My little girl enjoys staying at Pet Paradise when I travel with work. The staff go above and beyond to make her stay fun. I highly recommend them.

More important than my love for Pet Paradise…My Dogs really had a good time. Being able to watch them play (Via WebCam) was a bonus. I highly recommend these wonderful folks!

I followed Dr. Tanya Robinson when she joined Pet Paradise. She is the most caring, responsive vet! The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable, and so very friendly. My two dogs adore Dr. Robinson and the staff. I feel that my dogs are important to them and it shows! Highly recommend!

Love, love, love Pet Paradise. Oh, my dog Bella does too! Well, shes more on the obsessed side. They take great care of her and she loves swimming. She whimpers half way home when I pick her up. Im convinced thats her asking for more play time in the pool. She went there just about every week day for the first two years of her life until.i was certain she was ready to be on her own. The one drawback - they cannot kill her energy, but I cant blame them for that. She still wants to play when she gets home but thats all her 🥰

Our dog goes there each time we vacation. She also has been there for day camp. The staff is enthusiastic and helpful. Management needs to work on their telephone reservation system. They probably know this.Friends have gone elsewhere as Pet Paradise insist customers use the on-line computer system. Too bad. No telephone response unless facility is contacted directly. We will not consider the Veterinarian for this reason. I hope it is only a staffing shortage problem.

I’ve taken my Mini Bull Terrier to Pet Paradise several times over the past few months. I was a little leery at first about starting with a new boarding facility, but I have been pleasantly surprised at how awesome the staff has treated me and my pet! They’ve worked with him to make sure he is safe and having fun with lots of exercise. He had a great time at Wacky Days Camp complete with photos that benefitted a local charity. I definitely recommend Pet Paradise Jacksonville University.

We took our baby girl for a get acquainted visit on March 19th and all I can say is wow. The lobby is bright and inviting, the staff is friendly and welcoming. There is no doubt of their love for the animals that are dropped off. Throughout the day I could watch the webcam and I was able to see our sweet baby girl playing and having a great time. The picture attached is one Pet Paradise which made their Facebook page. We cant wait for Goldie to have her first boarding weekend..Pet Paradise thank you for welcoming our girl into your family and taking such amazing care of her during her visit!!!

I have used dog sitters in the past but nothing compares to the mental security of knowing your pets are being well socialized, fed the correct amounts, fed the correct foods, given their meds on time, have plenty of water, etc. Definitely worth the few extra dollars for no hassle!

My two pups Cami and Georgie stayed for 5 nights.I loved the webcams being able to watch them play and have fun. The pictures uploaded to their Facebook page was also great to see! They seemed so happy. Will definately use their services again!

If your pet is a rescue don’t bother bringing them here. Extremely disappointed with this place. A couple of months ago I brought my cat here for the cat daycare. It was our first time visiting and strike one happened when we had walked in through the front door. My cat is more comfortable walking on her leash and harness and the woman at the front desk told me that “Cats that get walked on a leash are known to have attitudes and act like they can do whatever they want.” This wasn’t the nicest thing to say but I brushed it off and continued on with the registration process. Unfortunately during the process I was told she did not have the correct Feline leukemia vaccine that they required. She is a rescue and had been given the at home version according to her paperwork. I was a little disappointed but completely understood and kindly told the staff that at this point I decided that it would be best to take my cat home. As we were packing up the woman at the front desk then says “That’s what you get when you get a rescue. They’re known to have issues like these.” Hearing this honestly made me so uncomfortable and so grateful that these people would NOT be watching my cat for the day. I felt like those comments were out of line and extremely uncalled and have definitely put this potential customer off. We will NEVER be coming back here in the future and I strongly encourage anyone else who is thinking about bringing their animals here to be extremely cautious.

$45 for day camp as an employee… my dogs would be there for a whole shift 5-6 hours and not go out to play once on some days. I only worked there for the day camp, never going back. Taking my dogs somewhere where they will actually get to play and not be put in a room alone for hours. If I wanted to leave them alone in a room for hours to just sit there and cry, I’d leave them at home.

Our dogs had a great time here and the staff were very friendly. I took off a star because we called after we dropped them off and asked to add baths but it must not have been scheduled. They didn’t charge us but we were hoping for fresh pups when we got back.

