I made an appointment on Feb 3, to have my first visit on Monday 8th. I received a called this morning that my visit neef to be reschedule because the doctor is leaving early. That is very inconvenient.

No bad comment about doctor but workers are incompetentFrom my personal experience first visit was great getting my glasses they then broke and I ordered a warranty replacement called in two weeks later because I work 7 days a week and dont have much time and they said the shipment would be coming soon called again probably at about a 3-4 weeks later and they Informed me that my glasses frames that I was waiting on are. No longer made so I said why didnt I get a call informing that of course. No reasonable answer. So then I ordered the same frames again in the navy. Blue color only option and took a month to get those frames . All in mean time. Between me calling they told me we will call you before 5 or my computers are down I will call you when they are up so I can tell you if they are here very bad customer service from my experience and will find another place after this incident.

About the fifth time coming into downtown just to find out that this office is closed when it should be open. This time I showed up at 10:10am and Mondays they open at 9:30 yet the office doors were locked. I need to find myself another Optometrist who keeps good hours.

I had a wonderful experience at the Hogan St. office. Dr. Colleen King is professional and knowledgeable about the eyes. She answered all of my questions and i thought my eye exam was outstanding. All of the staff that i met were very professional from Dana, Nick and all of the others. I picked up my new glasses today and i am very satisfied. I will return for more glasses and exam.

I was recently seen at hogan st office for my annual exam. The staff was very welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Dr.King Was very friendly and she was very thorough. The young lady Dana that worked me up was very sweet and knowledgeable as well. She was very patient when teaching me how to take my contacts in and out as I am a first time wearer. The optician was helpful in helping me select the perfect frame. Overall it was a great experience and looking forward to my follow up for my contacts in a week and for my new glasses to come in!

The building is very nice and is in a good location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Brown is who I see and he really does a thorough job at explaining things. I would highly recommend this place. The only bad part is that it is kind of hard to find a parking space at times since it is downtown. But overall, I love this office!

Having lived without glasses for decades, I had my 1st vision exam in 7 years yesterday. Dr. Brown and staff were friendly, cordial, and very accommodating to someone not used to the environment. I would recommend doing the Eye Mapping, it is an amazing tool that allows you do visually see your eyes health on a level previously unable to obtain. Well worth the cost.

Jax Vision Care: unprofessional.I used the website to schedule an appointment online. By late afternoon the day before the appointment (early morning) I still hadnt heard anything back confirming or denying my appointment. Concerned, I called and it turns out that function of the website doesnt actually schedule an appointment. It just creates a placeholder that someone will eventually look at and you may or may not get it depending on how long that takes them. If at all.Im going to take my business elsewhere and try to find a more responsible optometrists office.

I have been seen numerous times by Dr. King for anything from a simple exam to removing metal from my eye. She is very knowledgeable and is willing to explain anything you want to know. I have not been seen by Dr. Brown but have had plenty of conversations with him and he also is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. Overall the staff is awesome and tge new office looks amazing!

Beautiful, clean office. Friendly, professional staff, parking is not easy but i am grateful for the staff for letting me know about the ed ball parking gargage. Makes my visits a lot easier when i no longer have to worry about where i am going to park. The doctor i had seen is very nice, knowledgeable, and takes their time. Would recommend this office to anyone.

I have been seen by both Dr. Brown and Dr. King and both doctors are very knowledgeable and pleasant. I dont ever feel rushed through my appointment, they take their time to explain everything I want to know. I absolutely love how they have the optomap so I dont have to get dilated and that they are open late most days so if I need to be seen it does not affect my work schedule. The staff is always very friendly! I always recommend this office to friends and family!

Thank you jax vision care for squeezing my little girl in last minute for an appointment. Dr. Brown and the technician, Dana were very patient with my daughter as she is 4 and was very nervous. The two ladies out front were sweet and made my daughter feel special when she had to leave with the dilation glasses. It was a pleasant experience. I appreciate you all for being so great to my little girl. We will be back.

I would deff recommend any person to come get their eye exam and glasses or contacts from Jax Vision Care! They were very kind, professional, and welcoming. I was pleased to be seen as soon as I was done with my paperwork, and out the door as soon as I picked out some glasses. Their frames are all nice, which made it difficult for me to choose from. But the ladies up front were very helpful to pick the best that was made for me! Thank you for your service, I will see you next year!

