She is the most incredible doctor I’ve ever worked with she really listens to you

If I could give zero stars I would. Had my physical . I have been in pain and had some questions for her. She seemed so put out and then finally said, I cant answer these questions, this is your physical appointment. I was stunned! When I questioned her on that, she said this is your physical and insurance wont cover any questions! I reminded her that I did not ask about my insurance and that money was not an issue. I have never in my life had a Dr. say they wont answer any questions!! Dr. Rak is extremely lacking in empathy and shows no interest in caring for patients. It was a devastating experience and she should not be practicing medicine. DO NOT GO TO HER!!

Recently had my annual done with Alexandra Shoemaker for the first time (PA in the same office as Dr Rak) and it was an excellent experience overall. Wait time was not long and she’s very in tune with truly getting to know her patients. She’s provides a very personable experience, takes the time to get to know you, listen to you and makes sure you’re comfortable. Will definitely be making any future appts with her moving forward!

I have been going to Dr .Rak for many many years. And I totally agree that she is unprofessional. And sassy. No bed side manner at all. If your in pain and hurting. She barely listens to you. I came in because I felt like I had a bad bladder infection. She refused to test me with a urine sample. And told me that my lower back pain is from the lack of stretching. I refuse to leave until she checked me. 1 week later and surprise I had a nadty bladder infection. I also came in a few months later with a lump and water around my neck. She look at me and said. There is nothing wrong with you its just your getting old. I was very upset when I left. I could sit here all day really and go on and on about the lack of care she gives. So no I dont like her as a doctor. If you have nothing wrong with you. Go see her. But if you do have something wrong with you. You might want to get another doctor.

I just left my appointment and I am completely shocked at the level of service I just received!Sofija Rak is one the most dismissive, unprepared, unprofessional and arrogant physicians I have ever met! Not only did she tell me I was practically lying about my health history- she dismissed all the reason why I made the appointment in the first place! When I asked her questions- she would not answer them, she told me she would not explain nor discuss all of my concerns- but only one. She had to Research my previous health ailment and told me what I went through was not a “real” thing. After she researched it and saw it was in fact true- she again dismissed it.It got to the point I had to ask her, “What kind of appointment is this?”Do not.... do not..... do not choose her! If your one of those people who have zero health concerns and is just looking to be in out- she may be for you.But if your looking for an in depth analysis of your health- no!

I am very pleased with my care from Dr. Rak and her staff. They are wonderful, friendly, caring people. She takes her time and really listens to all you have to say.

I have been going to this location since I was a child in elementary school. I am now 21 and I will NEVER step foot in her office or that place again. I have never felt so small in my life. First off, I walk in and the front desk lady immediately raises her voice and says I have a $50 late fee (this appointment was never booked by me, or given my consent) I was automatically embarrassed and anxious (I already have no health insurance and now youre telling me I need to cough up more money?!) then after my name is cleared *not even 15 feet away from her* she asks are you clear even though I already know she over heard the lady say she was waiving the $50 fee.I go into the office for a car accident. Dr.Rak tells me she wants to start me on prozak. After I tell her I dont want to be put on a DEPRESSION pill she says sometimes we have to do things we dont want to If a patient refuses something you dont fill the prescription and tell them to go pick it up and start taking it, it wont happen. She touched/moved the areas that hurt for less than 2 minutes and then gave me physical therapy and told me that anxiety could be the problem and that I could not be in pain.The time previous I went in for a blood test that she couldnt even perform and referred me to someone else who also turned me away because they dont take people without health insurance. Also another waste of $85 out of pocket.Overall this rant is kind of long but I walked out of this office twice not being treated and with questions still in the air. What a waste of money for this doctor

I love Dr Rak and all of the healthcare employees at Baptist Primary Care. They are all excellent and provide exceptional patient care!!

Friendly, Professional and Efficient. I am able to get an appointment in a quick and timely manner, often within the day of contact. I have always experienced the staff to be pleasant to interact with. The waiting area has wifi, and outlets. There is plenty of available parking. Ive seen multiple doctors at this location but Dr. Rak is my primary physician for the past 5+ years and I have recommended her to multiple people including my spouse. Dr. Rak has consistently treated me in a caring manner and listened to my list of ailments. I am very happy with the services provided by Dr. Rak and her staff.

We love Dr. Rak who is in part responsible for saving my husbands life. Long story, just the same - shes that good!I always look forward to our visits. Being preventative in nature is a common interest we share and I feel as though Im visiting an old friend every time I go.Her staff and the folks working in this office Rachel, Kathy, Pat, just to name a few are customer service focused and second to no other team.We moved to Jacksonville in June of 2013, tried other local Doctors. My former doctor cared about the total patient. Dr Rak shows no empathy and appears to take the path of least effort and work. I recently experienced a couple of accidents resulting in 2 broken wrists a couple of days later I broke my foot. I did see D Rak about the wrists, only one wrist was x-rayed. She advised it was a bad sprain and suggested a carpal tunnel brace. She provided no other treatment. The next day I received a call advising me my wrist was broken. The ortho pod I am seeing is great and shows true concern for the patient. Over the weekend I had a misstep that required a trip to the ER. I received excellent treatment and my foot was plased in a splint. The doctor sent an email to Dr Rak and an ortho pod marking the need for to see the specialist urgent. the request was not marked as urgent.I expressed my concern for the delay. A couple of days later I received a letter from the doctor firing me as her patient. See cited the recent breaks. One would think that a concerned primary care would show more concern.

Dr. Rak is the best. She is my Primary Care Doctor.
