What a great Doc. After 2 years under his care there is no doubt I picked the right one. Compassionate and caring, he treats the person not just the symptoms. I’m not a “number”! He takes the time to listen to my concerns and does everything to avoid anything unnecessary then explains , thoroughly any course of action to be taken. “Follow-up” is amazing.Wish all my docs were this meticulous. By the way, this is reflected in the staff.Courteous, accommodating and professional.

I have been under Dr Salamehs care for three years now and could not be happier. I prefer to be a part of my care and treatment so I take a more hands on approach. The doctor make decisions with me instead of for me. I have his personal cell number so I can reach him at any time and he is very accommodating. His staff is very helpful and professional.

I would not hesitate recommending them to a friend or family member if needed. His office staff is very prompt and efficient in returning calls whenever you have reached out to them. The staff is great and caring. Dr. Salalah keeps me informed of my situation no matter the news. He gets on me about my diet and lack of exercise. I feel cared for.

Just finished my lab consultation. Kathy, Sharma, and everyone in the office are very kind. A slight adjustment to my meds and routine for now. The entry door is a bit hidden. The way the adjacent suites are so close makes the entrances almost look like one French door. Lol. Its good to have these checkups to ensure my doctor can keep me from bad health behavior. Doctor Salameh is the kindest doctor Ive ever met. He makes me feel confident about improving my health! From the other comments Ive seen here, I am sure I will be under the best care.

This doctor should be reported to the medical board for malpractice for never returning phone calls after many calls to his answering service. He doesn’t show care or kindness with the patient just as long as he is getting paid. He puts patients on dialysis and never monitors there progression or how successful treatment is. He doesn’t take the time to talk or inform the patient about their situation and what options exist. He doesn’t show any care in patients recovery and is in it for the money. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone, he accepts you at the beginning and puts on a front on then his service totally deteriorates as the patient continues under his care. Please be advised and pay close attention to him because he takes advantage of patients that are sick and unaware of what is going on. I wish I could selected a different doctor, but COVID prevented pro choice. Just wanted to pass my opinion along about this doctor in case others have a choice.

I have personally been a patient of Dr. Salameh for over a year now. He has been the best doctor that I have ever had he always gave me the best care possible and he is the only Dr. I have that I look forward to my appointments With him . He’s truly a great man and his patients can tell bye the care he gives them .All his whole staff is Professional and courteous and A pleasure to deal with especially his office manager Tammy she’s the best.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Salameh and his staff. I have seen him for almost 7yrs now, from dialysis, where he visited me regularly, thru transplant. Dr Salameh and his office staff have treated my wife and me like family and anytime I have had questions or concerns he has been right there with an ear to listen and give me the best advice. My transplant team at Mayo Clinic knows him very well and he knows them. I have never had a Dr. that cares for his patients like him. I would recommend him to anybody who is dealing with kidney issues.

I have been going to Dr Salameh for a few years now. I started going after TIA. Im not going to lie, I was scared at first, unclear of what this meant. Dr Salameh was my first Dr after the event. Dr Salameh and his e tire office put my concerns at ease. They were kind, understanding and knowledgeable. They make me feel like family during every visit.Recently, I moved to Texas and I was afraid I would have find a new Dr. But Dr Salameh and his staff jumped unto action once again by working with me during my travels to Jacksonville and also doing remote. I truly love Dr Salameh and his staff and I am thankful for them everyday!

Dr. Salameh is an awesome dr and was very thorough with trying to figure out what I had going on. It took me over a year of differnt Drs ans a bunch of appointments telling me it must be a genetics thing. I had one appointment with him and he saw my kidney functions were poor. He made me get a ct scan and figured out what was going on emediatly. He has been helpful on what we need to do next for me and every time I visit I just feel welcomed. The staff is awesome, they always ask how my baby is and seem to always be in a good mood.

I had been on dialysis for almost 5 years before I moved to Jacksonville 3 and 1/2 years ago and met Dr Jamal Salameh. He is my nephrologist, and I couldnt ask for a better doctor than him. He closely monitors my results and even jumps on me when needed but always in love. Every time that I have been in the hospital he has there to check on me sometimes even twice a day. I became septic and lost half my foot due to the negligence of another doctor and spent half of this year in the hospital and rehab center. Throughout that entire time I could always count on hearing from or seeing Dr Salameh to check on my progression and made sure I was getting the best care possible. I am proud to call him my doctor I thank God for him and I will always have him as my nephrologist as long as I live and would recommend Dr Salameh to anyone looking for a great and caring nephrologist.

Dr. Salameh is the BEST NEPHROLOGIST in the state. His love and compassion that he shows his patients is out of this world! He always greet you with that beautiful smile and letting you know everything is going to be ok. I met Dr. Salameh while i was a patient in Memorial Hospital and my kidney function was not good. Whatever Dr. Salameh did it worked and i vowed that no other NEPHROLOGIST can help me but him! Thank you Dr. Salameh for being the doctor that you are! I have never met a Dr that was so kind and caring. I hate going to my Dr appointments with one exception. When I go to the appointment here, it doesnt matter if I see Dr Salamah or his PA. They both take time and listen and explain and really show you that they care. The office staff is great.

Update 3 years later. Great first impression, not impressed anymore. Has great game strategy if you know what I mean. Will keep a patient happy, but not healthy is what an unnamed nurse told me once and I totally see that now. Tammy is an angel though. ❤️If I could give ten stars, I would. Amazing doctor who truly cares about the patient as a whole and his office staff is amazing and extremely helpful as well.

He is caring. He listens to his patients. Answers all of my questions in a manner understandable to a nonmedical person. I have input on my care. I have seen other nephrologists and did not get this level of care and compassion.

First visit, Im told I want to be your friend not doctor which subsequently led to hearing more about how Jamal used to be homeless vs talking about my medical. Suddenly, two years later I am in collections for $60 although I had never returned to this location more than twice, nor did I ever receive any care aside from some humorous discussions about life in general. Extremely unprofessional staff, inadequate manual billing system leading to billing errors that they better correct quickly as this has significantly impacted my credit over a stupid $60 I have no clue what is for and there was never an attempt to contact me about it.

I visited Dr Salameh at his Orange Park office and on Fort Caroline Road. The staff was great at both facilities. Dr. Salameh is an excellent doctor that I would recommend to everyone.Fred Hall
