Amazing surgeon! I couldnt have asked for a better surgeon; he listened, answered questions, and explained everything very well. We felt very comfortable setting the surgery up with him. Everything went as expected.The staff is delightful. Dr. Carlsons Surgical Scheduler (Kim) is one of the best. She explained to us the process of getting surgery scheduled. She gave us all the information, and there were no surprises when checking in for surgery. Dr. Carlson performed my surgical procedure. He was extremely detailed when he explained the surgical process and what I should expect after the procedure. He addressed my concerns and answered all of my questions. He made me feel comfortable and his bed side manners are top notch. I would highly recommend Dr Carlson for anyone that have ear, nose and throat concerns.

I am a new resident of Jacksonville, coming from a different town in Florida.I called Dr. Carlson’s office to schedule an appointment because my ears get impacted with wax and it is hard to hear.Regardless, I was told the first available appointment for a new patient was mid-November. That said, I called back because I just couldn’t stand my ear problem anymore and the front desk person said there wasn’t anything they could do so go to the emergency room.Seriously? $500 co-pay to clean out my ear.Dr. Carlson, I do not know you but I called because you received good reviews.Honestly, your office could do better.Needless to say I found someone to fix my ear issue.

Dr. Carlson was great. Very thorough but didnt request unnecessary procedures or medicine. I felt very comfortable talking with him. He answered all of my questions and was great at communicating. He was so good that Im making my husband switch ENT docs! I highly recommend him.

Made an appointment. Filled out paper work in advance. Showed up 15 minutes early with all my documents and insurance info. Waited my early 15 and 45 minutes more for a total of an hour before I left.A patients time is valuable too, although of course we are not trying to see the max number of people a day so we can bill more.Also, if a person isnt feeling well, making them wait an hour is not just disrespectful, its cruel.

Dr Carlson is the best ever. He listens...hes very understanding....takes his time and never makes you feel rushed. He is very kind and patient and has a great sense of humor. My daughter and I love him! Wish their were more Drs like him.

I have been seeing Dr Carlson for over a year for throat cancer and related illnesses. Its been a hard fight but Dr Carlson was normally there. I saw Dr Carlson on July 13, 2020 and after being scoped for the 10th time this year, Dr Carlson ordered new meds and a follow up in 2 weeks.On July 14, 2020 I had hernia surgery and after went to CVS to pick up my meds and they werent there. I called the office 3 times and left a message.On July 15, 2020 Still not having my meds I called the office 4 times and left messages.On July 16, 2020 I called the office in the morning and talked to the nurse who said, I needed to call CVS that it was sent there. I tried to explain to her that I just called CVS and there was no medication. I asked her what I should do and she told me, SHE DIDNT KNOW.After 3 hours of calling to CVS and my primary, I got an alert from CVS that the medication was now there and I could pick them up.On July 17, 2020 I called the office and talked to the office manager and tried to get her to understand my situation and was told that TIME IS THE BEST HEALER and I should just let TIME cure me.On July 18, 2020 I got a letter in the mail saying that cause of my behavior, they were discharging me from their practice.Dr Carlson needs to remember he told me during our visit and a visit that I recorded, that my situation is above his paygrade.. and he might need to send me ELSEWHERE.Why must Drs believe they can treat people like this??

Wonderful staff.. I was a new pt when making the appointment they got me right in.. had surgery on the 7th and follow up on the 14th Dr Carlson did a great job taking care of me. He explained what he would be doing he listen to me he ask did I have any question.. would recommend Dr. Carlson office.

Dr. Carlson did my neck surgery to remove a lymph node that was benign. He also did rhinoplasty to help with my allergies. He is very courteous and caring. He is polite and true to the facts. He lets you know if something is going to be a waste of time or not . For example I have tonsil stones now and instead of picking them for a year or more he suggested to cut out all the aggravation and time and just get them removed. I agree. Another surgery here I come. My first surgery went very well. I just dont do well coming out of anesthesia.

Dr Carlson is very personable, a patient listener, explains your issue well and is efficient without making you feel rushed. I would highly recommend him. The rest of the staff is also friendly and accomodating.

Dr. Carson performed trach surgery on my Papa and saved his life and followed his care until release. He is an amazing doctor and surgeon.I just recommended my daughter to see him for her ear nose and throat issues.God bless this doctor and his staff. He has healing hands.

Buyer Beware! Dr. Carlsons office charged me $170 for a Q-tip!!! Dr. Carlson used a Q-tip in one of my ears to remove a small amount of wax so he could see into my ear better. Apparently this is considered a medical procedure. This medical procedure was performed on me without me being informed that this would be an additional cost. Whats next...$100 cotton balls?!?Update 7Aug2018Unfortunately I have tried contacting the office on multiple occasions only to get the run around. They are all nice and polite however, no one in the office is able to explain the charges to me. I am told they are not responsible and I will need to speak to someone else. This continues until I end up right back where I started.

Dr. Carlson is a very knowledgable, thorough and compassionate physician. He quickly diagnosed my medical issue on the first visit (4 years and several other doctors later) and swiftly put a plan of action into place. Dr. Carlson performed a surgery on my throat and now I can breathe and exercise and I have no anxiety from lack of breath. His practice is truly a Godsend.

Dr.Carlson is awesome. I have been having sinus problems since I was a teenager.when I went and seen he diagnosed Me and did my sinus surgery in 2 weeks. Most recently I had my tonsils removed by him to and he was awesome and took very good care of me, from start to finish of my surgery. Im so glad that my pcp refered me Dr.Carlson as my ENT doctor!!!

I lost half a day of work and could not see the doctor because according to the person in the office he had called me because he had problems with insurance but it is not true, when they check my insurance in the office they tell me that I need a referral from my primary doctor, which is not true either according to my medical It was a terrible experience, the customer service is very bad and their credibility is even worse

Although I had an appointment to see Dr. Carlson, I never actually saw him. I had a 10am appointment and after being kept waiting ninety minutes, I opted to walk out and find another doctor. In my opinion Dr. Carlson has no respect for his patients time, and therefore, no respect for his patients. October 11, 2018
