Appointment at 8:15 am arrived at 8:04. My daughter’s weight and height wasn’t taken unit 9:24 and still waiting in 2 shots just ridiculous at 9:34 am

Horrible wait times.We’re waiting 60+ minutes everytime we come in for an appointment just to be seen, while walk-ins are being taken in before us. When we ask the front desk, their excuse is that “the nurse is busy seeing other patients,” or that “we’re just waiting on a room to open up.”

After taking my children to Dr.Tennys office for over a decade, Im happy to say that I will no longer be happening. His staff isnt at all what they used to as far as productive goes. Billing is terrible, meaning shes clearly unable to code correctly or have any idea on how to read a insurance card that isnt Medicade. His nurses tend to be very aggressive now when giving shots. Dr Tenny had become very forward to children and that is unacceptable. Since Im in the medical field and have been for 15 years, Im leaving this practice and moving on to way better. Cant play with my kid, money or time.

I’m so done with Dr. Tenney. My 4 kids have been going to him since they were born. The last 2 years when I went to do the kids yearly wellness check ups. He flys threw the exams and brings up extra stuff about the kids and then I get a bill in the mail for stuff he brings up. Then I call to Dispute the charges and they won’t take them off. I’m done with taking my kids to Dr Tenney and will be taking them to another doctors office.

I had my daughters first appointment with a Spanish speaking doctor which I believe they send due to me being Hispanic. She talked to me like if I barely could read, she told me I should stop breastfeeding my daughter, like if it was even her call!All she did was turn me into a person who questions more than before.I do not want to be back there and anyone can blame me for that.

Love the Doctors there at that office... they really help out the community there... all the neighbors had good views for his office, so we made appt to come try for our newborn n we love the staff and especially the nurses in the back... they are our go health care office... thanks again....

Dr. Tenney and his nursing staff are the most kind and caring healthcare group around. Dr. Tenney has a heart of gold and he deeply cares about the health and well-being for not just his patients, but all of the children and families in the community!! I would highly recommend Dr. Tenney.

No one should have to wait almost 2 hours to be seen when you have an appointmentMight as well just put us in as walk ins !The staff needs to work on communication if they are running behind a nice “ hey we’re behind I apologize short staffed “ but nope they keep us waiting when we ask what’s going onThey are rude act like we’re impatient no we’re not we just been sitting down for a hour and half !!!

They are amazing I love Dr. Tenney he with my doctor the pediatric and all of me and my 10 brothers and sisters to I now use him for my children and myself and he is still the most amazing pediatric doctor that I’ve ever met in my life thank you Dr. Tenney for everything that you have done for me and my family from the Williams and Muhammad family.Keep being the amazing doctor that you are I know you’ve helped plenty of families thanks once again.

Ive been going to Tenney Pediatrics for years. I took my now grown children to Tenney Pediactrics and now my youngest. Wouldnt have chosen another pediatric clinic.Thanks Tenney and Associates for great service.

Today I brought my 2 y.o. daughter in for the first time as we are new to Missouri. We will NEVER be returning. There was ZERO bedside manner. The nurse just started doing her job with no introduction or interaction with my child. We saw Dr. Luna and she was nice enough but was clearly there just to do her job. Then when my child received her shots the nurse tried to have her just lay on the table as if she was going to calmly be stabbed in the leg two times, at which point my child reached down and pulled the needle out of her own leg!!!!! We were at the office a total of 2 hrs most of which was spent just waiting. I’m beyond disappointed in the service we received today. It was a joke and we will be seeking a different pediatrician.

After 8 yrs of bringing my kids to dr tenney I will be finding a new provider. What is the point of making appointments and coming on time just to be waiting an hr or more to be seen this is ridiculous

Very good location, office staff very professional. Above all you feel they honestly care how you and your child are. Ive worked in a Physicians office before.and I do know the front desk does represent the entire office. Doctors and Nurses are very professional and easy to approach with questions. I wouldnt want to take my grandchildren any where else!

Staff very nice and helpful. Easy to make appt.Had a long wait but Dr. Tenney was very nice, gave kids some books, stickers and a couple coins he brought back from his travels. Aside from being the nicest Dr. weve ever had for the kids, I really appreciate that when he asked if we do vaccines and I stated no, that was it. No berating, no hundred and one questions, no guilt trip. Just respect for our decision by saying nothing more and continuing the check up. Was just the first visit but would recommend him.

Dr Tenney is a good man, Great doctor ! He has been the doctor I choose to take my kids to for almost 5 years now. The staffing at Tenny pedatrics are always so nice to us. I feel really safe and treated very well.

Horrible wait times each time I’ve been in....like 1.5 hours which sucks with toddlers. Just behind the curve on everything. Spraying Lysol in the room before we enter to the point we can’t breath. Cheapos on the A/C which makes rooms super hot. Ugh....where can I find a decent pediatrician?

My kids have been seeing Dr. Tenny for 12 years. Today they got to see another Dr. Which was Mrs. Rachel, she did an excellent job with talking to us about health and wellness for our kids. Glad to have her with the office!

I have been Dr. Tenneys patient for 19 years now and I am more comfortable with him than my own parents. Hes a very good doctor who really knows what hes doing. Anybody who gives him less than 5 stars is an impatient person and doesnt deserve the kind of comfort and great service Tenney offers. 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 wouldnt go anywhere but there. (also it helps if youre not being an entitled little brat that thinks they or their children are more important. so if the staff is being rude.. its more than likely you caused it.)

