Went to 24/7 pediatrics for our newborn visit and the nurse we saw, Amber, was amazing. I wish we saw her for our follow up visits as well. For our 2 month check up we saw Dr. Martinez. We discussed what vaccines we wanted to do at that visit. I shared my concerns and she ensured me that the Pentacel vaccine did not have side effects. When we got home, our baby screamed and cried with shrieks that she has never made before. She cried for 4 hours inconsolably. Our baby who eats every 2 hours would not nurse or take a bottle in over 5 hours. I called the office to talk to Dr. Martinez about her reaction to the vaccine, the front office took a message both times. Martinez never called us back. That’s beyond comprehension that you have a newborn patient having an adverse reaction to a vaccine that a parent was concerned about in the first place, and you can’t bother calling back. We will be going to a new pediatrician who cares about their patients.

I can not believe the ignorance of these people! My son had a 103 degree fever but was acting normal except just being sleepy. His pediatrician is not 24/7 and couldn’t get ahold of anyone and didn’t think a trip to the ER was necessary at the time. So I called and just wanted an opinion or suggestion on what I should do, and because my son isn’t a patient of theirs they wouldn’t tell me anything! All I wanted was a “yes worry” or a “no don’t worry” answer and they couldn’t even do that! Unbelievable and disrespectful.

This place is horrific do not take your children here. Those women have no clue about anything and one of them was not wearing a mask. If I could give them no stars they are rude . and was completely unorganized and doesn’t know how to talk to you without rolling there eyes . They need new office staff they are absolutely unprofessional.

Can’t believe it......do not pay online, never...... if you did, check your bill right now!Update Mar/14/2020Follow your instructions, already called your billing team, said they will check and call back. I’ve given this pediatrician office more chances than deserved. Rude staff at the reception desk. Laughed when I asked for management. 24/7 does not apply for patients. Many times I’ve tried to get my kids in because they were sick and they refuse to see them. I’ve ended up having to go to the emergency room more than the pediatrician office due to them not wanting to see their patients. Anytime I call following up on er directions or needing more care or advice they all the sudden need to have the child come in to take more money from me even tho I tried to come to them first. They have misdiagnosed my children multiple times and of course management makes excuses and never follows up. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times today re: my sons coughing today and no one called me back to let me know what I needed to do. I had to call 3 times to get an answer and unfortunately I started calling at 9 am , 11am and then finally 330 pm before I was told I needed to bring my son in. Very frustrating. Would not recommend this pediatricians office to anyone. They do not care about their patients.

I have had my 5 children seen at this practice for the past 10 years and have started having issues in the past few months. They are demanding payment for appointments that my insurance covers to even see my children.Apparently if you gripe about paying for a visit that you shouldnt be paying for, your children will be discharged from their practice. The staff is rude, condescending, and not welcoming whatsoever.I have since found a new pediatrician for my children. Sad to leave this one because we all adore Dr. Leach. Too bad the front office is running us off. Be wary of the gate keepers . Theyre the real issue these days.

They have so many patients they never have time to dedicate getting to know any, worse off never have availability for your child when theyre sick/injured. Theyre are far better local practices that dont make your kiddo a number.

