I had a cleaning this morning in which the dentist tried to upsell me into getting veneers. I have been going to this office for many years and I am not interested in veneers and have been vocal about this. I am 37 years old and have never had a cavity, instead of focusing on my little gap, why don’t you recognize that. What if my confidence was low? What if I didn’t have that kind of money? I know I’m just a number and don’t matter. I will not be back. I’m sure you are glad you text me for a google review now.

Absolutely lovely experience 5 years ago. I needed a deep cleaning they were able to put me at ease and it wasnt painful with the processes they had. The staff was professional and the front office was efficient. I cant say enough about this office. Well I came back to the office because of insurance purposes and couldnt be happier. I actually look forward to my dental visits. Smiles has helped me correct years of dental neglect and took me from the verge of loosing my teeth to now having a healthy mouth. Carey is my hygienist and she is so helpful and encouraging. The staff and doctors are equally so and all are professional but personable. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I have had here. I have been dealing with a lot of dental issues for years but never truly addressed them because of how expensive it was but here at Smiles the staff was exceptional and helped me to not only get everything done in order to have a beautiful smile but they also helped me to make it affordable within my budget. Kelly is amazing, she helped so much when it came to figuring out the best way to finance my work being done and always has a positive attitude. She never got upset or annoyed with the 50 million questions I would ask her about everything, lol and she went out of her way to talk with the insurance company to find ways to make everything work for me under all of my circumstances. Diego is another gem working there, he is always so kind whenever I come in and always cracking jokes with me which definitely made me feel more comfortable and welcomed there, and not so nervous being there. Anytime I had a problem with my tray or anything he took care of it and made sure everything is good and to my liking even when it took longer than expected to do. All in all Smiles is an amazing place with an incredible staff that I would recommend to anybody needing dental work done.

I went to Smiles as a referral from my Dentistry, but was very disappointed. The atmosphere was not pleasant or friendly at all. Diego called me to the back for my free consultation for implants about 8 minutes after my scheduled appointment; he was very friendly, but the surrounding environment was stale.The pricing for implants are expensive, seeking a certain class people, I felt. I was with Diego for almost 10 minutes and doctor Leonard had not shown himself and for the price range he is changing you would think he would value his customers.I did not feel comfortable at all at smiles and I did not feel wanted there pass Diego. Upon letting Diego know I did not need him to get doctor Leonard, he said would take me to the front desk and I informed him there was no need for me to stop at the front desk, no one other than Diego bid me farewell.My experience at Smiles was offensive and I left feeling Smiles caters to a certain class of people and I was not one of them. Now whether that is true or not is irrelevant, that is how I left feeling.I would not only not return to Smiles, I would not recommend them to anyone...I wasted a day off and did damage to a dream long sought after. Now I have to continue my search.Thank you Diego for being a light in a dark environment!

I made an appointment 4 months ago for a cleaning, I had to ask my job to give me the morning off and I had to drive my 1 year old an hour out of the way so my mom could watch her, I showed up early for my appointment just to be told that they have my old number on file and were unable to confirm my appointment so it got cancelled. I work in another area of dentistry and we would never allow this to happen with our patients, we would work the patient into the schedule if anything like this happened. I was told this is their policy.

From beginning to end my first experience as a new patient at Smiles was the best Ive ever had at the dentist. Very friendly staff. The Dentist was personable. Listened to what I would like to do. Was very attentive to what I had to say. Then spoke to me in depth concerning my teeth and gave me some informative information as to my direction and options moving forward. Very relaxing atomsphere.

They got me in, on NYE for an emergency issue. The entire office, from front desk to dentist are fantastic. Kind and supportive for those with dental anxiety. The location is impeccably clean, protocols observed for Covid safety. I was quite impressed and considerably thankful for their service. It was a great experience.

When I set up my appointment i had heard some nice things about this place, I went to my first scheduled appointment, they did all my exrays and examination then said they would pull my tooth that day, I was relieved to know it was getting done that day, however when they told me the out of pocket price I was shocked but told them it didnt matter the tooth had to come out because it was really hurting, they then asked if they could try to get me on one of their care plans, I said sure but I will still pay for it that day just to get it pulled, after going through all of that they told me they couldnt pull it that day after all because the dentist had other patients to do, they gave me script for Amoxacillin and made me an appointment for ONE WEEK LATER and I went home with my tooth still hurting alot, I went back the following week and had my tooth pulled, I am just finishing the Amoxacillin and my face on the right side is still a bit puffy and the gum area still hurts like crazy, I am really unsure if I want to go back, it cost me $553.48 I should of gotten treated better, I am new to Florida and to the area,If I knew a better place that would take my Ambetter insurance I would go some where else to get everything else done.. I am really disappointed 😞

They don’t try to force any unnecessary procedures or products. They’re also wonderful at sending multiple reminders about your appointment date and time to make sure you never forget.

