Absolutely LOVE this place. I started working with them a few months back when I found them thru a Google search.I have 80 chickens & wanted a good organization to donate my eggs to. They have been amazing in so many ways. My girls love the food scraps they give them. Love the partnership weve established. They are truly some of the nicest people Ive ever met. ❤

They serve you break fast and they help the people they look out for the people shoes socks as well i still got on one of the shirts they gave me that say live generously ive had it on for about a week that you to the clara white mission an may god continue to bless them 8:00am breakfast you have to check they schedule tho because they do not do it everday but they are awesome when they do god bless you

What they do to assist currently misfortune neighbors is nothing short of remarkable. Awe inspiring work by all those that spend their time volunteering.

Found some ID cards on the sidewalk asked for help getting to police... Was basically pushed out the door refusing to help! Scary that these folks are supposed to be helping local citizens & something this little refused to help...

Love what they do and stand for

This place is dedicated to helping the indigent that are on the streets in Jacksonville. Downtown Jacksonville has a lot of homeless and hungry and this ministry does a great job to help people in the area with food and clothing and hygiene items. They serve breakfast 5 days a week and some days they also serve lunch. On the weekends, most often Sundays they do a clothing drive and serve hamburgers and hotdogs. They are consistent and are a wonderful staple for the community. Jacksonville could use two or three more similar to this one.

A great place to volunteer and give back to the community. I know Jacobi Pittman personally, her dad Joe, her uncles Darryl, Gary and Ricky I grew up with them we are all from the same Hood. My mom and dad house was right down the street from her great grand parents. I volunteer every second and fourth Sunday out of the month to help repair bicycles through Celebration Church for Pastor wade. That is one of the ways that I tried to give back, thank you for allowing me to help somebody. I pray that God bless you all.

Wonderful place

It is a great place to visit and they are an asset to the city. If you get a chance I would recommend you check them out and volunteer if you can make the time.

This is a great place to volunteer. Feel good about helping others like they do!

Participated in the transitional housing program they offer in conjunction with the VA. Sucked to have a curfew, but I understand. Decent place to get back on your feet (I needed to bridge my job start and getting my apartment). There were a few issue, mainly attributed to individuals, but good overall.

These people are doing wonderful things, feeding the hungery, clothing them, and making sure they are safe out there. I volunteer the every so often and when Im behind the counter or out serving them it really puts you in perspective when you see people who struggle so much everyday. I would donate my time and money to help this wonderful cause.

Clara White Mission is a very Resourceful place whomever in need. My hat goes off to the Staff there who is always respectable of everyone that go there. They are a great Source that serves our community.

Where do I start, the loud employee who at promptly 2:33 opened the front door to a line of 25-30 homeless human beings and announced IF YOU DID NOT STAY HERE LAST NIGHT YOU CAN NOT COME INSIDE! Its 46 degrees out side. So everyone else is now still outside. Its a shame he didnt attend the empathy class. The unlucky ones could have sat in the empty chairs in the dining hall in the warm. To bad for them.

Great program on the history of Jacksonville. Very interesting artifacts and memorabilia. The mission has been operating for over 115 years.

And a lady named Ms. HILL ,whom works /associated with Clara Whites foundations goals, is one lady the goes Over&Above to help the less fortunate people, with the willingness gness to do more than is expected of her . All that she does, cant be All her responsibilities

Assists with veterans but hours lately have made it impossible to visit if not on the strange schedule they made with a four hr break in between servicing vets in the morn through the afternoon.

I find this place to be very helpful to the community. I will never hurt yall . You can not twist my words anymore since every Thursday meeting is being watched.

Volunteered thru my job to serve breakfast. The staff & the diners were quite pleasant.

I never knew about this place until I had to do community service I think its a great place they help the homeless and the veterans I had the pleasure of doing breakfast in the morning helping out have a good people to me

If you (men only) have to live there, please be aware, they take your food stamp card, your social security number, lock you down for 90 days (mandatory), and religious services, classes and beliefs Are Mandatory! I have heard some nightmare stories about people who have not agreed with their version of doctrine being belittled, abused, and ostracised. Cold night overnights who are not looking to become residents will be mostly spared this reprehensible behavior. You will NOT be protected from thievery, mentally ill shelter seekers, and the feeling that youve done something wrong. Dont take anything you really value in ANY SHELTER. Of course, pets are NOT ALLOWED. They also have a food truck every Monday, first thing in the morning. Dial 211 for more food bank resources.

It was an honor for me to participte with Beth Heath and the Benghazi Matters Group in serving lunch to these veterans at the mission. These men and women gave so much for us that it is the least I could do to Thank Them for Their Service!I also want to recognize Angies Subs at the Beaches for their contribution to this lunch.The person that deserves the most recognition here is JuCiby Pittman-Peele and her staff for the services and training they provide to the hungry and the transitional housing they provide for the homeless.We also need to recognize JuCoby Pittman (D) for her recent appointment to the Jacksonville City Council along with Terrance Freeman (R) by Governor, now Senator-elect Rick Scott.

Got my van broken into while I was trying to get help and a free shower. That was a $265.00 shower. High crime area. Cant leave your vehicle alone. Stay away, go to the VA just down the road.Found out it was an employee! They prey on the homeless Veteran, watch out my brothers/sisters!

Saving them over $65-75 Thousand a year!DO NOT DONATE OR USE THIS PLACE! THEY ARE UN-AMERICAN AND NOT A CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION!

Biggest damn joke in jacJacksonvi. Go here and ask for help, theyll turn a blind eye. I went there, asked for help from the program director, he took one look at me, walked away and said he had a meeting. Must have been because I was white!!!?
