Heather is 100% your girl. I have seen her twice now and have been blown away each time. For 3 months I had bad experience after bad experience until I found Heather. I told her I just want to be a red head and bam she made it happen. Then this time I told her I needed to color my hair safely to help protect my curls and a trim. She knocked it out of the park. She is a perfectionist and a master of her craft. You need Heather in your life for sure.

Since February 2021 I have been going to *Ginger* regularly(ish) every 6 weeks for Color. I have 3c/4a type Curly hair for reference. Even with the lightening and color process my hair has stayed healthy. I always leave happy and amazed! The process is quick! She doesnt work with multiple clients at a time! I recently moved to Virginia and I STILL came back to her for my color!

Tiffany is so wonderful to chat with and AMAZING at what she does. She took my thick brunette hair and did balayage with fantastic results. She also took the extra time to style it for me for my engagement photos later in the day. She’s the best, can’t recommend her and salon halo enough!!

I had the best experience with Tiffany! I had tape in extensions for the past year and have been wanting to make the switch to natural beaded rows for quite a while. I called the salon and Tiffany was so friendly and informative and was amazing throughout the whole process. Her salon is absolutely beautiful and her work is incredible!! Its a nice place just North of Downtown Kansas City. I booked my appointment online and they were ready for me within minutes of my arrival. I used to run a salon so I know it can be difficult to juggle schedules but Salon Halo seems to have it down. I had highlights and a cut done and a manicure and I am extremely satisfied with everything. Amy did a great job with the hair but I cant recall the name of the other lady who also did a nice job on the nails. It is a clean, professional salon and they treated me with respect.

Amy did a great job with the waxing, I had never done it before but I was sick of constantly shaving. I was timid about it because I heard stories but she explained everything and I have not had to shave in weeks! She also did a nice cut and color with red highlights that came out well. Nice people, pretty salon and they were constantly cleaning which made me feel comfortable.

Heather was absolutely amazing!! I have had such terrible experiences recently with other “stylists” in the past. I will not go anywhere else, I had such an amazing experience at salon halo! Everyone was very friendly and inviting, it was very clean and beautifully decorated. I was very nervous about what I was doing with my hair which was practically a total transformation. Tiffany was very helpful since I really have not done anything different with my hair for years. Its a really clean salon, everyone was wearing masks and they were cleaning after every customer which was nice. I usually dont review a haircut but she did a really nice job and deserves credit for such a nice woman owned small business.

Do not advertise you cut men’s hair when you cannot properly perform something as simple as a fade. My stylist was Amy Pering and I felt I was being rushed. I went in with high expectations and left with a botched fade that left the hair around my ear different lengths. She lacked attention to detail and consideration considering I was a new client of hers.

Heather does an amazing job on my hair! I’m a brunette and have never branched out to putting some blonde in until now and she makes it look super natural- she definitely knows what she’s doing. She’s also extremely personable so we have some great convos during our appointments. You can also tell there’s great camaraderie among the stylists who work there. Just overall a great atmosphere!

First time here and I will definitely be back. Megan got me in early and did a fantastic job - I usually hate my haircuts, but she was awesome, quick, and fun to talk to. Professional service in a really clean environment. Everyone was super COVID compliant even though it was busy.

I got a Deva cut done with Heather and she was amazing! She was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She did a great job with the cut. I love the shape of my hair and my bangs look fire!! I definitely will be going back and getting my hair colored!

This salon does not follow COVID regulations. Katie, my stylist, even had the audacity to tell me that someone not wearing a mask (with a mask mandate in place) is not illegal. I’m really not sure what she thinks MANDATE means. I ended up leaving the salon without my hair styled (still paid for the styling process, even though I didn’t receive it and when I have, it’s never been good) because I was so disheartened and uncomfortable. A halfway-decent haircut is not worth waiting 30 minutes past your appointment time to start and being reduced to tears because I feel unsafe just being in the building- y’all really shouldn’t have a sign that instructs customers to wear a mask if you’re going to allow maskless customers to sit in your salon and talk about how they’ve had COVID in the last 90 days. Truly terrifying for immunocompromised customers. Will be reporting.EDITED: after seeing their reply, I called Salon Halo multiple times to try to come to a resolution, only to find out that they blocked my phone number. My appointment was 01/14/2021 and I went into the salon on 01/16/2021 to have a conversation with Tiffany, the owner, about getting a refund or having my hair fixed. She refused to have a conversation with me and threatened to call the police on me- and said that this was because of my negative review. so their reply offering to fix my hair is BS. I also took a picture of their client not wearing a mask, which I have added here (covered her eyes so she cannot be identified)- so again, BS. BE VERY WARY.

Tiffany is absolutely the sweetest person ever! She’s an amazing hair stylist and always very accommodating! I have been going here for a few years and it is always very clean! During the pandemic they have made sure everyone entering and all staff wears a mask! I come in quite often and never experienced anyone not wearing a mask. They take the pandemic very seriously and ensure everyone feels safe! I definitely recommend this salon, I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I came to KC for my friends wedding and they treated all of us to a cut and manicure. I am in computers so I usually dont do manicures but it was nice and now I see why people do it. Tiffany helped us all schedule and they took exceptional care of the entire wedding party. Nice clean haircut for the wedding, I enjoyed it and I wishould they had a location in Indianapolis.

My stylist (Heather Ehrhart) was professional and accommodating. I usually go to a barber and was very picky/nervous about my cut request. She listens to the client and is VERY detailed. Highly recommend! The ambiance of salon is cool too

Heather is really special! I have thick, frizzy hair and I wanted a particular hair cut trim and thinning out. She delivered exactly what we discussed! She also did a great job doing a round brush blow dry and did not have to use a flat iron. Not a lot of salons do a good round brush blow dry in KC so I was really happy with that. You could tell that Heather is both very passionate and knowledgeable in her art, and she teaches you whatever you want to know really well. I would highly recommend her!

