Both my daughters have experienced being in Mrs. CJs and Mrs. Jordans class and they absolutely love them. I appreciate the individual time and care that is placed into each child. Ive seen how much they have learned and developed over their time in the class and that is what sets this place apart.

We love TLE, our two children have been going there since they were infants! The staff is wonderful from the front to the kitchen and all the teachers. They have had some amazing and loving teachers while there but the last two years have been especially great with our son having Ms. CJ and Ms. Jordan for both the 3 and 4 year old classes. They have been awesome communicators, Ms. CJ is always quick to reach out with any positive or negative feedback and posts pictures regularly in the app. They have also been SO hands on with him helping reinforce reading, writing and problem solving. He is a bright kid but unfortunately missed the age cut off by a few days for Pre-K/ Kindergarten. I was worried he would get bored but they have been so great about meeting him at his level and keeping him engaged and challenged academically even though he couldn’t move up “officially” with other kids in his class. He is always surprising me with the the level of things he is learning while in their class. As a working mother, these teachers at TLE really are the next best thing to being home with them myself and I couldn’t me more grateful for their love and support towards our kids. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This is the best child care facility in Jacksonville. The environment is very loving and safe. I especially adore my daughters twaddler teachers Ms. Megan and Mrs. Teresa. My daughter learns so much and comes home reciting all that she’s learned day to day. The plus side is there vegan and vegetarian food options for kiddos who have allergies or who’s family’s adopted an alternative lifestyle. Thank you TLE for all that you do for our families!

My little one and I went on a tour of the center and fell in love with it. I was afraid that my little one was going to have a hard time adjusting to going to daycare, but while on the tour, she wanted to STAY! This made my heart happy and I am happy to say that she started the next day and loves it. The staff has been wonderful from day one!

My wife and I love TLE. Mrs Teresa and Mrs. Maegen are the absolute best. They go above and beyond to make our daughter feel loved . They’re both very attentive, supportive and communicative. Our daughter learns something new every day and doesn’t hesitate to share it with us. Mrs. Maegen and Mrs.Teresa’s love and engagement shines through Our daughter day in and day out. The Director at TLE Jacksonville River City, April Thomas, is an exceptional leader and shares true compassion for children and parents. Director Thomas walked my son (2 ½ yr old) and I through a tour and answered all of our questions. Director Thomas personally greeted my son and I every day during his first week in TLE’s Prepper Program. This was my son’s FIRST experience away from home and April’s natural ability to communicate with children made the transition possible. Her staff is also amazing. Mrs. Hope is my son’s teacher and he smiles when he says her name, or if I mention her name. Mrs. Hope sends up dates to us throughout the day and she graciously took daily phone calls from me during his first week. TLE observes CDC COVID precautions and provides ‘runners’ every morning for efficient drop off. Sanela, Justine, and other wonderful staff do a great job meeting us at the door and greeting our children with smiles. This was my son’s first experience away from home and the caring and educated staff at TLE made preschool possible for my son and my family.

TLE child day care center at River City is fantastic. The twaddler teachers Miss Teresa Miss Tara and Miss Shay are very kind, caring and hard-working teachers! They are always making sure that the kids are well taken care of and safe. I love that they are able to teach them songs, days of the week, potty trained and how to be respectful at this young age. They do many artsy age appropriate projects with the kids.I am also very happy with the front desk Management as they do a phenomenal job keeping everything organized clean and when any concerns come up they are always listening and are proactive to take the necessary steps to make changes.

Best daycare in North East Florida hands down. My son has been at The Learning Experience since he was 6 weeks old now almost turning 3 he is part of their family. From the first conversation I had with the owners to meeting all the wonderful staff members we have never been disappointed with his care. They Love him like Mommy and Daddy do. That is the best feeling you can have. The best peace of mind.

When we moved to Jacksonville 3 years ago we were looking for a great preschool. We definitely found what we were looking for in this Learning Experience. My expectations were high. Ms. Annie and Ms. Allison and their entire Learning Experience staff exceeded my expectations. I have always felt that my children were safe in their hands. The facility is clean and the teachers and owners (Annie and Allison) really love and care for the children. There are plenty of activities for them to do especially during the summer. My son and my family LOVE this learning center! The staff is extremely knowledge, attentive, supportive, and provide exceptional care for our 4 year old. He absolutely loves his teachers (Ms. Anela) and they are always learning and discovering something new every day. He loves the activities, the play area, and loves the meals their chef makes! Their program is absolutely wonderful and always continues to challenge our son. Exceptional quality care and excellent educational programs.

My nephew loves his new daycare. He always has something 2 tell me about his day. He is improving in so many areas and learning a whole of new things. My sister made a great decision by sending him 2 this daycare. By the time he is ready to 2 enter school he will b well prepared.

This has to be one of the best childcare centers. My little one loves his teacher Ms. K.K. She is so patient and loving. Its nice that he has to have his hugs from Ms. April and Ms. Jackie every day before he leaves. Great people!!!

My daughter is in the infant B room and she just loves her teachers! They really are engaging and she is always learning something new everyday! The daycare is very clean and the staff knows everyone by first name. This is a really great daycare.

The front staff and all the teachers are always so friendly and my little one seems comfortable with everyone in the school. The facility is always clean and very safe with the multiple places having to badge to get in. I also love that the app provides daily updates as to what my little one is doing. I even get pictures to see some of her fun activities.

