Review №1

Partnering with Cabarrus Partnership for Children was the best decision Families First in Cabarrus County made, not for our nonprofit, but for the families and children we serve. Happy 20th Anniversary! This county is growing at a challenging pace for everyone and especially families with young children. You have help lead the community in making informed decisions over many years and especially during this population boom. We can say from our unique perspective that the Partnership demands, requires, and provides the needed support to both providers and families, so that the highest needs are being met with the highest quality of services, ensuring positive results. On behalf of 1000s and 1000s of families and their precious children of Cabarrus County, thank you for staying true to your mission over these 20 years!

The Cabarrus Partnership for Children has been instrumental in making a positive impact on Cabarrus County families with infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) by funding Project Baby Reach. Project Baby Reach provides support and education to families of babies born prematurely or with other medical needs.

This was once a great organization to be affiliated with a couple years ago, but this year (2017) they have changed for the worst. Im so disappointed they werent efficient at all with the time they allotted for placement in the NC Pre- K program. In no way should it take over 5 months to here a response back if your child was accepted or not. Its 10 business days prior to the first day of school (8/28) and they have not finished placement, yet theyre not doing any placement today or tomorrow (8/10- 8/11) and this is not the first time they took a break from placement since starting a couple weeks ago smh. My childs application was turned in and completed in March and hes completely eligible for this program, but Im still waiting to hear if he was accepted or not. No one in this office has a clue on when placement will conclude, a updated status on your application, or why they started placement at the end of July with school starting in a month. I will also report to the BBB because they are nonchalantly failing the kids in this community. How many eligible 4 year olds will have to go to a babysitter or another program because this one was operated so poorly? Its so disappointing because many families depend on these kind of programs and this place seems to care less about the community and the people who live in it.
