I appreciate the thoughtfulness in the office. Dr. Matey was pleasant and to the point. Gave me a cortisone shot after reviewing my issue. Back in a month for follow up.

I arrived looking for orthotics I had ordered and paid for six weeks prior. The office phone number was not answering correctly, so I drove to the office to Try to locate my orthotics. Two men were waiting in the waiting room. It was 930 and they were still waiting for 9 o’clock appointments. Dr. Matey finally flew in and said, “I shouldn’t be here; I’m supposed to be on vacation.” When one of the men said he made an appointment the day before he said, “Well, I would like to hang the person you made your appointment with by their toes because I’m supposed to be on vacation.” He shuffled each man into a room very rudely and then asked me what my problem was. I explained that I would like to have the orthotics I had paid $350 for on June 12. To say he was rude is an understatement. I left the office and told him I hope that he would have a better day and he retorted, “I doubt it.” I proceeded to secure a refund and I will never go back to this office to see this miserable human being. I called my insurance company and reported the incident and have a new referral to see a new podiatrist. Obviously, Dr. Matey does not need patients when he treats them like garbage.

My visit has definitely had some frustrations, but Dr. Matey was very kind and Erin has been very sweet in trying to smooth things over for me.Hopeful for a smoother follow up, but very nice team.

Didn’t enjoy my experience at this office. My interaction with Dr Matey was at max 5 minutes. He looked at my feet for less than 2 minutes, told me my legs were unequal lengths and just recommended I use $300 shoe inserts to solve the issue. Then he was gone. I reluctantly decided to purchase the inserts (which they made me pay for upfront). 2 months went by and I heard nothing. When I called to check on them, I was told they couldn’t help me and I needed to call back another day. I decided to give up and I filed a claim with my CC to get my money back. Don’t waste your time with this doctor...feel like he is just out to make money on inserts.

Dr. Matey was wonderful! If I ever have any feet issues I will definitely come back to see him. The front desk women were also very nice and friendly. Also, I was self pay and he was very reasonably priced 😁I would recommend him to anyone.

We had a bit of trouble finding the place because the large sign over the door says Edward Jones Investments. The smaller sign for the clinic is next to the door. But service was quick and efficient, and the doctor was knowledgeable.

Wonderfully individualized care. Always loads of explanation, recommendations, then the pause to see if you have any questions. Good old fashioned healer rather than the churn em in churn em out factory style becoming so common. If he needs extra time with you, he takes it. The entire office staff is wonderful. If Karen or Gretchen say theyll call you back with an answer or to schedule, they DO it. One of the best doctors in the region and it shows. Gets results!

Great care. Dr Matey was able to diagnose the problem I had and start a rehabilitation program the same day.Dr Matey is an excellent podiatrist. He and his staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. Their care is excellent. I highly recommend Dr Matey for any problem with your feet.

Always have problems at this office!! Over charges!

I took time off work and scheduled an appointment for what I thought was the atlantic location. I show up and they are closed. I called the number again and they said they were at the Bartram location. I explained the situation and they couldnt fit me in. Very disappointing that they did not confirm which of the 3 locations was open. They need to be more thorough on their calls for their patients. I will not come back here again.

Dr Matey takes the time to interact ask questions and use visuals. He is easy to talk to and wants to make sure he understands the problem/issue thoroughly. Very grateful that he has the ability to engage and assist whether the client is young or old.

Appointment was 8/26 receptionist took my HSA card for $350.00 inserts but had me under a totally different name???? Then Dr Matey comes in to me complaining about his patients just walking in for appointments and his staff not handling the situation. Very unprofessional and left me feeling very uncomfortable and unappreciated as a patient. I called for weeks checking on inserts that were to be 6 weeks. I called...they did not call me. When I called the 3rd time, I left a voicemail inquiring about the inserts. Appointment was 8/26, $350.00 taken out of my account 8/30. Finally received a callback on my voicemail for Joe....cannot seem to get my name right and advised my inserts were expected end of week. This was week of 10/27. No call! (Surprised? NOPE!) I called today as no word yet Friday on inserts. Was now advised inserts arent yet in......advised refund my money, and advised of unprofessional behaviors and lack of feeling that I was a patient in their office. Wouldnt recommend this office to anyone.