They always have a good time. They love the pool and everyone is always so attentive... they all remember my girls when we go over there.

Absolutely love this place. My two pups are so happy going there. I like that they have a place to unwind when at camp all day.

My first experience with Pet Paradise was very pleasant! The staff members really know what they’re doing and they made me feel at ease about leaving my pup for the weekend. They took the time to get to know my dog and his personality, and when my dog got tired from playing a lot, they picked up on it and took him inside to rest. He’s getting older, so I really appreciated that! Also, the facility itself is very clean, which sets it apart from other boarding facilities I’ve taken my dog to in the past. Very pleased!

The caretakers at Pet Paradise University have been endlessly reliable, and helpful when boarding our pup. Ive had no adverse experiences at any time, and on our first visit, they even called to ask about a limp he has that I forgot to disclose. Having watched our dog Charlie over the cameras when possible, I am always excited to see him playing with compatible dogs, and to see any over-excitement very professionally, calmly, and effectively reined in.

The staff is amazing! It is like having family or someone you completely trust watching your child. They care as much for my Bella as I do. They are friendly and greet you by name. Bella is always excited to go to daycare! She loves everyone there and loves that they treat her like a princess! I really enjoy watching all of the dogs on the webcam during playtime. This is the best “medicine“ when it is a stressful day!

My high-energy large pup loves Pet Paradise almost as much as I do! I enjoy watching him on the webcam make new friends in the play yard. The staff is always so accommodating and responsive and it gives me a great peace of mind whenever I travel. I honestly couldnt imagine boarding him anywhere else. The Pawgress Reports they always send you home with are a thoughtful and informative addition!

Dog will never go to another Pet PENN. Paradise . not sure if its the business model or the site associates but very poor.

We brought our 1 year old Havanese, Tonto, to spend the night while we attended the Gator Bowl. He has never stayed away from home overnight and doesnt do doggy daycare. He is very much a people person and is never far from our sides. Very affectionate, gives kisses to anyone, but a mammas boy. We were worried how his one night stay would go. We were greeted quickly with a smile and a young woman came from the back, got down to his level, gave him a belly rub and a head rub and said lets go!. He never once looked back. I was hoping to watch him via webcam, bu I didnt have signal where we were so can only go by his report card. They took him to the pool, had outdoor playtime with other dogs appropriately sized and had said they would feed him chicken Parmesan with our permission if he wouldnt eat. The next morning when we came to pick him up, he again was happily walking on his leash, didnt seem to be upset being there UNTIL he saw us, then took off running. I say it was very successful and would have no qualms about recommending this Pet Paradise and would certainly leave him again here if we were in the Jacksonville area and needed a place for him to stay. We are thinking of giving him an occasional Doggy Daycare day in Naples, FL just to keep him acquainted with the process of being away.Thanks for making his first stay a success!

I cant say enough good things about Pet Paradise and their amazing staff.Our dog drags us in there and I can fully understand why. The front desk staff is great, the Veterinary office team is thorough, I love watching the Resort staff play with our dog on the web cams and the Resort Manager Michelle is wonderful! He is exhausted from all the fun he has while he is there!

Waking up at 530am to drop my dog off at 630am, you would think the most important thing to tell you over the phone would bring updated vaccine records not “ just bring your happy pup” when asked is there anything I need to bring?

I have been taking my dogs to Pet Paradise for over 5 years! My dogs cant wait to get out of my car and into Pet Paradise! No matter which location I go to Dexter & Miller are treated as if they were the staffs own! The team knows their names and speak with such a great feeling of care! I can tell they truly love what they do and care about everyone that chooses to have their pets stay with them. I love the surveys they send after your stay so you can keep in touch with each and every stay. The customer service is why I continue to choose Pet Paradise! ( and the puppy pool!! )Thank you!!

Yall Need people that are trained to have somebody dremel dogs nails if someone needs to hold them than thats water the need to do. You can purchase harness that fit various size dogs so that they dont get upset while having them done. They can attach for smaller dogs to a mechanism that can be purchased as well that holds them tight to feel secure.

