I have only had one visit so far, but first impressions are very important. Staff was very polite and courteous- even though I ran late. (My apologies- first time there). My appointment did not take very long, but the Dr. Madden was straight to the point. Hopefully testing will bring good news!

Very welcoming staff appointments are hard to come by but well worth the wait. Dr kimbach and the staff were super courteous and very knowledgeable regarding injuries. They really are the best for getting you back up and running

I was referred to this place by my PCP. What a waste of my time!!! If you want services, make sure you lie on your forms or you won’t get any help. Apparently honesty, ethics and integrity are frowned upon. Still have the same pain I’ve had for 7 months but at least they refunded my co-pay!!!

I have been going there for years and have always been treated so well. They are a well qualified friendly group. Dr. Picerno is awesome clinically but also so caring and personable. Wait times in their office are pretty minimal.

Extremely knowledgeable with a great bedside manner. He took the time to explain what he found and provided several proposals for treatment. I felt very comfortable with him and the treatment plan. Knowledge doctors and they specialize in different body parts so they seem to know a lot about the specific joint. I currently see 3 different physicians at JOI and am happy with each of them.

In a very short amount of time I have had the opportunity to interact with office staff, physical therapists, and ortho surgeon. Every interaction was pleasant, professional, and helped me learn. I appreciate all that they do!

As busy as she probably was, she spent probably 15-20 minutes trying to get me in to see a certain doctor, who had a full schedule, earlier to better fit my schedule. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves

This place is phenomenal. I arrived at my appointment 25 minutes early, was in the room waiting on the doctor at my appointment time. They We’re very busy at the time and still got in time frame.I waited five minutes in the room, at the most. I talk to the Doctor, Who was very knowledgeable of my situation. Dr. knew exactly what my problem was. Without giving me any excuses of what it might be or what it could be. He knew exactly what it was thankfully. I came in there a year ago feeling like a was going to never be able to regain my mobility and active lifestyle. I cant thank Dr. Perry and the team at JOI for giving me my life back. They are very patient focus and adjust services to your individual needs.

Been trying to make an appt. for days. No one answers the phone. I can only hope the doctors hear about this so they can fix the problem. Office workers dont care. We even went to the Baptist South location on day 4, when no one answered and were told they cant help us. They said to keep trying to call.

Staff was Very Friendly and efficient. Dr was very Nice and informative. He helped me to better understand my medical needs. I would recommend this institution to anyone needing orthopedic treatment.

Dr. Lance Snyder came highly recommended-----he did the surgery on my wifes broken elbow----it healed perfectly with no issues since then whatsoever, and the scar is barely visible. I went to his office for my shoulder pain, and he is super attentive and thorough. Excellent orthopedic doctor and office.

Horrible!! I dont understand why they have such high reviews. I have been waiting for over a week just to get an appointment to see a doctor for my broken arm! Every time I call I have to wait on hold for half an hour (or longer) just to talk to a so called “scheduler” who knows nothing and cant actually help me. After waiting on hold they tell me they are going to have to call me back because the doctor has not yet reviewed my case, but they never call me back and so far no one has reviewed my case. Ive had a broken arm for over a week and I have yet to see a doctor. They dont seem to care that I am walking around with an unprotected broken bone, or that I am in pain! I would get better medical care in a third world country! Whatever you do, dont let them refer you to this horrible office!

I was impressed with the efficiency of the office. The process was within a reasonable amount of time including an x ray. I did like the doctor and his plan for me.

Just as was the case during my appointment four years ago at the San Marco location, the facility was bright, clean, efficient and user-friendly! The staff was superb, knowledgeable, prompt and concerned. My appointment was informative, supportive and comforting. While I’m facing a rather challenging Reverse Total Shoulder Replacement Surgery, I came away completely confident with the ability of Dr. Picerno and the experience of the entire staff! Quite frankly, the visit was top-notch, start to finish!

