It was a very good experience it took longer than I wanted to get an appointment with him I understand dr. Brown is busy and his other pH also yes the nurses medical technicians everyone was very helpful and yes I would recommend them to friends and family

Dr. Brown has been my provider for over 15 years. He is the absolute best!!!!! My kids also see him. The only pediatrician they have ever seen was when I delivered and their first appointment. He is very attentive and knowledgeable to any and all questions or concerns we may have. I will not see anyone else, not because they are not good but I guess you can say I’m spoiled lol I’m comfortable with Dr. Brown (LGB). I trust him and only him and he knows this about most of his patients!!!! We do not play when it comes to HIM!!!! Lol

I honestly dont like seeing the doc or nurse. I feel judged and intimidated. Theyre usually trying to push pills on me instead of listening. But for the first time in my life, I didnt feel small. The staff were genuine and nice. Heather made me feel comfortable and her vibe was very comforting. She actually listened and I could tell tried to use words not to make me feel one way or another about what I came to visit for. Id definitely recommend this place.I never had to wait long, everyone seemed genuinely nice and as many times Ive visited the place, theyve been consistent.

Dr. Lester Brown is not only incredibly professional,he is kind,caring, attentive and brilliant. He has been our family doctor for over 14 years. We are truly blessed being under his care. Best Dr. EVER my 1st choice! Nice Staff and courteous and also respectful! He listens to my needs and concerns and always makes sure I understand my diagnosis before he sends me home! If I need refills or have questions I just message thru my chart and its taken cared of before I get off work! They are awesome I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thank you Dr. Brown & nurses & staff!

Dr. Lester Brown is a very caring and knowledgeable physician. I know that he gives me honest answers about my questions and concerns. Very pleased to he his patient for several years now.

Dr brown is truly unique, he gives you all the time you need, he never seems rushed or preoccupied with someone else while he is present with you. He is very up to date and will not force a treatment that’s not going to work for you, he can and does answer every question I have both while I’m in the office and at home via the patient portal. I travel 30+ miles willingly to see him, he is just worth every bit of my time and so much more. The only down side is because of his popularity and his ethics you will wait to see him. I try to make appointment first thing in the morning to minimize the wait or first thing right after lunch. Other wise you can end up waiting up to an hour to see him. However the wait is worth it!!

I have always had all my health needs met here. I love Amanda Upchurch and the nurses and most all the staff they have went out of their way to get me in when I need it.When I had covid and pneumonia they took good care of me.

Had my 1st visit with Kannapolis Family Medicine today. All I can say is they are AMAZING!!! I saw their NP Amanda Upchurch. I have never had a doctor that is as thorough and caring as she! I feel totally confident in her with my medical concerns! Everything is one stop at this office. Labs, x-ray etc. Everyone there was super!!! If youre looking for a good doctors group, this is it!!! A++++!!!

Awful service. This is suppose to be HEALTH care. Went in for a problem and got an antibiotic which had a major allergic reaction.spend all day to try and let the office know and NOBODY would return my call waited till the ed of the day and had to bless someone how for them to tell me to stop all meds and to take Benadryl 24 to 48 hours and that they are not going to give another antibiotic until my test results come back. So 48 hours later Im allergic reaction gets worst I call the office and let a messge with the nurse (this is on a Friday BTW ) nobody bothers to return my call, my pharmacy happen to call saying I had a new antibotic which was for the 1st reason I when in the there my test results had came back nobody never call me to explain what the the results were or anything come Monday A nurse calls explaining my results and that they are calling a antibotic in which I had already picked up Friday!!!!! She said waited to make sure we take caution since I had an reaction from the last antibotic I explain to her I am still having trouble alot of trouble from that I had try to get help earlier she said she would talk to the doctor that she had seen where I had called and nobody has yet to called me. When you cant we eat and /or has a bad skin reaction reaction from a medication to a medication you would think a doctor would care a little more

Dr. May Royer is an outstanding physician. She is kind, knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The only drawback is going through their call center. In order to get a message to your physician or nurse, is next to impossible. But once you get through, usually you can get someone to understand, what you need is.

I called last week to make an appointment to get my son his required immunizations for the upcoming school year. I was informed at the time that he was up to date for one of them, but did require the second one along with another. They made the appointment for the next week, which is why Im giving the extra star. I had to take out of work for the 8am appointment, which is what it is. No worries. We checked in just before 7:45, but at 8:15 I decided to give them 5 more minutes before I asked what the holdup was since I needed to get to work. Just then a lady calls me to the counter to inform me that my son was in fact up to date on the immunizations I called about and the Dr. wants to wait until his next appointment for the other one. This information should have been given to me when I originally called so as not to keep me out of work for no reason. I dont know how the doctors are so this is not a reflection on them, but this was very inconvenient for me this morning.