Appointment times for my kids are never on time. We show up 10 early and dont get pulled back until 30 to 40 minutes after scheduled time.

The people at Smiles are very friendly. The problem Im having is that they dont seem to have any concern for my time. Im not saying that treatment should be rushed by any means, but when it takes 2 weeks to get work done on a plate or temporary appliance, or the dentist is only in the office 1 day a week and wants to see you in 2 weeks but doesnt have any available appointments that one day 2 weeks later so now you have to wait 3 weeks. Or your scheduled for an appointment but it gets cancelled so you end up waiting another WEEK anyway. I just dont think there is any reason that it should take six months to get false teeth, from teeth pulled to permanent teeth when youre getting an upper plate and a lower plate secured with implants.

Went in for a crown replacement with a quote of what it would cost and made sure it was fully paid for prior to the procedure. Ended up having to go back four times to have the temporary crowns replaced, then ended up having to go in twice to have the permanent crowns done because they weren’t attached correctly the first time. On top of all that; I randomly got a bill in the mail 6 months after the procedures were done saying I owed an extra $300. Highly, HIGHLY recommend steering clear from Smiles for your dental needs.

I don’t think my experience would’ve been bad if I were not pregnant. It seems like things were a tad bit off after I mentioned it, once the doctor came in suggesting I see a specialist that may need to perform a biopsy. Prior to this, while I wasn’t done filling out my paperwork, nobody asked if I was pregnant before doing any xrays, otherwise they stated they’d need a clearance in which I don’t have have an OB yet due to just finding out myself...however, I would’ve been more understanding and felt safe. The doctor decided it would be a good idea to be in my face talking with no mask on after knowing this information. I felt very unimportant at this moment. I work in the healthcare field and have asthma, but I too wear masks around every patient, coworker, and human being because I care about their safety and mines during this pandemic! I have lost multiple close family members to COVID. On top of that he was coughing with the masks on then sniffling and clearing his throat multiple times without it on. By all means, everyone seemed nice, just a smig careless on the care of patients, if you have no concerns of COVID or any real healthcare issues, this may be a great facility. Last but not least, I guess it was some kind of fluoride, but it left ugly tartar looking spots on my teeth and I brushed them away once I got home.

I went to Smiles for a consult for having implants. I was immediately impressed with their appointment setting concerning the Covid19. I had to call from my car to let the staff know I had arrived for my appointment, after which a representative came out to escort me into the facility. After going through the new persons proceedings I was processed by a very friendly dental assistant who inquired about my purpose. She took extra care to explain to me the treatments offered for me, afterwards she took multiple xrays to prepare for the dental surgeon who would be performing the procedure. He explained to me the procedure the approach that he would perform. Ultimately I was very pleased and confident that I would be excited to have my procedure done here.

Dr. Leonard is a top level dentist. Experienced, professional, and truly cares about the patients interests. The entire team works to provide excellent care and the techs are fantastic. I have had multiple crowns and implants done and am extremely satisfied. I am so glad to have found this place.

I really hate going to dentist. I a big wimp when it comes to dental visits. I am a new patient as of today. I was in and out in about an hour and twenty minutes, including o boarding paperwork and digital xrays. My dental hygienist had great hands. My fear of dental visits has greatly decreased. This office is a keeper!

Dr Hall and hygienists Kari and Haley did a wonderful job on an emergency root canal with temporary crown. The follow up with permanent crown was just as good as it was surprisingly fast. They were very nice, courteous, and careful. Great service. This procedure is not cheap without insurance but you get what you par for and they were top notch quality work and care. Highly Recommend.

Today I had my 6month cleaning, from start to finish Smiles exceeded my expectations especially my hygienist Carrie! The waiting area is clean, beautiful and welcoming, the receptionist was friendly and inviting and the bathrooms were super clean and centrally located. My appointment time was pushed back because An appointment before mine went over, but Carrie and the receptionist did everything in there power to keep me up to date, when it was my time Carrie was a ROCKSTAR! She did my x-rays in record time but was still thorough! My cleaning was SUPERB and she even checked me out and walked me out to ensure she didn’t make me late to an appointment! If you are looking for a 5***** dental cleaning experience go to Smiles and ask for Carrie!!

This was my first time visiting Smiles. Dr., Hall was very professional and his office staff was super friendly! I got two crowns and filling and felt absolutely nothing at all!!!! I would recommend this office to any and all in the City of Jacksonville. The front office staff was very informative all the way through from the initial visit to the end result! I was so scared based on hearing horror stories about getting a crown but Dr. Hall did two crowns and fillings at the same time, which was very impressive that I didn’t feel a thing!Thank you for your great service and getting my smiles back together again!
