staying with. They bill accurately tell u upfront the cost if any, excellent with kids and very efficient. Fun waiting room and focuses on ensuring the child has a good experience before leaving to make future visits easy. Wish i could give them more stars. Oh they also have an incredible amount of patience. My son struggles with a bit of anxiety and they seriously made this a great experience.

I would rate the clinic in keizer a 10. I took my youngest for fillings and the 2 dental assistant were amazing on comforting my child . Very impress w. Friendly service.

We started with Acorn in Silverton and am so thankful we found them for our daughter. She is treated as a person and our interaction with the staff is always positive. The Acorn dentist staff are all friendly and helpful. The dentist’s are respectful and very kind and knowledgeable too. Overall you won’t regret choosing Acorn for all your precious children’s dental needs here in Keizer.

Our first visit to this office for our daughter. The office has plenty of room in the waiting area for toddlers to play and several toys and tablets for the kids to enjoy while they are waiting. The office was very clean and well organized as well. The front office staff was very nice and attentive. Our daughter was seen my Michele who was very patient and excellent with her. My daughter was very nervous but seem to take to the staff almost immediately and even gave Michelle a hug and the end she was so happy. The one thing I noticed more than anything is that the entire staff was engaging and friendly. Everyone there greeted us with a smile and you just dont see that kind of customer service/ engagement anymore. We will continue to take our daughter here and no where else for sure. We all enjoyed out visit so much I wish they also treated adults as well.

My kids have always disliked any type of medical office settings! One with adhd, autism, environmental anxiety and depression disorder it was always a challenge to make him feel comfortable enough to even let them just look in his mouth! Today as soon as we walked in he felt comfortable, first time ever!! He got to play games while he waited, was cooperative the entire time! He willingly got on the table laid back and watched the movie of his choice and let them do whatever they needed to do!!! They reworded “scary” words for him to help him at ease!! And explained things that they were going to do for him to understand before they even touched him!! The respect and patience this office has is unbelievable!!! And my son is excited to go back!!!

This place is like a kids Paradise. The lobby is full of kid fun. The kids get to pick a show they can watch while the dentist is working on their teeth. They make it sound less scary for your child. My son love it here. After every visit they get a token to use in the prize machines in the lobby.

Very friendly and inviting. My son had so much fun in the waiting room, so many cool things to keep the little ones entertained. I love all the incentives that they have for the kids, definitely outweighed the anxiety that my son experienced during the exam, and will keep us looking forward to the next visit. The only thing that I wish they had was Spanish speaking staff. Its my sons first language and I know he would have been more comfortable had the Dr or the hygienist spoke Spanish, so it would be nice to have that option. But overall it was a great experience for us.

This dentist is worth the drive for me! To be sure, my child receives the best dental care around. Friendly, capable, and understanding staff. All very good with young children. HIGHLY recommend - a good dentist is very important, and, while I cant necessarily say hard to find, I will say, CRITICAL for a young child, as a bad dentist can scar even an adult for life!

Everyone was great with my kids! My 8-yr old was so scared of having to have a tooth pulled, but they were awesome with distracting him and they let me sit next to him to hold his hand. He said it wasn’t as bad as he thought it was going to be! My stubborn 2-yr old is used to us brushing his teeth, so he cried but didn’t fight the dentist when he brushed his teeth and looked them over. I love the fact that they put the kids favorite movies on for them to help them relax!

Yes I would definitely recommend this Dentistry. I love how they work with the little ones. My daughter would always cry on her old Dentist appointment. She would never like to lay on their dental beds. So I would alway have to carry her and last week was her first time laying in them without crying. I wish I could post a picture for you guys to see how comfortable she was and how she let her self get cleaned up. So definitely a 5 star ⭐️

Acorn dentistry is super great with the kids. My kids look forward to their next visit every single time. When I tell them we are going to their dentist appointment they get really excited. My kids are part of the no cavity club and I love that this Dentist has that because it motivates them to brush their teeth as oppose to it being a drag for them. Hit or miss. Finding new dentist after todays appointment. I was asked to text when arriving due to covid and no one responded. I was given a stack of paperwork to fill out even though no information had changed and when i asked why i should fill out paperwork the response was um.. because of covid . They already had all the information but were apparently too busy not texting people back who are trying to follow their office mandated covid procedure to transfer my info from one sheet of paper to another. All of this would be easy to chalk up to miss communication and sub par service but what took place next was inexcusable. I was explaining my concerns about the above issues to the dentist and she literally interrupted me mid sentence and moved on. She didnt even acknowledge the fact that shed just interrupted me. No excuse me, no Im sorry for interrupting, nothing. I know she could hear me so that wasnt the issue. It was that she didnt care.

My son has been coming here since he was 2, every time we come he has an amazing experience!!! Ms Jenny D cleaned his teeth today, but before she even leaned the chair back he had a huge melt down!! She was so great at talking him though everything and showing him things first before doing and he had a successful cleaning in the end. Everyone was so very patient with him!! He even got 2 tokens. I will forever recommend this amazing office.

My son recently had an emergency mouth surgery done. Dr. Tess is beyond amazing! She totally focuses on the child and their comfort level, in return making Mom feel comfortable :) Everyone who works here is so kind!

This was our first visit with our just two year old. One area of growth is the use of gendered language. We are delighted beyond that by the smooth first experience of dentistry for our little. We look forward to watching the staff grow on use of gendered language and working with them for our childs dental needs. It is also appreciated that the TV/ technology wasnt in the initial waiting room and that there was no screen in our exam room.

Love this office! They are willing to work with me and hear me out with concerns about treatment. They dont rush to invasive or unnecessary sedation. They let parents in the room the entire time which makes parents feel better and secure. Ive tried other pediatric dentists in the area and was very disappointed with the treatment. Thank you acorn!

Highly recommend this place! My son is 3 and is a busy body. They have lots of fun games and activities for the kids to play with while waiting and while being seen, they let them watch a cartoon. This is a great place for children. With tablets on the walls and toys kids can play with while youre waiting to be called. In the dentist area for teeth cleaning and stuff there are TVs on the ceiling. kids get their own headphones and get to pick a TV show to watch. The staff is super friendly and very helpful.