Mixed review. The health care providers, both physicians and NPs/PAs, are wonderful. Usually there is not a long wait, kids are seen quickly, and the providers seem caring. Its dealing with the front office/billing/referrals which is maddening.For more than two. years now, weve been dealing with an issue with one of my kids where the insurance company has his birthdate wrong. I know this. They know this. Weve tried to remedy it numerous times. Ive been on hold and spoken to people for about 12 hours total. Nothing happens, because Im told I have to drive to Tallahassee with a birth certificate to prove the change. (This is likely even impossible now because all offices are closed to in-person.). SO every time we go in, this becomes an issue and they want us to cash pay. Which we cant afford. Then Im told.I need to call again, get a new reference number, and try and get it changed. Thats not so easy. One can easily be on hold for 45+ minutes, to have the call dropped, or to be routed to yet another number/place. Ive called at least 5 times in the past two years--so Im well aware of this. Nothing happens.So then Im at the mercy of the front desk clerk--who is often new, and unaware of the history. Either she refuses to let my child get care, or a medical professional steps in, and they do get care. These have been for both things that are routine such as vaccinations which are automatically 100% covered by law or for when this child is sick.For referrals, it often takes multiple calls to get a referral to the point where I usually give up after a few months.Theres yet another issue where their computer system says we have two insurances, which we dont. This, too, has gone on for years. Once again, something I have tried to resolve multiple times, but with no luck.After taking two kids on Friday for flu shots, and two kids today, I had to leave with the two kids today not getting seen. SO during a pandemic, the brilliant policy is to let kids not get a flu shot putting us all more at risk. Front desk person who looks to be in her twenties says that the billing office told her this. I said, Let me talk to them. She replies, Theyre not here anymore. Thus....nothing that I can do. Of course, I can spend another 3+ hours playing phone tag tomorrow trying to resolve it. But its not like there arent other things that need to happen with four kids virtual schooling all day, etc. Theres no guarantee that I will be able to bring them in for the next available appointment. This was made in August--because I was trying to be proactive. Theres also no guarantee that I will ever resolve this (as it hasnt been resolved in the past two years), so now what? My being high risk for Covid complications does not make matters easier.If youre one of the lucky ones who has zero billing/insurance issues or referral issues, youll be very happy. Otherwise, good luck.

This facility is essentially a factory. There will be hectic rooms, long waits, and little individual consideration. If you like supporting corporate structure and underpaid employees this is the spot. You will be disregarded at every corner just as you would expect. Terrible establishment will never return.

Highly recommend this practice. I have been bringing both my children here for 6 years now & have had very few issues. Amber Page is my preferred person to see on visits, but all the doctors & staff in my experience are pleasant, compassionate & knowledgable.

This place is horrific do not take your children here. Especially Fleming Island they need to be closed down.Those women have no clue about anything and one of them was not wearing a mask. If I could give them no stars I would do not take your children here they are rude and treat the children terrible. The checking receptionist had no idea what shots were needed and was completely unorganized and doesn’t know how to talk to you without rolling her eyes. A word of advice get new office staff they are absolutely miserable. I will be taking this further.

My kids have been patients here since 2012, and I don’t know what I would do without them. My son was born with gallstones, and another son has cyclic vomiting syndrome. Having a doctor available early in the morning or late at night is therefore essential. They are always good about addressing my kids’ particular needs when we go in. The only time I’ve had a complaint was that one of the doctors told me my son wasn’t tongue tied when he is, but I also don’t expect most doctors to know about tongue ties.We’ve always been able to request which provider we see (when possible). I recommend it to everyone.

Being a boy mom it is very overwhelming at times with how daring boys can be. My favorite doctors are just a phone call away for piece of mind or reassurance and if the doctor isn’t able to speak then the nursing staff is just as wonderful. Being welcomed with a smile every time we walk in the door is such a great feeling. The staff seems well educated at their jobs which is a relief for a first time mom. There’s always questions and they always have the answers. I work in the medical field myself so I know it could take a little while to hear back from someone if I call and leave a message but they always call back with the best results and answers to solve my problems. I never feel like a bother, which I probably call more than normal. I use to go to the beaches location which I loved but live closer to the point meadows office and I’ll have to admit the staff they hire seems like more of a family. There is nothing better then going to a small practice with kids and feeling like you’re at home with medical professionals. Everyone’s always smiling and laughing and making my son feel safe. So hats off to the managers at Point Meadows for running a wonderful office. Keep up the good work everyone and thank you so much for all that you do 24/7 for all of your patients and parents.

Absolutely love this practice.. I have been to all 3 locations at one point or another. The extended hours are so convenient for us working moms, also have always been able to get in same day for a sick visit. Staff is always friendly and the providers are all great! Highly recommend bringing your kids here!

