Julie the hygienist was so friendly and efficient! And the dentist was super nice. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The whole office and staff are amazing. They took my 10 year old son today, who isn’t a fan of the dentist and made it easy and fast for him. The lady at the front desk is probably one of the nicest humans I have EVER met!! I highly suggest Eastern Carolina Dental…

I called yesterday and spoke with the receptionist Leah and she was awesome! She was able to get me scheduled and gave me instructions on getting my new patient paperwork done, which I love because it cuts done the time in the office. I cant remember my hygienists name, but she was great and thorough. The doctor was great as well, and listened to a concern I had with tooth. After looking into the concern further, he agreed that was a problem that needed to be addressed.

Great experience. Hannah is friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

We just moved into the area and I had called multiple dentist offices to schedule my 2 kids cleanings(ages 11 & 12) and from the first initial phone call I knew this was my place. The front office ladies are the nicest and most professional staff. I arrived at their appointments and was greeted accordingly with the same customer service and professionalism that I had experienced on the phone. I am overall pleased 10000% and will choose to stay here and continue care as long as we are in the area. The hygienist were very nice as well and very thorough.

My first impression walking in the doors was Wow!!! This dental officer is very clean. The staff is super organized, kind and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and provided excellent service. The actual Dr. is amazing. He was very good at dealing with my son and made him feel comfortable at his first dental appointment. So far so good!

I’ve always received great care at East Carolina Dental. Hannah is a wonderful hygienist and is so friendly and welcoming. Every dentist I’ve seen has been great. However, the cancellation policy seems unfair to me. They charge a $52 cancellation fee and require you give 48 hours notice. I think $52 is a bit much and 48 hours is far too long. 24 hours should be sufficient. I explained to Hannah that my husband works crazy hours and I had to have him home to watch our kids so I could be at my appointment. She told me if I needed to reschedule I could. When I called to reschedule due to my husband having to work late, I was informed on the cancellation policy which I had never heard of before and charged $52. Just a lesson to always read whatever you sign! The receptionist I spoke to on the phone were very rude when I explained the situation and said Hannah doesn’t make the rules and it’s a policy they have set in place. Not to mention I’ve come in become at very short notice when they needed to fill a cancellation. I’ve been called and asked if I could be there in 30 minutes, so I rearranged my schedule to accommodate them. I wish they could be a bit more accommodating for me.

The whole team was wonderful as soon as I walked in the door. So friendly and willing to do whatever made me comfortable. Also answered all my questions. Highly recommend them

Amazing service! I’m new to this practice. Called with an emergency on a Friday morning, was seen at 11am! So nice! I’m hearing impaired and they made sure I understood them! Very helpful, very clean. So friendly and helpful! I’ve found my new dentist! Would recommend them highly to anyone!

I always get so nervous going to the dentist but Ms. Julie is amazing. She is gentle yet does a fantastic job at cleaning. My anxiety has diminished since I started going to Eastern Carolina Dental. Really love them.

Where do I start??!! Such a warm and inviting environment from the time you walk in. Ms. Leah is there to greet you and always knows your name no matter how long it’s been since your last visit. Then you head to the back, Tania was amazing today, but honestly I’ve never had a bad experience with any doctor or Hygienist at Eastern Carolina Dental. They all talk with you throughout your visit, explain what they are doing and why it is needed. I’ve never felt more comfortable at a dental visit. Then check out is a breeze with Kim, her personality is on point!! BEST DENTAL OFFICE ever. Trust me on this.

From the minute I walked in the door until I left, I was very impressed. Staff was very friendly and explained everything well. My hygienist was very nice and explained everything she was doing before she’d do it. The doctor was very nice as well and again, explained to me everything he wanted to do with my teeth to keep them their healthiest. 5 stars to this practice!

This was my first dental appointment after moving to Jacksonville, I had Hanna as my dental hygienist and she was the absolute best!! She did an amazing job and has a wonderful personality! 10/10 recommend her and Eastern Carolina dental!

The folks over here were friendly, prompt, and completely transparent. As soon as I walked in the door it was very pleasant to interact with everyone. I was not sitting for 5 minutes before being called to the back. When I went to the back, the dental assistant and dentist were both very clear and concise about our options and pricing, which was surprisingly lower than I was expecting. All in all, 10/10 and will come back again if I need any dental procedures performed.

Went in for my 6 month cleaning and found out I was two days early. Instead of sending me away they worked me in so I did not have to come back, even though it was my error. Great people and a great office.

First time coming here since we moved back to the states. All the staff I interacted with was friendly. Hanna cleaned my teeth and was very friendly and talkative as well. She made me feel comfortable and was very knowledgeable about procedures. She always made sure to tell me what she was doing..before she did it. I was in and out in an hour.

