My five-year-old was told that we needed an exam. I took her to this place she had to sit on my lap the majority of the time because she was too short to reach the machine and she kept getting told to sit still sit still and I was trying my best to keep her still but unfortunately she’s five.Then when we finally did get to see the doctor there were a bunch of shapes and stuff that even I wasn’t familiar. The shapes use seem to be a little outdated I had to take a really good look to make sure that I was looking at a car instead of something else. I feel like my daughter may have been missed diagnosed due to the fact that she’s five years old she still learning shapes letters and stuff like that.She has a really thick Prescription to the point where I may need a second opinion. The situation was rushed because I was not aware that the exam was going to take about two hours I had a another engagement so the whole situation was rushed on my part and I feel like there was not enough consideration of my daughters age and her ability to recognize shapes pictures and to properly verbalize what she is seeing and what she is not seeing.My daughter currently is wearing really thick glasses and she has asked multiple times to take them off not because she’s uncomfortable but she says that they are blurry so I’m very unsure if my daughter needs this strong prescription or if she needs glasses. Maybe she needs a lower prescription. I’m not for certain but I do know thatI will be getting a second opinion. I really do hope your experience is a lot better than mine and that you are aware that the exam is going to take a lot longer than expected I wish I would’ve known.

Office is ridiculously small, very unprofessional from receptionist to the Dr. Little to no explanation on visit... dont tell you your needing bifocals.. (contacts are more difficult when needing them) just so they can charge extra for the contact exam... dare call to ask a question rude as ever!!!