I highly recommend this experienceDr. Brown was so helpful- that now Dr Brown , Amanda and whole staff treat our family of four- the receptionists are terrific too- somehow they remember and accommodate everyoneMy daughters 15 and 17 started with this practice at age 6months and 2yearsThey treat everything from sports physicalsto monitoring my more serious condition-With my condition, the office is able to take x-rays, control and monitor my medicationsAs well as make referrals to specialists when neededThey also accommodate with early appointments.

Terrible patient care. Unhelpful and Rude people answer the phones, appointments dont run on time, etc. I went here twice for appointments and both times were a nightmare. When I needed a refill they told me I had to come in but didnt have appointments for 2 months out. There is more to review but Ill leave it at - this is the dollar-store of medical care. Do NOT put your health in the hands of these uncaring people. Also, the last time I was here people were dumpster-diving out back. I told the person at the desk and she just laughed and said they are always looking for drugs. Seriously. This place should be shut down.

I really love the staff they are super nice and helpful but if you need to be seen quickly or same day your most likely out of luck.

Yes, you often have to wait for the doctor, but he spends all the time necessary to serve you appropriately. You are not just a number and you are not run through as if a timer is about to go off at any minute. Ill make that trade any day.

They never answer there phone. Even after lunch hour. Thats no good. I would not recommend this place. Choose another doctor! If you dont listen to my advice youll wish you did!

Victoria Welch isnt knowledgeable. 1st she took me off of beta blockers(bp medicine) cause it was too low But I had jitters so she prescribed me a beta blocker lol the same medicine she told me to stay away from but said it would help with my jitters and anxiety smh. I mean my BP was already 80/50. Like come on🤦🏽‍♀️😲Secondly she allowed me to walk around for nearly 2 months with a sinus infection left untreated that started gradually raising my BP back up to abnormal levels & my BP machine detected an abnormal heart rhythm cause my body was trying to fight off the infection itself. I went to an atrium health urgent care cause my BP was high & the doctor took one look in my ear & said boom you have a sinus infection. Your left ear has fluid in it & i said thats funny cause I just seen my doctor & she noticed fluid in the same ear but didnt treat it. Threw my symptoms off on acid reflux issues & he laughed so hard & said did she tell you your ear was really pink? I said no & he explained to me thats why my BP was going back up & my heart rhythm was off. Im a week in a half off the medicine & now my BP has gone back to what it was along with my heart rhythm. Sweet girl but lacks knowledge

The Doctors and PA are amazing, with a wonderful bedside manner. Very caring individuals.The wait times are ridiculous. They have forgotten that my wife was in the waiting room after she showed up for her scheduled appointment, leaving her to sit there for 6 hours. I personally have never gotten back to see the doctor with less than a 1 hour wait in the lobby, and another 30 min wait in the exam room. Dont call with a question, as you wont get a call back. Its sad that they overbook appointments in the way that they do, having a doctors appointment is a guaranteed way to lose an entire days work.

The staff is very nice and I love our doctor. BUT, it absolutely takes FOREVER to be seen. Ive never been able to get out of there in under 2 hours, even though weve always shown up on time or 5-10 mins early. Takes 40 mins just in the waiting room and another 40 waiting for the doctor. If you cant see someone for an hour and a half beyond their appointment time, why bother scheduling them at that time? Its just ridiculous. I understand that sometimes things come up but this is the norm for this place.That said, the people are nice and our doctor is fantastic. They just really need to work on being more respectful of peoples time.

I cannot speak any higher of Amanda Upchurch than I already do now. I have been seeing her for 9 months and every time I see her I feel more and more reassured with my situation. She is very thorough, compassionate, and educated. My lord is that woman educated! I have always had an uneasy relationship with health care providers and being 21 I needed someone I can trust. I drive 45 minutes to see Mrs. Upchurch and I plan to keep it that way. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is becuse I had a rough situation a month ago where I really needed help and the receptionist I spoke with told me I could see her in 3 months to address it. I took a same day appointment with a different provider where she told me that everything I’ve been working towards is for nothing, that I had an eating disorder because I’ve been stressed and I’m losing weight, when really I love food. And any time I tried to correct her she said “you have an eating disorder”Saw Upchurch today and she made my previous experience right with her attitude and service. She is thorough, kind, caring, smart, honest, and accepting, as all health care providers should be. I cannot put into words how thankful I am to have her as my PCP.

Dr. Brown and Nicole, the NP are great healthcare professionals but dont come here if time is an issue. Forget about dropping in to be seen as well.Its taken as long as 2 hours for me to get in and out with a scheduled appointment because they pack so many people in. Add in the nurse interview and being seen for 10 mins(max) by the doc and you have a wasted day or afternoon.They act like it takes an act of God to work you in and then they tell you that you are restricted in what they will do for you if you come in before your regular maintenance appointment. That is a money grab if Ive ever seen one.Todays healthcare is a farce with the added restrictions placed upon the consumer.Im actively looking for a smaller practice so that I can actually be seen when I have an issue.

Saw me same day as a new patient. Other offices had months waiting and I had a fever of 101 when taken in the office. They saved me a lot of money by not having to go to the ER. I thank them.