Absolutely love this office for my kids medical needs. I adore Amber and although she is a NP I prefer her over other providers because my children have grown such a bond with her. All of the nurses and receptionists are always nice and eager to help when it is needed, any time of the day!My son had alot of fear of doctors when we came to this office but has grown to enjoy his visits here. Love them!

Recently switched from Carithers Pediatrics to this group and I am SO IMPRESSED. The 24 hour care they offer is out of this world. To be able to call and ask questions whenever I need or to be able to take my kids in WHENEVER I need and not have to worry about conflicting schedules is amazing. Highly recommend them.

I absolutely love them! Always same day appointments when they are sick. Answer all my questions and if you want another opinion that make sure they help you get it. They also always listen to your concerns and address them! The kids love them never a problem with them! No billing issues no attitude problems and they are literally open 24 7 so it eliminates hospital visits!

24/7? I dont think so. I understand being closed due to a hurricane, but there is no reason not to have a working phone service. To have your phones forwarded to a full mailbox, 2 days after the storm, for all 3 locations is ridiculous. If you truly want 24 hour access, I suggest looking for a different pediatric office.I wouldve liked to give this office the chance to explain themselves, but no one was answering a phone.

Horrible customer service! Dr Davi is great but they will not allow you to see the same doctor every time. They transfer you around the office with no explanation as to what they are doing. The wait is always long and appts are never on time. The girls in the front office are more worried about what they are having for lunch or what they are doing in their spare time. I will be reporting this facility for its lack of care!

I have been taking my oldest daughter here for 4 1/2 years and my youngest since she was born. The offices are very accommodating to getting your child into the office to be seen, whether it be a sick visit or a physical. They are quick with getting forms completed when you request them, which only took them 30 minutes when I requested it last week for my daughters school. The staff is kind and the offices are clean. All the providers are thorough at explaining what your child is diagnosed with, as well as, handing out an article for you to take home. My girls couldnt be happier here either! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I have to say by far this is THE BEST pediatric office in my eyes. From the front desk, the nurses and Amber. Amber has been so amazing with my son. From his first week of life and now almost 4months old. Shes very open minded, caring, and listens to what you have to say. She tells you the different ways to do things and whats the best way she recommends. My son always smiles when he sees her. Shes extremely attentive and knowledgeable. She truly brings a peace of mind to me as a first time mom, and she goes above and beyond in my eyes. I truly want to thank all of you guys for being so kind and caring to Micha (Jr). I truly recommend coming to this location to any parent who wants THE BEST care for their kid(s). Jamila you have been a blessing as well. I only wanted Jr to be seen by you as well because you have always been so nice and understanding since the first time! Words can’t describe how much you guys mean to me and how high I hold you guys. 8hrs away now and you guys are worth any drive!!

After hours aspect is great. Multiple times I’ve had to use it for anything from vomiting to ear infections (which they were able to diagnose through a camera to the Dr on call, pretty cool). Staff and nurses have always been very friendly. Couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

I have been bringing my son there for 2 1/2 years and love everyone there. I have been able to take him there in the evenings and weekends which helps tremendously. Its nice calling and being able to speak with a nurse at 2am and knowing there is easy access to a practitioner if needed. I will never go anywhere else.I am also a nurse and have watched their technique and hygeine and have the seen the high standards they keep.

Rude staff. You see a new face often. The Staff should also be aware that conversations can be heard through the door. Im surprised no body has sued this place yet. I can hear insurance information, what someone did with their son during the weekend, to the office gossip about their head manager. Get thicker doors! Or new staff. Dr. Benitez needs to clean house.

Absolutely the worst ever.Fancy walls dont make you a valued provider.If you dont like kids, dont work in pediatrics.. And when you misdiagnos kids because you. Wouldnt take the time to. Do. My daughters shot record was inaccurate. They stated they gave shots to my 6 month old that were not to be given until 15 months. The staff did not address concerns I raised about my daughters feeding difficulties. She ended up hospitalized with Failure to Thrive. They did not call when we were there or follow up with us after. We have moved to another pediatric practice and they are far more thorough and caring. If you need care on the weekends or holidays then you will be better off in the ER. I do not trust this facility and their ability to make competent decisions about the care of my kids.

