Ive been a patient here since 2008. Dr Smith is the best dentist Ive ever been to. Most recently I had a root canal performed by Dr Smith. I felt absolutely no pain and even dozed off a couple times while it was being performed.

Best dentist Ive ever had and will continue to come here as long as they are in my insurance network. Very professional, friendly, and thorough.

Dr Smith and the staff are always pleasant and patient. He takes great care to explain procedures and keeps the experience as comfortable as possible.

Kristy Ham is the best dental hygienist in the Biz! Quick, efficient, and always a cool hand with sharp objects moving all about ones head. Seriously, a great dental group with a positive attitude. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten through the door without a laugh or two.

Dr. Smith is great. The staff, from the front office to the hygienist, are all very helpful and easy to talk to. I went to him on a recommendation last year... I’d give the same recommendation if looking for a dentist.

So thankful for this dental office and highly recommend them! We just moved to KC two weeks ago and my youngest had part of one of her teeth break off. After reading great online reviews and confirming they were in our network, I called Dental Designs. Not only were they able to get us in the same day to look at the broken tooth but, due to a cancellation, were able to do full exams for both my children. The front desk staff were wonderful both on the phone and in person, the hygienists were fantastic with the kiddos and Dr. Smith was friendly and took time to get to know a little about us and make us feel welcome. Thankful for all the great reviews that helped lead us to this office!

Amazing staff. Friendly, courteous and Dr. Smith truly cares about his patients. I went through many dentists in the KC area prior to finding Dr. Smith and I wish I hadnt wasted my time. He gives you no BS assessment and only recommends work when needed. Very trustworthy. Kristy and Chrisy are the 2 hygienists that typically take care of me and I couldnt be more happy with both of them. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned here.

My daughters two front teeth were broken in half in a school bus incident a few days ago and Dental Designs was able to fit her in the next morning. Our visit was incredible from check in to check out. She was very nervous and every single person that spoke to us was kind, sympathetic and so sweet to her. Dr. Smith was GREAT, he explained exactly what he was doing and kept asking her if she was alright during her procedure. The results were perfect and he called later that night to check on her, THAT is service! We are planning on returning to Dr. Smith for all our families dental needs. It has taken me a long time to find a dentist I really like, but this is it! Dr Russell and his staff are wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable and have worked hard to work out a plan for fixing my teeth and keeping them healthy. They are also really good working with the insurance company and I have never had any issues in that area either. I recently moved over 30 minutes away from the office (they are 30 minutes from work, also), but are still worth the drive in!

I just had my teeth cleaned and it was one the best experiences Ive had at the dentist! My Dental Hygienist was the nicest woman! She was kind and gentle and did an incredible job! The front office staff was kind and inviting and the dentist was great as well!

Wonderful staff, very clean and everything is sanitized. Patients are prescreened for Covid-19, temps checked before entering wait area, and seating arranged for social distancing. Ive been a patient of Dr. Grant Smith for many years and have always been well taken care of in a very friendly and respectful manor. My hygienist Kristy is very gentle and extremely focused during the cleanings, but also friendly at the same time. I give them all the highest rating possible!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Smith for over 10 years. Recently my daughter had to have 2 teeth pulled and Dr. Smith and his assistant were so patient, kind and professional. My daughter was extremely nervous and their patience and being willing to explain the entire process to her and make her feel comfortable were so comforting to me as a parent. What a great place. I had an issue with an implant, called the office and was able to get in right away.

I took my 3 year old son here for his first ever dental appointment. Amanda was fantastic! My son can be shy but Amanda had him smiling and enjoying his first visit! She blew up a glove for him and let him pick out a tooth brush and prize. She showed him all the tools and let him get comfortable with them. All the staff were smiling and friendly! After we left my son asked if we could go back! Highly recommend this place!

Dr Smith and his dental hygienists are great! Only place Ive been where I barely feel a thing! They always find any issues before it becomes a bigger problem. Let me start by saying that I have never felt so cared about by a dentist before! Dr. Smith took such great care of me, (I’m 29 weeks pregnant and needed a root canal) always checking in throughout my root canal, making sure I never felt pain and did such a fantastic job!He is VERY professional: took his time, was gentle, communicated with me about the procedure often, maintained a healthy and sterile environment, and even found an extra root that could’ve been easily overlooked by any other dentist in a hurry. Then he THANKED ME for finding it, saying it made his day!Seriously, I will recommend Dr. Smith to everyone from now on. It’s not often you find a person of his caliber in this world and I am seriously SO THANKFUL for him. Do yourself a favor and go to him. You will NOT be disappointed!!!

FYI Im extremely picky when it comes to my healthcare providers, especially when they make me wait for my appointment that I had to schedule 6 months in advance. With Dental Designs I have never had to wait in the waiting room more than 7 minutes for any appointment, the lone time I was late for an appointment they were very accommodating, and I was in the chair within 5 min of my late arrival. I recently had to cancel and reschedule an appointment I had no problem getting in within 2 weeks! Great staff, friendly doc, who is an avid Royals fan (not on the bandwagon). They do a great job and they get me in and out of there in a very reasonable time!

Great staff. Have been going twice a year since 1996, plus a few more times for other visits. Never had any pain during my visits. Great with little kids. They make sure you know what you will have to pay. I highly recommend Dental Designs. During this time with the virus, they are doing a great job. They call you before your appointment and let you know what will happen when you get to the office. They ask you basic health questions on the phone. When you come in they first take your temperature then ask you those same pre-screening questions. You sign the paper and you then wait in the waiting room with your mask on. Chairs are all spaced at least 6 feet apart.

Dr. Smith went above and beyond to help me get my broken crown repaired! He squeezed me into his busy day and also referred me to get a custom color done to make sure my crown looks just perfect! Thanks!