Ive been going here for years and always the same treatment.... Like family!! Even with the COVID-19 restrictions and everything they still managed to keep my scheduled appointments. Hanna is awesome. If she ever decides to leave I probably will too🙂

I chipped my front tooth it’s a very small piece that a chipped. The problem is I’m traveling out of the country tomorrow which is March 27 and I wanted to get my tooth fixed temporarily just till I get back I offered to pay cash as much is or whatever it cost the Dr. was so honest he did not want to charge me for something that’s going to break maybe the next day or two days later and he recommended other stuff that we could do when I get back so I respect the honesty first thing refusing cash money for an easy fix that was a big deal to me just him being honest about it or he could’ve gotten paid cash for something that’s an easy fix for him. Another thing I like about this office their customer service in the way they welcome you in when you arrive to their office they’re just so professional and nice and kind just so welcome and I felt like I knew everybody and I fell right in I did not need to act like another person I just acted me because that’s how they made me feel like family so their honesty the way they take you welcome when u arrive. The positive vibe the positive energy they have it’s just amazing. Honestly I’m not exaggerating I’ve been to dentist doctors in so many countries that I travel to Turkey in Spain and Egypt in Arizona California North Carolina and a lot more but I’ve never seen the way that this office I’ll pray there’s so professional and everything they’re doing and I recommend them I rally do and I’m going no where else after I seen the way they operate and treat their clients or you could see patients. Sorry I didn’t mean to ride a long review about them but it’s just that’s how I feel that’s how happy and comfortable I felt when I left even though I got nothing done today’s visit with them. I’m going to make sure that I change them for all my kids and wife and recommend them to all my family cousins and all my friends. And when I tried to pay for the visit because still you at least have to pay for the appointment they refused to take the money and they felt bad taking it because they did nothing for me even though they recommended other doctors to get this done temporarily but the doctor felt bad doing it himself and charging me for something he did not do so it was free of charge. I really recommend them to every person that’s got problems with their teeth.

I can really write a lot of great things about the staff and professional treatment I have received there, but in order to believe me, you’ll have to visit them yourself. They are great and for 6 yrs they have taken care of my teeth wonderfully. Dental not my favorite thing to have done for sure, but they make it better for me every time.

Dr. Kuiper and Sheila were so kind and so very helpful! We dont have insurance at the moment and there was no judgement when I brought my 10 yr old son in with an infection caused by 2 baby teeth. She was very thorough and showed me everything so I could understand what was going on with x-rays etc. The care they gave us was so amazing that it brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my baby! Id give a thousand stars if I could. Also, the lady at the front was so kind as well!!

I can’t think of one negative thing to say about this practice. Reception was wonderful, clean, the tech, student and Dr were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this dental office.

The dentists and assistants are very nice. Theyve been very patient with me and tried helping me get my teeth back in shape. The only reason I rated 3 stars is due to office/desk personnel. Theyre not good with explaining prices. This is not the place to go if you dont have full coverage dental. Prices have changed every single time I have visited. The price literally changed in a ten minute conversation.

Very friendly staff and they are gentle on your teeth. Would recommend over other offices in the Jacksonville area.

This was a very laid back and comfortable environment. My check up didn’t include a cleaning. Just the X-ray and check up cost me $300. I was quoted an additional $400 to have my cleaning done at a later day. It seems high but that could be normal.

Had the best experience getting my teeth cleaned today! I have no fears of going to the dentist but I was a little bit nervous with this appointment because I had no been in awhile. First, I was greeted by Leah who has to be the sweetest lady I have ever met! She was genuinely happy to see me and get me all set up for my appointment. Then I met Julie, my hygienist. Explained that I was a little nervous because I had not had them cleaned for quite some time. She was a gem! She was super gentle and kind! Made me even want to look into going to dental hygiene school, lol! Ended up scheduling both of my kids with her! Needless to say my teeth feel great and there was nothing to be nervous about!!!

This dentist is fantastic! I was recommended to go here by another military wife because they accept tricare dental and I’m happy I decided to go here! I always get nervous going to the dentist and they were extremely nice and comforting. Highly recommend

I’ve always been leery of the dentist. But I actually enjoy coming to Eastern Carolina Dental! Everyone is so friendly, they answer my questions, I never feel rushed and I feel taken care of.

Hands down the best dental practice Ive ever been to. Communication is awesome. Every single staff member I had the pleasure of meeting, was super sweet and friendly. The patience this place has is amazing! I came in for a cleaning and filling repair, and the dentist took his time. After feeling discomfort during the drilling, he administered a second round of his numbing agent, and it was no trouble at all. The dental hygienists were personable, and just the sweetest people ever. I had crazy anxiety about my first visit, possible judgements, possible down talking, literally had none of that! Just encouragement, educating, and some humor. I feel so good choosing this place as my go-to!

The staff there is truly amazing especially the front desk staff. The two ladies that were there were so sweet to us and welcoming. The hygienist and dentist that took care of us were also sweet and patient with my son. They worked us in on such short notice and still took time to make sure my sons dental repair was perfect. My 7 year old has been in a lot of pain. I called this place today and was able to get a same day appointment. Both me and my husband were worried because we knew my son needed an extraction.
