Great place and beautiful. Very relaxing to hang out by the fire and just watch the scenery. Only thing I wish the signs were on the road would of passed by the place if my friend car hadnt shown me where it was.

This has always been a family favorite. Its a good size beach with plenty of space to spread out. The water condition is nice, though cold haha they also have great covered picnic areas if you get there in time to snag one. Also, one side of the beach is more rocky, perfect for tide pool hunting and seashell collecting, while the other side is more sandy, better suited for digging and bare feet.

A great place to relax or enjoy time with friends or family, Auke rec is part of a Microclimate which generally lends fairer weather than anywhere else on the island. Complete with fire pits, a restroom, a beach and gazebos it is an ideal quick escape

Beautiful. Its a great place to take kids to let them play. You can also walk your dog... just please remember to clean up after them.

Great place. Good parking and lots of places to spend the day. Different pavilions with cook ring grills.

Good place to go for a walk. Terrible for fishing. You wouldnt like this spot.

Trails, clean covered tables and a bathroom, nice views of water and surrounding nature.

Beautiful spot. Stairs to get to the beach are not in the best shape and there was some trash on the beach.