Been here for 7 yrs got tiered of them never finding my children in their system. I have 4 children and they never have any of their records or insurance number unprofessional. After 7 years i will NEVER COME BACK!!!! If I could give 0 stars I would

Dr. Tenney was incompetent and spent no time with us. He was in the room maybe 3 minutes and then walked out before we were even done addressing our concerns. He was supposed to call in a script and never did. We called and called and eventually had to have the pharmacist call to get it accomplished. Honestly Dr. Tenney had no clue what was wrong with my child and we had to actually point it out after finding it out and reading about the situation online. The only reason we put up with his crap is so we could get a script. He needs to go back to med school and learn pediatrics again because he is far from an established Dr. His staff hung up on us 4 different times and one of his receptionists posed as a nurse when she wasnt. This office is a 3-ring circus with a bunch of clowns running it. Stay away from this joke of a medical office. Protect your kids from this place. What a joke!

The lack of communication at this office is really unfortunate, because the doctor/nurse staff is great! I arrived with my child at 3:09pm for a 3:30pm appt. At 4pm we were still waiting. It wasnt until going to the desk to call it out that someone thought to look into it. I was then advised they were waiting for a room, however, someone who arrived after me was taken back moments before and a room was available for them. Then, it switched to Well, the doctor has been running behind today. WHY NOT TELL ME THAT UPON ARRIVAL so I can make the INFORMED choice to wait or reschedule?! I am a working professional and had to leave work early for this appointment that never happened, as I had to leave to pick up other children. Communication is going to be the demise of this place. The one star is solely relative to the doctor/nurse staff, IF you get the chance to go back and see them.

All 3 of my children go here. I love Dr. Tenney and the staff. I love they have walk in hours daily. My only complaint is that they are sometimes running behind for their scheduled appointments.

I had a appointment for 1130. We arrived at 1055 due to the fact I was unsure of our appointment time. So I was ok with waiting until MY schedule time, but unfortunately the staff called everyone til the waiting room was empty....the staff was so interested in talking and meeting someone family members instead of providing services. I brought all my kids here I have never been treated like this in the past. All these new faces. Obviously they need to bring back former employees because the new ones need a refresher course in office manners. Very unhappy parent

Excellent Service. I dont know what this Jay Edgar guy is talking about. I went to Dr Tenney as a child and now send my children! Great Doctor!

He has been my doctor since birth and I love him and all the staff the building is very well kept.

Our appointment was at 10:45. We arrived and sat there for an hour and watched everyone that came in after us go in to see the doctor I asked at the 45 minute mark why am I just sitting here for this long period of time and was told that they were waiting for a room, well if that was the case why did the lady with three kids who came in after me get called in. So I got up and left and went to Walgreens where the wait time was zero minutes. I will never go back to this office or recommend any one to this doctor Go to Walgreens for your teenagers physical. Oh yeah I wont mention the unprofessional office manager who could just instruct me to continue waiting.

Unfortunately I shouldve listed to my gut during the second visit when we met Dr.Tenney. When he hardly looked over my child before his shots. I knew then if there was a semi-emergency as his primary doctor it probably wouldnt be handled effectively. So when that Semi-Emergency happened. I wasnt surprised when we were let down. We called our Primary doctor before we left the house. Of course it was walkin day. (Now considering if this had been any other day we would of called and asked for a Immediate appointment.) the secretary staff treated us as ordinary walk in patients while simultaneously passing us over for new walkin clients.(You can clearly hear people say stuff like No i just knew you take walkins and came in) Now this typically wouldnt make me upset. But we had a Non Sick toddler in a room full of sick people. Waiting for almost 2 hours. At this point I already know this appointment isnt going to go well and my child isnt a priority to his primary doctor or his staff. (mainly probably his staff)So we left. Called another doctor in our insurance network. Got in the same day, QUICK. We were in & out. As the doctor knew that only in Semi-emergency situations would we want to be seen quickly. That we would not just wait days until we could get a appointment for a antibiotic.Either way we have a new doctor.

Doctor tenny is amazing! He has seen all 3 of my kids since they were born and everytime I have been to the office I have felt like my concerns were addressed and they always get down to the root of the problem fast and get me out fast! The office staff is always kind and anytime I call and need to talk to a doctor they get them on the phone for me fast!

Lazy staff, dont seem to care about really helping people. They answered the phone hung up and then switched the lines to closed. Then while I sat in the lobby, they sat in back and ignored me. I could hear them talking and they ignored me and another person who was calling as well. Rude and unprofessional wouldnt recommend them

We have gotten charged for a wellness visit and a office visit for the for the same visit this is the second time this has happened this visit was only 15 minutes with the doctor had an 1hour and 45 min wait this place is a rip-off don’t waste your time.

Love Dr. Lee and Dr. Luna. They were really the only reasons I stuck with this office. The nurses and front desk receptionist are always kind. Dr. Tenney moves way too fast for my liking. I can hardly understand or keep up with how fast he speaks.We will be looking into finding a new office due to many reasons.The wait time to do anything is absolutely absurd. I understand low staffing and COVID protocols, but this had been happening long before the pandemic and has increasingly gotten much worse. I typically spend about 2 hours in the building just for a regular check up. The bathroom sink didn’t work. At least it didn’t the last time I attempted to use it.The entire office is HOT. Always. I leave drenched in sweat from trying to contain my kids for two hours.Anytime I call, I have to call 7-8 times just to speak to someone about making an appointment.They don’t accommodate deadlines of physicals for sports or conjoined appointments at CMH.I’m OVER it.