Doctor was informative and confident. I have a level 3 AC shoulder brake and separation, from a fall down stairs-case. Dr. Snyder explained the procedure he would preform, from looking at X-Rays. He felt we were still in need of MRI, to check rotator cuff and labrum. Depending on those results, we will proceed with surgery. I have complete confidence in Dr. Snyder ability. His description of the procedure put myself and my husband both at ease. Grateful to have been directed to Dr. Snyder form the ER Physicians.

Dr. Steinberg took time to review my x-rays followed by examining my shoulder. He determined an inject would take care of my shoulder pain an had a physical therapist show me exercises to do at home. He is an excellent physician.

Dr. Steinberg and his entire staff are phenomenal. Dr. Steinberg was very prompt, very pleasant, and povided an outstanding level of medical care. I was impressed with how well the entire process flowed from check-in, minimal wait time to be called, to the intiial consultation, x-rays, to reviewing the findings with Dr. Streinberg. I was in and out in a relatively short amount of time.I would strongly recommend Dr. Steinberg and his team. They have definitely earned by respect and my trust.

I didnt have to wait very long and everyone was very professional. Kristen, who I had seen 7 years ago ago at JOI, asked me what was going on and cut to the chase and sent me immediately for xrays. I had been to JOI several times in the past, and going back after 7 years should say something.

Walked out after sitting in a room for an hour without anyone coming in to check on me. This is my 3rd, and hopefully last time, I have visited, with 2 negative visits. First time was for “therapy” for my pinched nerve (thanks to wonderful insurance plans), but the young technician input some information into an electronic form on his tablet, only to be told to perform some stretching exercises; I already knew I had disk issues, and stretching certainly wasn’t going to alleviate that.Second time was to finally get a MRI on the area, and that appointment went as scheduled. But today was supposed to be a review of the MRI, and after arriving early, getting paperwork updated, and paying the co-pay in advance (odd, but you can’t dispute it), waited for just a few minutes before being taken back to a room where some pre-screen questions were asked. Cool, things were rolling smoothly. So, I’m waiting, reading emails, playing some games, texting with my wife, 30 minutes had gone by. My butt was getting sore for sitting so long, I even stretched out the chairs to nap. Got up, stuck my head out the door, and no one was in sight. Slammed the door shut, waited longer, and then after an hour had passed sitting in that damn room and waiting for someone to tell me something, went out to the desk, told them to clear the room because I was leaving.Called my credit card to cancel payment, but must wait 24 hours, which is understandable. But they too thought it was weird to pay upfront before being seen. Seems like they’re use to running people off, so they make them pay up front. Just bad time-management and lack of communication between patients and staff. But I did hear some people in the hall discussing some personal affairs, so I’m glad they make time for that.

I absolutely loved the staff. Even though there was a long wait to see the doctor every staff member from the front desk receptionist to the nurse and the back to the scheduler gave me outstanding service as well as Compassionate Care and helping me with what I needed. The X-ray tech was just as professional and compassionate. I have hands that are very hard to take an x-ray of he was very patient caring and whenever a position didnt work he took the time to find a position that he was able to take an x-ray and I will not be hurting or be uncomfortable while he was taking the x-rays

I called as a new patient & they were able to get me scheduled right away. The whole process was super quick and simple. The facility was clean and very well organized and the best part, MINIMUM WAIT TIME from check in to exam! The entire staff was super nice, especially Dr Madden! She explained everything to me and took time to answer all my questions! Def would recommend.

Appointment postponed twice. Then brought in early on the day of appointment. But I have to meeting the doctor, getting my diagnosis and immediately getting a cortisone shot made it all worth it.

The check in process was fast and efficient. Everyone was nice and professional. My appointment went on time, on schedule. I was in and out in less than an hour, which was good considering that included getting x-rays.

I feel very Blessed to have Dr Picerno for my Orthopedic Surgeon. He explains everything in detail and answers any questions you may have. I felt very confident going into surgery which made the process less stressful. Dr. Picerno and Staff are Wonderful and kind and I appreciate all that they have done for me.