Our 4 month old puppy Chicken Nugget boarded with Pet Paradise for the first time over the weekend and seemed to have a great time with the other dogs and staff! They posted pictures of the play groups daily at no extra charge, which was a delight to see. Staff was polite and got us in and out of check out quickly. 1/2 off first night of boarding also so make sure to mention that if you decide to give it a try. We plan on having her stay with them for over a week next visit!

Our little dog Lucy has been both a day camper and a boarder at Pet Paradise University Boulevard. She has separation anxiety so we were very nervous about leaving her the first time. We shouldn’t have worried! The staff takes excellent care of her and understands that she needs a little extra TLC to feel comfortable. She gets plenty of cuddles and play sessions with her friends until we return. Thank you Pet Paradise!

I loved this place! Brought my 4 month old puppy here for the first time when going on a 2 day trip and I can tell he had so much fun. I checked in on the live camera feed a few times and watched him on the play yard and he looked like he was having a blast. The staff was so friendly. Made check in so easy and check out easy and fast. Dallas looked like he was well cared for. I will definitely bring him back when going out of town.

Pet Paradise was the place we brought out dogs for years. We woudl typically board our animals around 30 days a year. Their employees use to love animals and provided great service. As with many organizations who grow, the culture must change to keep up with the need for more employees. Over the last 2 years, we have found that the employees dont care about the animals they way they did previously. It is difficult to communicate with the staff and their prices have increased substantially.Over the last few months we have discovered a smaller organization where the owner works and treats customers and their pets like they were part of his family. If returning late from a trip, he will meet you to let you pick up your pet without waiting until they open the next day. It is what we had come to appreciate about Pet Paradise in the past. For now, we go to Bark Central where we and our animals feel appreciated. l hope Pet Paradise can figure out how to grow and get the culture back. They have a great business, but are having growing pains.

Needed a place to leave my pet while visiting Mayo Clinic, there was pet paradise. Great service, clean and welcoming atmosphere.

I have heard SO many good things about Pet Paradise so I was shocked when my experience was beyond terrible. This is a long review but worth reading if you plan on boarding your dog.The treatment of my puppy was close to animal abuse. I boarded her there for Thanksgiving - I checked the cams multiple times every day and never her saw her. When I called they assured me she was playing and gave me a time to check the cams. I checked during the designated times and never saw her playing.When I got back from my trip my dog was Flea Infested. Even on her prescription flea meds, she was covered. It took several flea baths to get her somewhat happy. She also spent her first night back with me throwing up the whole night. My bank was also charge 100 more then the original amount, making my total over $400.When I called pet paradise to address this issues they told me that during holidays pets only get 30-45 minutes of play outside the kennel per day. They also oversold and had moved her to a smaller kennel then I had paid for. 30 minutes of play time a day is nothing for a dog. Especially a young puppy like mine. The manager was rude and only offered to give me some free days of boarding in the future, no refund, or help for the vet bills for treatment she required die to her stay there. I will NEVER take my dog back there. Ever since this stay she refused to go into her crate she once loved. I dont blame her 30 minutes of play a day is a disgrace and abuse.There are many boarding places that will put your dog in doggy daycare for 8+ hours a day at no extra charge. I highly recommend anywhere else besides pet paradise.UPDATE: Big surprise - no one reached out.

My dogs love to come here. Mr. Busby and Ginger get to board together in a suite and they love it and all their friends- human and fur. Tiger lives getting pets and hugs and her own space without the dogs. Our cat and dogs are like siblings and pet Paradise’s staff get that. This is a most remarkable stay that any pet can have while the family is away. The staff is caring, the facility clean and filled with open views. We have had many blessed trips away while our babies are loved and enjoy some quality play time.

My dog has been going to pet paradise for daycare, boarding, and vet services for a year now and absolutely loves it. They are so personable and always happy to see my dog. Its great having comfort knowing shes in great hands for overnight stays, and Ive never experienced any issues with bite marks, scratches, any other injuries that have happened at previous daycare facilities.