I rarely write reviews, but after the incredible deva curl cut and color I received from Dominique I wanted to show my appreciation. Not only did she take the one photo I vaguely referenced for highlighting my virgin dark hair and turn it into a magnificent version fit for me, but the hair has lasted several months! She works with expertise which I was almost skeptical of at first since she made it look so easy. The results were golden and glowing on my hair, and I have received endless compliments since. Finally, she is the best conversationalist and an authentic person to boot. Highly recommend!

I LOVE this salon! I had a deva cut with Dominique and I love her! My main goal for my trip was to get more of an understanding of the different Deva products and which ones I should use with my hair and she knows her stuff! She walked me through which products she was using, why I should use them, how I should use them, and the results I will have if I use other products. My curls look so good! I’m so happy I had the opportunity to work with her. I definitely recommend her to curly girls.

I went in for a deva cut with Ginger, who was late. Her service skills are poor, she was not friendly and acted like she didnt want to be there, I could tell she was rushing and cutting corners. The deva cut is a specific method of cutting curl by curl but she just sectioned my hair and cut it like any other stylist but dry. My hair is super uneven, she cut the top layer short on one side and it sticks out really bad, there is probably 6 between that layer and the next one. Ive styled my hair multiple times, and no matter what I do, it looks terrible. I dont like the cut at all, Im going to have to get it fixed, which just means cutting more off. As far as the rest of my service, after she cut my hair, she washed and conditioned, then had me flip over to apply product. She got a huge glob of gel all over my ear and neck, I think that was the only styling product she used, then had me sit under the dryer for about 10 mins with clips in my hair. She took the clips out, kinda twisted a few pieces, and then was done. My hair was still wet, she never checked the cut to see if it needed trimmed before sending me out the door, I think the whole service lasted maybe 40 mins. Im highly disappointed, I had wanted a deva cut for so long so I was really excited to finally get one, now I hate my hair.

I decided to “break up” with my old stylist who continued to damage my hair, forcing me to constantly cut length off when I wanted to grow it out. I was referred to Heather 3 years ago and she has saved my hair. During my first visit, she took the time to ask questions about my daily hair routine, products, goals, etc. I appreciated her thorough consultation. Ive been seeing her approximately every 8 weeks and Ive never left the salon disappointed. She is consistent, always on time, and has never cancelled an appointment. I totally trust Heather with my hair and would highly recommend her if you want someone help you reach your blonde hair goals :)

I can’t say enough good things about Ashley at Salon Halo! I had tape extensions for years and wanted to upgrade, Ashley told me about beaded row extensions and I was hooked from the minute she started talking. The process was so fast. My hair is AMAZING! She picked out different shades and blended them so great for me, and even gave me a mini tutorial on how to do a blow out. The beaded row extensions are so great because you can put your hair in a pony tail and it’s invisible. I’ve been scared to go to a salon for so long, but I’ve never felt so comfortable. My hair is the best it’s ever been! My extensions feel weightless and so soft and secure!!

Im not sure if I would call Ginger a magician or a miracle worker....in either case, shes AMAZING!! My only regret is that we didnt take before and after pics so I could show her unbelievable skill. Wish I would have found her years ago.

Heather was great to work with and took the time to listen to my hair needs based on lifestyle. She took the time to recommend products that would be best for my hair type and style. Just Terrible!! From the customer service to my hair cut to my blow dry. This place claims to know CURLY HAIR, but they REALLY don’t! There’s not enough diversity in KC to truly know ALL TYPES of curly hair. Plus the whole experience was just so awkward, she kept mentioning how much hair I have and how thick it is, well DUH that’s CURLY hair for you!! I expect a certain level of professionalism and GREAT results! This was not it! You just lost yourself a perfectly good & loyal client.

I had a pretty drastic hair transformation and Heather did an amazing job! The color and cut were perfect.

I just had my first experience with Ashley and got the Natural Beaded Row hair extensions. She did an amazing job consulting with me prior to make sure she completely understood the look I was wanting to achieve. We looked over pictures to decide if what I was wanting could be achieved. When my extensions were placed it only took an hour and 45 min and I walked out with exactly what I was going for!! My husband was so impressed when he saw me and I’m so happy with my new look!! Thank you so much Ashley!!

It is a pity that they always have issues when booking appointments.Even if they show it available, in the end, you just waste your time because regardless of the day or stylist they cancel or want to change confirmed appointments.If they do not have availability, why make it available and confirm it if they will always cancel/change.When it happened the first time I gave the benefit of the doubt but happening a second time I certainly wont do it a third time.

Love Salon Halo, especially Katie Hamlin! She is an absolutely amazing hair extraordinaire. She listens to your comments and concerns, then goes above and above your expectations as a stylist! I highly recommend her!

What Heather accomplished with my hair was only something short of a miracle or just plain MAGIC! I was turned away by other hairstylists because they didn’t feel they could make my vision come to life! Not only did she make my hair look like a dream but, she was so personable and just so much fun to talk to. If you want your hair done right, go see Heather!!

I found this place about 6 months ago and Im so glad I did! Heather is amazing! You can really tell through the whole experience that she really cares about the health of your hair. I would recommend her to anyone!

I’ve been going to Heather at Salon Halo for years now and I couldn’t be happier. She keeps meticulous notes which means when I come in and say I loved what we did last time she’s able to recreate it perfectly. She always understands what I need even if all I say is “I feel really meh right now and need a change.” She’s also just a really fun person and our appointments feel more like hanging out. My curly hair looks better than ever and I’ll definitely stay with Heather as long as we’re both in KC!