I could not even make an appointment with them, they didnt want to see me since I transferred from the other state. I had the records on CD, but they would not make appointment until i transfer records by Fax only!I made an appointment with a different orthopedic clinic, they made an appointment and just asked me to bring a CD with me to an appointment.I tried to transfer the records through fax but it wasnt complete, they Jacksonville orthopedic Institute didnt even bothered to call and let me know that they didn’t receive it. Meanwhile my hard cast had to get removed after the surgery that was done out of state so my leg could heal properly

Was able to schedule an appointment the week after I called. Nice new office with friendly helpful staff. Dr Phillip Bell replaced my husbands hip without cutting any muscle. He has made a super quick recovery. For me, Dr Bell was able to give me nonsurgical relief for knee pain. I would highly recommend JOI.

After dealing with Lincare for over a week, them saying they didnt get faxes, Jenny had confirmation numbers, and horrible rude people on the phone Jenny came through. She kept in touch with us through this nightmare and was so very helpful. With her help we finally got Matrix Medical to help us. They are on it. You have a real gem in Jenny. Shes great. The moment that I checked in I feel a kindness. I so needed that because I had been through a lot the last four days with the dislocation of my finger. Everything ran smoothly, the appointment was right on time which I like. Each and every employee with over-the-top friendly you didnt want by you without speaking and acknowledging you were there.

Just left there without being treated. Doctor looked over my MRI and made me do a movement that almost made me fall down. Ive been waoting 3 months to be seen due to workman comp. Doctor would not prescribe pain medicine instead prescribes ibuprofen and sends me on the way. Some people like myself need to work and make a life for ourselves. Im hunched over all day and I cant be properly treated makes me sick. I could lose my job and everything ive worked towards because they would rather cover there own butts and not take care of someone who needs it. I have been there before and things were great. Now Im really just disappointed and disgusted at the non treatment ive received. 2020 continues on. Thanks for nothing.

For such a large Office, youd think they could answer the phone after 20 minutes. They must need more employees.

Dr Picerno is a great doctor. He spends time listening to you and does not rush you. Staff is very friendly, helpful and efficient.

The staff here are SO kind and caring! There wasn’t any wait at all when I went, I felt very comfortable the whole time and Doctor Solis made sure to answer all of my questions/concerns and didn’t rush me at all. He’s done two surgeries on me and both were outstanding and I feel so much better now! I highly recommend him or any other doctor in there as well. The staff is also very sweet!

My first time at JOI was great! This is an extremely efficient practice. I filled in all my paperwork online and was checked in within 3 minutes of arriving for my appointment. The team was very polite, screened me for COVID and before I had a chance to “wait”, I was called back to the exam room. Another great engagement with a second team member who entered orders for x-rays. The x-Ray tech swiftly escorted me for images and then the doctor came into exam room about 5 minutes after I returned from x-Ray. Dr Madden was EXCELLENT! She washed her hands upon entering the room asked me a few questions, did an exam and shared my radiology images with me. She was quick with her diagnosis (which was what I expected), she told me how she could help and I was extremely grateful. An athletic trainer came into the room explained the DME that was prescribed for me and then Dr Madden came back and gave me an injection - it didn’t hurt a bit. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Madden and JOI.

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Vu. She was very thorough in taking my medical history, asking questions about current concerns and recommendations for further care. The reception area was very clean and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

Love Dr. Solis! I have never had this type of injury or any injury in my 30+ years so I was a little nervous and thinking surgery. Everyone was telling me their worse case scenario of insanely long recovery and I was freaked out for sure. Upon review of xrays and MRIs, Dr. Solis took a conservative approach based upon my lifestyle (2 kids under 5) and pain level (improving) which made me feel good. I really appreciated the time he spent with me and was happy leaving in my brace. Road to recovery, here I come!