Pet paradise is awesome! Their customer service is excellent and I had an awesome experience booking with them this past week. My two American Eskimo’s really enjoyed their stay and according to their report card they loved all the staff there. The staff was extremely nice and helpful with the booking process and checkin /out. My one Eskimo is very shy and the staff treated her great and was patient with her when greeting them. I live this place and will be using it again in the future. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to board their fur baby. They truly care about the animals they care for during the stay.

The only place in Jacksonville that I will entrust with my baby girl. Pebbles comes out happy and healthy each time. I get reports on her progress and they actually take time to care about my furbaby! I definitely recommend Pet Paradise to anyone! They treat my pets with love. I never worry about my pets when they are here. Ive seen first hand via the camera they have I the play area, the love and attention the staff give not only my pets but others.

I had a bad experience boarding my dog in another facility previously. He came back from the other facility so skinny and weak, I was so scared to board him anywhere ever again.However, after reading reviews and taking a tour of pet paradise I felt so much more comfortable and decided to board my dog here.I am so glad I did!I loved how I was able to speak to the staff prior to my dogs first stay with them and discuss his habits, allergies and temperament ( he gets super hyper and at times he can get anxious if separated from people too long).My boxer loves to come here! Despite his allergies and sensitivities, the staff was able to accommodate him so well.I recommend pet paradise to any pet owner who is very concerned about their pets well being when they are not around.I appreciate the staff and how they cared for my dog.

Stopped by to check out the place. Super cool to bring your pet. They have activities and a pool.. I noticed the check in process was fast and efficient. The staff was extremely friendly! They also offer services as well to keep your pet healthy. I would definitely recommend to anyone who has an active dog.. or pet? Not sure if they do more. A+

I desperately was looking for the best place to keep my baby for a few days! I was so excited when I found this place! Everyone is so nice and caring. If my dog could speak, I know she would tell me she had a fabulous time!

I have never been so impressed on a first visit. My wife had been taking our Sherlock here for a few months while I have been living out of town. I finally swung by yesterday and the staff, facilities and overall organization of the company bate top notch. super refreshing to see. I highly recommend checking them out. they also have a vet staff next door which is great. if your fur baby isnt doing well, there is onsite care available immediately if needed. wow, just wow.

Took excellent care of Gunny, he came home exhausted. They provided a report card detailing his activities for the day. My wife loved the webcam access. Highly recommend, moderately priced for the amenities provided; pool, auto-filling water bowls, indoor/outdoor access. The staff is friendly and loving towards all the animals.

Absolutely loved the care they gave to my two dogs during their 4 night stay! I was extremely impressed with a how clean the facility was when they took me through a walk through and showed me the kennels, not a mess in sight!The biggest thing that I loved was the ability to watch through their live web cams at any time to the play yards and kennels! Every time I checked all the dogs were having a blast playing in the pool or the yard playing chase, I was amazed at how well they all got along!The staff are very caring and Everytime I saw them with the pups they were having just as much fun as they were! Already booked for their next stay in a couple of weeks, I highly recommend Pet Paradise! Oh and the pricing is something you just cant beat!

My Dudley Lab 🐕 had a spa day 🤩 The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and beautiful. Groomer did an amazing job on his🚿🛁 , summer cut and his nails. He also got a free day to play with other dogs and staff in camp. You can see in his pix he was worn out. If I needed to board him I know he would have a blast and be well taken care of.🥇

The staff there was very friendly, offered me a tour of the facilities when I dropped my dogs off to include their procedures for caring for the dogs boarded there, and volunteered information about discounts they offer, which brought my total cost for both dogs to $60 for the night.Granted, this was just one night, but based on my experience there, I would definitely go again and recommend them to others.

This review is solely on the vet services. The day-camp and boarding staff are amazing. They all love on my dog and know her by name. I purchased the new wellness program 4 months ago and it has been the worst experience. From unauthorized treatment and test, to conducting unnecessary tests, incompetent staff, and no one seems to know what’s going on. Each “free” exam they run extra items racking up the bill preventing you from being able to cancel the membership. After previously working at a veterinary office and 15 years of rescuing dogs this has been my worst experience ever with any veterinary service.DO NOT buy the wellness. Use a real vet!Now for boarding and day camp they are great. Highly recommend.

