I have been seeing Dr Alvarez for 7 years, and he was the BEST Dr I had ever seen! Always so caring, and listened to me when I had concerns. He didnt rush you in and out. Im gonna miss him! He is no longer practicing after contracting covid and pneumonia. The staff was also OVER the top friendly! I felt more like a family member then a patient!

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with a doctor. And I have a whole host of health issues so I’ve been seen At least every three months since 2002. It took TWO HOURS After my scheduled appointment time for them to see me. This doctor was horribly unprofessional, didn’t read my chart before coming in, causing him to assume I had type 2 diabetes when he saw my insulin pump, asked me if I had ever been to gynecologist after discussing my daughter? Like how would I have a baby and never have stepped foot in a obgyn office. He was rude and condescending. Talked about my stretch marks during a completely irrelevant conversation. Told me that he could tell I’m not a natural blonde? I got creepy vibes the whole time and will not be going backI adored the nurse though. She was one of the best nurses I’ve had and I wish she would leave this location.

I and my children have seen doctor alavez for over 7 years He is the best, he doesnt cut corners, and he is honest, he treats you like family. The wait is never long and the staff follows up with you always. Jen and Donna are awesome. And he is the same way with the children. 5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH. HE IS GREAT

Dr. Alvarez is very rude, judgmental and condescending. His NP is nice and seems knowledgeable, but there is absolutely no way I would visit this practice if I could find anyone else to take medicaid. Ive never been on medicaid before, but when we moved to FL and immediately got pregnant I didnt have much choice.

I love Dr. Alveraz, William, Donna, Jennifer and the staff there all awesome. I’ve been going there for 4+ years my daughter also goes to them. Dr. Alveraz is a no nonsense doctor very honest and I like that and his staff have been there for me and my daughter. They really should have 1 thru 10 rating because I would give him a 10+.

I have nothing against this doctor I think he is awesome but his staff is awful. I am a really patient person and in order to write a review like this is because I literally ran out my patience. Appointment after appointment never keeping my information updated , every time the same question: what are we here for today ? And then if your appt was at 8 am they make you come in half an hour later . I’m sorry mister Alvarez is a great physician but he needs to have a talk with his staff .

This is by far the worst doctor I have ever experienced. If I could give him less than a star I would. He very clearly misdiagnosed stage 4 breast cancer and told my family member that it was an allergy reaction and to take Benadryl. She had to get a second opinion and it was CONFIRMED stage 4 breast cancer, he literally almost killed my family member who had extremely agressive cancer. I know what you’re thinking too, maybe it wasn’t ouscially obvious. No, it was every horrible google image you can find when you google breast cancer. He is lucky he did not get sued. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!!

Misdiagnosed me by claiming I was anemic and had hypothyroidism. When I obtained blood work back from another doctor a few months later, I did not have any of these conditions. Front staff will never follow up with you. I asked for an out of pocket cost for an appointment and they never replied back to me. I had to show up at the time to determine the price after calling back relentlessly. Dr. Alverez seems nice, but it also seems like he is just trying to bank on everyones hard earned money.

He is a good doctor.Who takes the time to listens to me and had the patients best interest in mind.

Great staff. The doctor listens to you and works with you to create a plan for success. Highly recommended.

Had my house recently broken into and during that my prescription was stolen. I called the office, with a police report, to ask to help with it because I understand the severity of it. And although I had a police report and no record of being a drug seeker or any history of this they would not do anything to help. They just profiled me, although I have a masters and a job since graduating undergrad.Its a shame.Update:Just moved back from CA and its the same mean old lady in the front and awful staff who doesnt their job as you’re paying. I switched doctors same day...

My boyfriend is a patient and receives great service and compassion from this team of professionals. The ladies are GREAT! And so is the Dr.

Dr Alverez is awesome . His staff makes you feel like youre a family member & feel at home. UF health is always a good go to for your healthcare needs . Keep up the awesome work !

Have a lot of health problems going on n hes taking his time to get to them. Just want to get the tests done to figure out whats going on....Im the one dealing with this and the pain that comes with it not him.