The experience i have had with point meadows. I have been a client with pediatric care center since about 2012. Just recently i was informed by my daughter daycare that she may be have vision issues so i called her pediatric center to ask for suggestion or a direction on eye doctors. When i called a gentlemen by the name of Carlos answer the phone. He placed me on hold as soon as he answered came back to line seven minutes later when he then stated he couldnt help. At that time i had not told him the reason of my call. He then puts me on hold again for another three minutes comes back online and again advised me he couldnt do anything. I asked for manager immediately i was so confused how someone like him could be working for a kids doctors office. He stated no one was available, so i spoke to his co-worker to informed her of my terrible experience wit her colleague had she then helped me. i asked that she address this issue with someone because Carlos was rude and unprofessional to place someone on hold and then get offended when asked a question again, i was very pleasant with Carlos never raised my face or use profanity. She said she would rely message. A few weeks later i received a notice in mail from pediatric care center stating that they are parting ways with me. There was no explanation or reason behind this letter. Again its been four years i only went to doctors office if i had to. So i decided to call to get to the bottom of this issue. I called everyday for four weeks straight and i mean everyday. I spoke to every single associate at both the beach location and point meadows and informed them of issue i was experiencing every one of them said they would email and write a message to advised Cassidy the manager and their administrator the one who sent the letter. It has been two month today! Guess what still no call....I have yet to receive a call or letter in reference to this matter. I am applaud and offended they have defamed my character and this location is very unprofessional. As i stated i was a client for four years and i couldnt even get a simple call back.. I wanted to write on the BBB so for future parents looking for a great doctors and pediatric care center could avoid bringing their little ones here. My relationship with these meant noting after four years they took the word of a new hire and refused to speak to me when there was never an altercation in the first place. As that was stated by one of their associates. AGAIN FUTURE PARENTS DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CHILD HERE!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEM TRUST ME. Read all the reviews i am not the only one with this issue. Horrible staff and service.

Ive had about 1 bad experiences at this doctors office , which they called and addressed (my twins were given extra vaccines ) the medical assistant who gave it to them, called me and addressed the issue VERY professionally. Nothing happened to my kids if she wouldnt have called I wouldnt have found out . They acted normally and it didnt effect them , yes was worried, concerned and paranoid but at the end of the day Im thankful she called and spoke to me to address the BIG mishap. Ive never had any other problems they are all sweet and caring and I love that its 24 hours 7 days a week!!! Amber and caitlin are my favorite!!!!

I am very shocked by the negative reviews! We love everyone of the employees we have met in the past 3 1/2 years of my daughters both being patients. Not only have they been correct in every diagnosis, but my kids both absolutely LOVE going to see them ( which in my opinion says alot!) . We were there the other day and when the nurse opened the door my 3yr old said hi! And hugged the nurses legs :) Very clean offices both locations and always willing to do their best to get the child in!

This place was good when only visiting for annual exams and physicals but when it comes to a sick visit no not at all. My daughter has been extremely sick an I called and made her an appointment for 9:20 am on Tuesday. When I got there the lady at the front desk says that I need to call Humana and Aetna and get three different reference numbers before they will see my child. For one, this should have been told to me when I called the evening before to make the appointment. For two, I had called and given them my Aetna information long before this, and advised that I was no longer with humana. So after 20 minutes of waiting on hold with Humana my daughter is still in pain and has a fever and needs to be seen so I told the lady I was leaving and taking my daughter elsewhere. I took my daughter to urgent care spot where she was seen immediately and prescribed the necessary medication. However, when I went to fill the prescription it took the pharmacy hours to sort out the mess that this doctors office had caused because evidently, even after I told them I was going elsewhere, they still to it upon themselves to call the insurance companies and whatever they did with my information cause a whole mess of confusion that delayed my daughter receiving her meds. I will never go there again. To just think what could have happened while they delayed care to my sick child. I do not recommend.And after I wrote this review on Facebook, they responded by basically blaming everything on the me and the insurance company and tried to take no ownership of there wrong doings. Then gave an apology that started with “we are sorry if you feel” ...that is not an apology that is pretending to apologize while still trying to take no ownership of their action. You cannot apologize for how someone feels you can only apologize for your own actions which they did not. Let me reiterate that there was no problem with my insurance policies, and that I had called and given the updated information long before this appointment date. The pharmacy only had trouble because of the lady from this doctors office calling the insurance companies (which she should not have even continued to call and discuss/change my info after I told her I was taking my child elsewhere). Not only that but this isn’t the first time they have screwed up, other times I have called to get records and they said it wasn’t in the systems and took hours to locate it. Just not a good business all around. 100% do not recommend.

