My visit with Victoria Welch, PA was perfect. I called early that morning and they got me in to see her quickly. She gave me a shot that got me back to normal. She listens, cares and prescribes the correct thing.

Went in to get on a medication for OCD and she just threw something random out there to me a drug called pristiq. I have never had any mood problems depression etc. After starting the 25 mg with in a week I begin to notice my mood lifted more and was like wow what kind of medications are these and again I was never depressed or had depression. So I called up over the phone to speak with a representative in the office and asked them to have Victoria to up my dose to 50mg thinking it make my mood go out the roof. Then she approved without wanting to see me first. Then I went too 100mg called did same thing. Without seeing me not warning me to give the medcine a fair chance to work for four weeks even before we upped it to 50mg the whole message behind this is I was thrown a pill for OCD and didnt know what I was doing requesting to go up on a snri over the phone without a in office follow up! First time ever been on pills And give me a pill that doesnt even affect the brain in any kind of way for OCD. Long story short I stayed on that 100mg to beginning of around Febuary 2019 before I accidentally missed two days and didnt know what was going on until that afternoon I got into the office and saw a nurse practinor named Amanda and said you missed your medication I was sitting in the office and couldnt pick up my arms colors on computer screens in office and my cell phone were vivid and had heart palpitations had to be picked up by parents. It took me 2 days to reatabalize on pristiq at 100mg. And scared me to the point that day I wanted to get off it. So I went in saw Dr Lester Brown and he did a rapid taper on me 100 to 50 then 50 to 25. In a 3 week period that is a 50% drop in tapers correct way is 5 to 10% drop hold 14 days he messed my brain up and still having problems to this day. I am currently seeking a 8 hour neurological brain test becasue of damage done to these drs stupidity. I DO NOT RECOMEND LESTER BROWN OFFICE OR ANYONE IN THERE. Except for Amanda if she even still works there!

Best doctor in NC. Very thorough, takes time to listen to her patients, very understanding.