We get great service and amenities for our dog here. He loves being dropped off at camp when we need to travel without him. Awesome staff, great communication. Meaningful personal touches from daily pics and videos, extra play time and more. Report card at end of stay, adorable.

Best clinic ever. The entire staff was very warm and caring. They even followed up with us after our visit. They seem to love our sweet Cocoa as much as we did. Unfortunately we lost our baby and dont have any more animals. If we get one in the future, this will be the place we will use.

The facility seems nice and the front desk staff were polite, but would not take my dog as scheduled. Although I had sent the vaccine paperwork in beforehand and received confirmation that it was correct, on arrival staff said otherwise. This is why I sent them beforehand. If they had told me ahead of time I could have had it corrected. It was a waste of my time and theirs to come in and then have to take the dog home again and be late for work. I wish process had been better.

My dog love going here, she gets so excited walking through their front doors!However, for the price of day camp you’re pretty much paying for the name and the franchise.The first time i took her there was great of course. They spent extra time with her and gave me a camper report card letting me know how she did.After the first time though I really feel like my dog is just another dog they see, they don’t seem to remember how her day went or that she is actually a girl and not a boy when I go to pick her up and ask how everything went that day.The price for how much play time they actually get is ridiculous. It’s something like 2 hours total broken up into 30 minute spirts. And that’s only if weather permits, if it doesn’t or if it’s not her time in the play yard she is stuck in a kennel. Which really upsets me for paying close to $30 a day for day camp. It would be different if she spent some time outside of the kennel during the time she wasn’t out in the yard. Needless to say my dog still has tons of energy when she gets home unlike when I’ve taken her elsewhere and she’s come home and just snoozed the night away from playing so much.But that is not the case, everything is extra. I understand a business is just out to make money. But they have really made everything an add on, a picture is $5, extra individual time is $10, a go home bath $25&up, etc. I mean honestly I’m not expecting a bath for free but the prices for extras is ridiculous if you think about how much money it actually takes them to some of these things.

I have a 15 year old Wheaten Terrier who has never ever been boarded or gone to daycare. I sent him there for day camp while I was at work and I was EXTREMELY impressed. They really do love your pets like their own and theyre very attentive to every detail. I had a list of medications and supplements that he needed and I requested that he has a chaperone because he doesnt know his limits and just wants to play and the staff at Pet Paradise went the extra mile for him. I was naturally apprehensive about sending an old dog to a daycare but I knew he was in good hands and everything was perfect! we WILL definitely be returning....after he recovers from all he fun he had.

This is the first time we have boarded our senior schnauzer, Pepper, and our little Howdy, and they were not stressed out when we picked them up.The facility was clean, had great rooms for our babies and the staff was fantastic! We will definitely use Pet Paradise again! Only recommendation I have is to put a camera in the smaller pet areas so we can see them rather than just the big dogs. :)

First time going to a place like this, I needed to board my cat for a few days. Its very nice, its set up awesome, looks like a great place for dogs to go stay and have a lot of fun. The cats arent anything like dogs, they dont run around and play with other cats all excited like dogs, so they have their quieter section which looks good for cats, they can be comfortable and climb and walk around if they want. My cat didnt like it but cats dont like leaving home anyway. The staff is awesome, very friendly and personable. I dealt with the vet who was super friendly and thorough when talking to me, answered all my questions and discussed things going on with my pet. I took my cat back 3 weeks later to see the vet because I had concerns and the whole vet staff was great with me, they took genuine concern in what I said was going on with my cat even though there werent visible signs of illness they had to go by what I said and they checked him thoroughly gave me advice and instructions and I felt they were sincerely concerned for his health. I even emailed the vet after to update her and to my surprise the next I received an email back! Once again, very very awesome!

I just moved to Jacksonville from Los Angeles. As part of my due diligence, Ive visited 3 dog boarding sites to check their facilities and I ended up boarding my 2 Labs in Pet Paradise. My dogs stayed for 2 nights and my experience was very positive. In fact I just scheduled to board them again for 1 night. My wife and I are actively looking to buy a house and we just could not leave them in our apartment. Highly recommended.