Parking is BAD. MUST GET THERE AN HOUR EARLY JUST TO FIND A PARKING SPACE!!!!!! Customer service is sub par. Everyone seems like they don’t want to be there. And that manager is a real betty. Gave 2 stars because everyone in the back....the girl who checks your eyes first....and the doctors are really nice.

The doctors and staff at Jax Vision Care are skilled, efficient and caring. They go the extra mile to help you determine and work with your coverage, find the glasses or contacts for you and to take good care of your eyes.

Optometrist was great. Issue was the glasses order. Told two weeks. Now been a month and counting. Call and no one knows status or they say they will call back and usually dont or put you on hold for 10 minutes to come back with nothing. Now waiting on a call back from the Manager so I can cancel the order and just take my $500 to Lenscrafters or Pearl Vision.

I called the office about the hours to get my glasses adjusted. Dana answered the phone and was extremely helpful and pleasant. I came in the next day to have my glasses adjusted and the staff was very helpful. I am looking forward to making an eye appointment in the future.

Jax vision care on Hogan street is very beautiful. The doctors and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have referred many friends to this office and will continue to do so.

I visit this office often to get contacts. Even when they are busy they manage to get me in and out in just a few mins. I would recommend to my friends and coworkers. since their office is right down the street from work, I can run down on lunch and still have plenty of time to spare.

Truly zero star rating is more accurate! Pitiful staff and service! Drs. Brown and King your business is going down the tubes...glug glug glug!!! An unbranded text with an incorrect call back number is bad. An automated appointment confirmation call to me from a Utah based number is useless! Nevermind your office maintained my appointment could NOT be confirmed nonsensically. But dealing with your staff over insurance coverage and provision is DISGUSTING and their lack in communication DEPLORABLE! Good luck with that crew! May your office be forever crowded with indigent customers!

Customer service is awful! Ive called more than three times, have left messages at least three times. I was told the office manager of the Hogan st office would get back to me but nothing. During my last call the answering service couldnt even tell me the office managers name. Alot of covering up problems instead of resolving them. Continued calls and messages left for three weeks now. NO ONE has returned a single call!!! When I do reach a staff member they want me to leave another message. I will make a real complaint... to the Jax Dept of Commerce or the local BBB or better yet to the ADA or the schools that trained the dental assistants and other staff. Everyone has a boss! After a month I still have not heard a word of response...Smh, seems they dont give a $#+& about you after you walk out the door!I finally receive a return call after more than a month only to be told they didnt like my Google posts and they were refusing to do business with me in the future. The office manager made up a lie about me to tell the owners also. Racism is very alive at this office. Ive already contacted the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, The BBB and the city itself will get complaints too. All they had to do was return a phone call. Now I will make sure all of Jacksonville knows how minorities and insurance carriers will be immediately charged but mistreated, forgotten about and even lied on to keep up their appearances. If you were thinking about stopping in this office youd be better off, not doing soSix months after my incident, the office staff sent me a text message asking me to return as a patient... I told Florida Medicaid and Medicare about this office as well during my complaint process. It seems someone HAS been held to a higher accountability... Ijs

I amvery happy with the service and care we receive at Jax Vision Care. The staff are always very warm and personable and Dr. Brown is awesome. He is easy to talk to and explains everything in detail, in terms that I can understand, and makes sure I am comfortable with all procedures and recommendations.

Worst service ever..been waiting on call back they waiting three week till the day of my appointment date to call back..never recieved a call and da guy say he called me last week..I checked my miss calls and and voicemail..I called the supervisor Friday and they call today...badd company worst service never go to them ..they just a money seeker..On top of that theyguy tried to get me to buy a new part glasses when I was still under warranty

I would give more stars if I could. But Ive been going to this place for years every since I was 11 an Im 29 now lol. But even dough the location has changed an some of the people are gone they are still #1 in my book. Great staff,wonderful service,calm sitting area,just GREAT. I cant remember my eye doctors name but he has curly hair but he made me feel comfortable an explained everything to me in detail where I could understand plus I felt like he actually listened to me an didnt just brush me off. You guys ROCK!!!!!!! Ps Ill be back soon sat on my glasses by mistake hahahaaaaa

Take your business somewhere else , horrible customer service!

Staff is friendly but office is unreliable. They are closed when they are supposed to be open so I cant pick up my contacts. Never received contact prescription so I cant get contacts from somewhere else.