After 5 years with this practice, Im finally cutting the cord. The level of care and quality has gone down drastically. Here are my reasons:1) You never see a doctor. This place may as well be called the nurses/pa group. Please dont get me wrong, I respect everyones profession, but its more common to see a nurse or pa and not a doctor unless you specifically request it.2) The doctor/staff turnover seems to be constant. Whenever I brought my child here, I never or hardly ever saw the same practitioner. If I request a specific doctor/nurse, either theyve left quite some time ago or recently. The bad part about this is that the organization didnt even care or bother to let their patients know of doctor changes--doctors who have left or new doctors. As a result, you dont even get the chance to establish a quality doctor-patient relationship.3)The reception staff can be rude at times.4) My child has been misdiagnosed on several occasions. I know this because after a visit here, Ive had to take my child to Wolfsons just to find out that its much worse.5) Speaking of misdiagnosed: on one occasion, an MA walked into the room and handed my child a cup of medicine that wasnt intended for him. I understand that people make mistakes, but all she said was, Oh when the nurse corrected her and left the room. There was no apology. Had the nurse not been in there, I dont know what would have happened. 6)The advertised name 24/7 isnt really 24/7. Even though there is an after hours nurse, its not a benefit where you would bring your child in to be seen. I guess its more for monitoring purposes. Whats the point in this? 24/7 makes me think that you could get most services through the entire 24 hour period. If this place claims not to be an urgent care, whats the point in this?7) My child was put on a waiting list to receive a flu shot, but was never called.All in all, this place seems to care more about quantity rather than quality. There is no quality patient-doctor relationship that has been established with the care of my child. I have tried to reach out to the office manager several times about these concerns and explain them to her, but I dont think there has been consistent follow-up. It seems like this place goes on the defensive--you can tell this from the condescending replies on some of the google reviews. Anyways, good riddance--Ive taken my child elsewhere.

-Service is not good-Nurses are not knowledgeable-Have taken my children multiple times and the majority of the times the doctor is not in the Office (although you pay for a “doctors” appointment).-all they do is computerized test (no actual medical knowledge) and if the test are negative they can’t tell you an actual diagnosis-last visit, my toddler had a respiratory Infection (diagnosed 2 days after at a hospital). they did some computerized tests as all were negative. they said that it may be a virus or a future rash.. was told to wait a couple of days. Left with no actual diagnosis or medical treatment.

I believe my doctor profiled me for my past history, my looks and everything. What everyone from his school to DCF and even an officer who came and spoke to us, nothing was alarming about the amount of bruises a 4 year old boy had.... Ill now be switching doctors because I dont feel like the doctor really cared and just wanted to push her judgmental views on who I am as a person and assume Im letting my son be abused or Im the one doing it. I dont appreciate that. If the bruises were deeper, darker in color and actually HURT if touched, I can understand the concern but.....whatever.

Unfortunately, the negative reviews are very accurate. Took my daughter here for a prescription because we are new to the area and dont have a pediatrician yet. The doctor who saw her was completely indifferent to her 102 fever, or lack of discharge instructions. As a RN myself but first a mother, I was appalled by the horrifically rude and abrasive nursing staff.