I had my dog on the premium wellness plan for 2 years till he passed away. When I picked up his ashes I asked if they had cancelled his plan. I was told the cancellation policy called for paying the remaining 8mo of his wellness plan or the savings he accrued as a result of having the plan, whichever was less. I asked if this part of the cancellation policy applied to deceased animals and they said yes. I reread the cancellation policy and it states that “Pet Paradise shall also be entitled to retain or recover from the Client all Monthly Payments that have previously been paid or become due, including the Monthly Payment for the month in which cancellation occurs.” I brought this to the attention of their customer service representative, and their attempt at restitution was to charge me for another 8mo of a wellness plan for my living dog. Instead of taking a financial high road, especially in a situation as sensitive as a deceased pet, Pet Paradise pointed to their policy and their legal claim to the remainder of the monthly payments. I’ve given Pet Paradise over five years of loyal patronage and after spending thousands of dollars on boarding and veterinary services they care more about $480 than they do my patronage and dog. I don’t recommend buying a wellness plan and I will no longer be giving them anymore of my business.

We’ve been taking our puppy to pet paradise since she was about 4 months old. The staff there is wonderful and we’ve felt so comfortable either taking her for day camp or boarding. Also, if you have a puppy and want them to get used to swimming, this is a great spot. Our dog has gotten super comfortable with the water. I believe it is due to the pool/splash area they have set up.

Hands down the best place we have ever boarded our dogs. We booked 2 days before a major vacation during a holiday week and they had availability. Highly satisfied with the care, the communication and overall professionalism displayed to us. We will definitely be using them again and again. A++++ would highly recommend this kennel!

Overall good experience. I like how you can view the webcam on their site so we could see our dogs everyday. But if your dogs room isnt near the camera, you wont be able to see them.Giving 4 stars because we asked for our dogs to be bathed and they charged $40 per dog! Sign said $25 and up based on dogs hair. We have short hair dogs.When we asked why they charged so much, their reasoning didnt really make sense. They said if the dogs move around a lot they charge more, but our senior dog doesnt move at all when being bathed and the younger one barely moves.Would use them again if needed but definitely wouldnt have them give them baths! Would never knowingly spend $80 on two dog baths!

Very clean, easy to book, dogs can be inside or outside of their suite, watching their neighbors. Great place to board or send your pet to daycare!

I explained to Heather what sevices that I will be getting today for my dog. She went over other things that I should get but I explained to her that I will not at this time. I proceeded to checkout and my total was double the price. Heather stated that I thought when I told you about the other offers that you were fine with it. I said no I told you NEXT TIME!!. Listen to the customer just dont assume!!!

Outstanding services and very clean well staffed facility. Was going on vacation and at the last minute, decided my 5 mo. golden retriever pup was not ready yet. When i called for the reservation, it was easy and all my questions were answered. When i took my dogs paperwork to them, Elizabeth helped me and gave a tour and explained all the amenities in detail. Drop off was quick and easy. Then enjoyed my vacation and watched my pup getting worn out on the web cam.

The dedication to caring for the animals is amazing. We take a 8-9 day trip every December to Las Vegas and they are very well taken care of !!! Gabby & Hooey are always ready to go with the person taking them back to settle in.

We use this location frequently for boarding and they are amazing. So friendly, very helpful, and informative. They treat our dog just as you would treat a baby-- very comforting and loving. We highly recommend their boarding and day camp services to all of our friends and family. Thank you!!!

Great staff and always clean facility. 4/5 stars because the last two times my dog was there he came home with kennel cough. I know they can’t prevent this from happening all the time, however twice in a row feels like they’re letting sick dogs mingle with the rest of them.

Pet Paradise on University has been a blessing. Our sweet dog Pickle is a rescue. She was timid and scared when we first brought her home. We began taking her to Pet Paradise and with each trip she became more and more confident. The staff at Pet Paradise love her like we do. When we head out the door for a day at Pet Paradise, Pickle can hardly contain herself. She paces back and forth in the back seat and when we turn on University she starts to talk and I get kisses from the back seat.I feel comfortable leaving her in the hands of everyone at Pet Paradise.

The facilities are exceptionally clean and the staff is so friendly! Ive never used a boarding facility before for our cats but I will definitely bring them back next time we need a sitter! Our babies came home happy and healthy - I highly recommend.
