Dr. Ashraf has cared for my husband for almost three years (and we hope for many, many more). He genuinely cares about his patients and listens carefully to our questions and concerns. Hes also funny- which is appreciated when seeing an oncologist. I think he truly saved my husbands life. We are forever grateful.

Dr Ashraf has been on my journey with Cancer right from the start since January 2017. He is a great Doctor, very compassionate, and understanding, and he always takes time to listen to any concerns/issues and addresses them immediately. I have had a rough time with my medications which has been causing a lot of illness and pain and he is working with me to find the right one as well as always keeping on top of any other concerns/issues. He has my trust, and I would highly recommend him to become your Oncologist - care provider. Thank you Dr Ashraf I truly appreciate you.

Dr. Ashraf is very caring and I find him to be very easy to relate to and explains things in an efficient way. He is very attentive to my concerns and prefer going to him then my primary for tests, etc. He is the first doctor to call me and explain my tests over the phone so I could take the proper action. I have several friends that have had cancer and they too speak highly of Dr. Ackerman. My first experience with another oncologist was when my husband had cancer. It was a horrible experience and knew when I got cancer I had to hand pick my oncologist and not be assigned one when my results came in. Dr. Ashraf has renewed my feelings in that there are caring doctors out there. My experience is he takes a genuine interest in his patients.

Dr. Ashraff is an awesome Oncologist. He is caring, great listener, explains the process in detail and surely addresses all our concerns. The staff is also attentive and follow up in a timely manner.I must give Nurse Lisa a Super Shout Out! My husband and I have been dealing with all types of “LOGIST”, “SPECIALIST”, “HOSPITAL”, and we have not met a Nurse as professional, hospitable, great memory, caring, honest, trustworthy, responds to calls in timely manner. I just cannot say enough and just hope the Dr sees her in the same light, because in our opinion looking in from the outside, she deserves any time off, raise and promotion. Starting out Dr.Ashraf was very good. I was sent to Ackerman for Proton treatments. That’s when it all started to go down hill. I kept getting weaker and weaker. Addressing my problem with both Ashraf and Ackerman. Both said that it was part of the treatment. My last treatment the technicians literally had to lift me onto and off the treatment table. Three days later I ended up in the hospital with radiation poisoning and internal bleeding. After 8 days and 3 units of blood And many tests i was finally released. Have been back to Dr. Ashraf for follow up. He has ignored my issues of still bleeding internally. Went back to hospital again one day after seeing his PA. I’m sorry when I make an appointment with a doctor I expect to see a doctor, not a PA. After the hospital stay of 3 days, and another blood transfusion. I went back to get the results of the tests. He was too busy on the phone with Ackerman to see me. I refused to talk with his PA, and insisted that I wanted to see him, was told that he would be in shortly. Waited 45 minutes. No Ashraf. Got angry and left. Have not been back and have no intention of going back. Finally got the results of all the tests from my primary doctor. My primary care doctor has found another oncologist to take over my treatments.My feelings about Dr Ashraf is that he has lost his care and passion for his patients, by trying to make a name for himself in the oncology world.