Its nice to have a 24 hour facility but the staff there could be alil more welcoming and friendly, a smile and nice greeting at the door wouldnt hurt I mean when I walked in I didnt feel welcomed so I said Hello how are u first... and when I took my son they didnt think he was sick enough for antibiotics and I tried to tell them yes he was, I shouldnt have to beg for good treatment!!

We checked in at 11am for an 1130 am appt. at 1215 we have not been seen. 8 other children checked in after we did goimg off of the sign in log some of them were seen and discharged while we continue to wait to be seen. my child sick fever and ill. long time patient. i finally brought to the attention of the aid @1145. @ 1215 still being denied care. my child has another appt @1. the check in person at the other dr said her child was also treated this way at this same pediatricians office.

DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD BE SEEN BY THESE PEOPLE! This is the worst office I have ever been to. First of all you never see The Doctor you only see the nurse practitioner during visits. These Nurse Practitioners dont know a thing. They misdiagnosed my son several times and they cant even send the prescriptions to the pharmacy correctly. Then to add the icing on the cake the staff gets an attitude when you call them back concerned about your child. I will never return to them nor would I recommend anyone going to this place. Amanda is rude dont ever speak with her. They need to all go back to medical school because they are playing with childrens lives.My son had pneumonia and they told me he was teething and needed tylenol. They also said the same thing another time when my son really had an ear infection. Its ridiculous that they cant tell whats wrong with a child when they went to school for it. I shouldnt have to go to the hospital after I came from the pediatrician because they cant do their job. Please find somewhere else to have your child seen.

As a new mom i can be increasingly annoying with my dumb questions. I call so much. And they are always helpful. Im surprised with the negative comments because i never saw that in any of my visits. And we are there so often. After the storm we were seen right away. I call nights too, if they cant answer my questions at night they will tell me they will call me back. And they always do. They gave me so much free formula samples that i had so much extras. They are not perfect but they try to always care for whatever the child needs. There are times, i have no water, diaper, milk. Like i said im a new mom it just gets crazy. And they are there for me. Im so happy here im afraid to check any office near my place in fear i wont be able to get the same service. I love this place. I think more mom loves this place than hate it. They just dont give reviews coz their happy with this place. I just wanted new moms to know this is the place to go.

The doctors do not wash their hands or wear gloves. We went for well visit and my child got sick, My child stays home. So I am pretty sure it is from the doctor visit. Also they need to clean their stethescope before seeing a new patient.

Staff is RUDE! No respect for patients parent opinion. Weve been waiting over a month for a referral and Dr. Pitottochi is out of town now. My daughter is now out of medicine she has been on for two years. After several phone calls where they were reuse, interruptive and at one point laughing I decided to go to their Facebook page where their reviews had been removed. When I posted my post under the visitor post it was deleted and I was then blocked. Please let the deter you from this facility. A doctors office without reviews cant be good for your family. Dont let them give you an insurance excuse for my situation. We have tri-care and nemours wasnt accepting new patients- it was their duty to recommend another doctor but they didnt. My daughter is now sufffering without meds she has been on for two years because of the staff in this office. Even after requesting to speak with Dr. Benetiz, the head of the practice I was denied that ability as well.Im very sad that Dr. Pitottchi is out of town and we will be leaving the practice as we love her personally but unfortunately, I dont think the staff cares about my childs wellbeing.

So this place shows up on a search for 24 hour urgent care centers. There are at least two pictures that show 24-7. When we showed up is when I found out they wont actually see you unless youre already a patient. Very misleading advertising and a waste of my time when I have a child who doesnt feel well.

I was there 2/1 the PA was very rude I complained to the office manager about it, now I got a letter that we are been dismissed from the practice, my son 12 , we have been with the clinic since he was a baby I am extremely disappointed .

I dont give it 0 because it is not in the option. I took my baby a while ago and they treated him normally.I call again another time and they do not want to attend to him because he is supposedly not patient. What is a 24/7 pediatric clinic for (where one can resort hours and days where there are no doctors available) if they attend when they feel like it?
