I’ve been going to Shelby for several years and she is just the absolute best. Easy booking, pleasant atmosphere, skilled stylist. 10/10

Very friendly and Will does a great job cutting hair

I have curly hair and was anxious about trying someone new after 14 years of meh haircuts from my last place. Shelby was incredibly patient and asked tons of questions to make sure she fully understood what I wanted. I love that she focuses on natural hair and letting hair do its thing. I cant remember being this happy with my hair and I highly recommend Shelby and Speak!

Julie has been cutting my hair since about 2009 and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. I love how she starts with a dry cut, then washes, adds some additional cuts when wet, and then styles. Her cuts really help my wavy/curly hair fall nicely. The ambiance and style of her studio complement her impeccable styling skills, too. She’s truly the best!

Julie is so sweet and does such a nice job with my hair. Whether it is curly or straight it looks great! Shelby cuts my husbands hair and his haircuts look so nice! In fact, they both did our hair the week before our wedding. The salon has a charming aesthetic with easy parking. I look forward to getting my hair cut regularly 💇🏻 Thanks ❤️

Julie is amazing! Took my verbal babble of what I wanted and gave me exactly what I conveyed. She is a master of her craft, all inside a super clean and cute salon. Hip, but comfortable; great vibe. Highly recommend!

Shelby is the best! My hair is always just what I want and her attention to detail is second to none. Their color lasts and is a very natural look. I also love that they are all natural to keep those harsh chemicals out!

Plus, she always has good styling tips that are easy to do for those of us who dont know what to do with our hair! Best haircut Ive gotten. I wanted to dye my hair for the first time and I let the ladies there take charge and they did a great job. I have 0 complaints and Ill definitely go back next time I need a cut and dye job.

Speak is a hidden gem in the Crossroads. A soft, urban, hip vibe welcomes you at the door. I leave happy with my short cut every time. Speak is an easy salon to highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! It is a wholey unique place with a taste of yesteryear and a complete mastery of modern styles. Shelby and Julie are amazing and very knowledgeable. I have wavy/curly hair and prefer to keep it short, and it is tough to find a place that accommodates a mix of the two. Shebly, however, knows how to blend the two perfectly. She was able to give my hair an amazing shape and style that greatly works with my hair type; it is a hybrid of a pixie cut and an undercut.

Love the location, the atmosphere and the styist ladies are wicked great. Inviting, easy going, not an ounce of salon intimidation to be found! Im grateful to have found it and keep going back!

Two hair magicians work here. Did you know that? Ive always left happy. And I love their liberal agenda. LOL

Not too pricey, scheduling can all be done online, reserved parking in the back. They always have fantastic coffee while you wait. Sometimes they even have a box of wine in the fridge and/or donuts... Amazing.

Lovely place! I could spend 10-15 just looking around the store. Julie is wonderful. She gets it when it comes to my hair, which has been hard for me to find.

Cute salon with great stylists and cozy atmosphere. Very relaxing with complimentary beverage selection. Definately will return!

Best hair salon in town. No contest

I did not enjoy my experience at Speak. It is not advertised, but the business is a front for a liberal agenda and differing opinions are not welcome. In fact, they asked me to leave with an incomplete haircut when I told them I did not agree with their beliefs. I will not return.Additionally, beware of their reaction to negative reviews (see posted photos).

Im sure reviewer Colin managed to acquire an incomplete haircut because his Donald Trump bigoted views werent applauded when he went into a salon that didnt accommodate his tea bagging ways. I can only hope that he someday finds the complete hairKKKut he needs somewhere else in the Bible Belt.As for Speak itself, they are fantastic!