The teachers and staff are always so friendly! The infant A and infant B teachers are wonderful!! My daughter just loves her teachers and learns so much everyday! They really treat the children as if they are their own!

I have worked at this facility for two years and I must say that The Learning Experience is a state of the art early child care center compared to others. The company and owners strive for excellence in all areas, especially in the safety and well-being of the children. The parents that I have been in contact with are pleased with the care, love and teaching that are given to their children. Overall, my working experience has been great and I would recommend this facility to families on the north side who are seeking early education care from infant to preschool age to the Learning Experience.

TLE at river city is an excellent child care facility. My two and three year old children attend this facility and they are able to participate in multiple enrichment programs that the kids love. As a parent, I was drawn in by the continuity of care provided in the facility and the quality curriculum. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone who is looking for child care.

I love the staff, Annie, and Allison!!!They are extremely hands on, thoughtful, and generous. They have always been accommodating to my family in so many ways.My children are excited to walk in the door everyday!I also want to talk about the staff. The have taught my children to say ma’am and Sir. Something I wish I could take credit for but I won’t. I got to be honestAnytime my kids fall or trip I get a report immediately, as well as anytime they are sick they notify us immediately so we can get them attention. Sometimes that can be inconvenient, but the overall process is amazing. I know that they are attentive and strive to keep the Facilty germ free. I look at that as a huge positive! And thankful for this when my daughter was an infant and hardly was sick because of their precautions.Their is no competition that is on their level! If you don’t have your children here, I question your parenting skills lol

The other review must have been based on a single experience, but it is not the review of the school in general. We have had a wonderful experience dealing with this place. The keep us informed if our child has fallen and bumped something, anything. We have a 1 year old, and he is just learning to walk, so he bumps into everything. They call us and inform us every time. The teachers are great and they seem to care very much about our child!

My granddaughter Peyton attends the Learning Experience and her parents love sending her there. My daughter always says how sweet the staff is and that the infant teachers take great care of my granddaughter.

HORRIBLE! Allison seemed very exited and convincing about how great everything was there. I found out that she spends half of her time in New York and gets her 21 year old daughter (Madison) to watch the kids and she is incompetent! Allison is opening these centers then leaving for another....all about the money for them but good salespeople. BEWARE and SHOP AROUND!!!

My boys love TLE! They have great events in addition to the extraordinary care they give our kids everyday. Their curriculum is amazing and their meals are nutritious. They are everything I need to feel secure about who is taking care of my boys.

We have been looking for an amazing learning center here on the Northside. I have toured several centers multiple times and as soon as I walked into The Learning Experience I knew this was where my son should be! The teachers and staff love their students and you can tell how much they care about them. We wanted a learning center with a curriculum and not just a daycare. We love everything about The Learning Experience and we suggest them to all of our friends

My grandson Tyler attends this daycare and he lives it there. I ask him all the time about his day in school. He has learned so much there. Im thankful he has caring and professional ladies taking care of him.

My son LOVES going to TLE @ River City. With the love and care that he gets from his teachers and staff, I am happy we decided to send him to school here. The daily reports are awesome and the fact that he is teaching us sign language is amazing!

The center lacks understanding of child behavior, my son has been going to this center for almost three years. Recently, I have been called constantly regarding my uncontrollable child’s behavior. I do not see this behavior at home and I is diffucult to understand that 3 adults cannot control a 5 year old. My son has a small level of autism and the school instead of figuring something out to assit, they have threatened to not let my son back to school if the behavior continues. I already have explained the center director that what is being taught to my son is too basic considering that he already knows everything about color, shapes, numbers, etc. Is it easy for him to be distracted when the material presented to him is not attractive to him anymore. Do not bring your child to this center, they are only looking for your money and do not really care about your child and once presented with a challenge they will take the easy way out.

I absolutely love TLE. One of the things that I like is that Alison and Annie, the owners, along with other staff are there early in the morning to greet the parents and kids. I can always rely on Alison, Annie and the staff! They bend over backwards and provide so far the best customer service that my family has received. Their staff is friendly, caring and they always makes sure that my son is happy and taken care of. He loves going there and has made so many wonderful friends! The curriculum is great and my son surprises me daily with the things that he has learned. Alternatively, the daycare is always clean, bright and it has a safe environment for my son and other kids! Take a tour of the facility and see it for yourself! I would definitely recommend this daycare!!!!

We are so happy with the care, learning and FUN our little gets at TLE. In the Twaddler room we know Miss Ché, Miss Tara, Miss Teresa and Miss Lashay are going to give the very best to our daughter and all her friends every day! I can not say enough good things about all the front office staff. They care about all the kids and their parents. Many days they have talked me through some times and I know their concern is genuine. Love them!

My daughter has been at the Jacksonville-Rivercity location since they opened the doors and I could not have hoped for a better team of caregivers to nurture and teach my child. The effect that they have had on her language and social development has been remarkable. The owners, and their team of teachers, are easily approachable and always eager to assist in any way possible. I could not have asked for a better extension to our family to help our daughter learn, play & grow!In response to an earlier review, it is my opinion that the center has done a wonderful job with implementing accident prevention and follows a consistent standard protocol if there should be one. Any time there has been an accident, real or suspected, they have ALWAYS immediately informed me by phone and when I come into the center.

Our son has been attending TLE - River City for the past 2.5 years. I am continually astounded at his growth & development and know it wouldnt be possible without the caring staff at TLE. All of his teachers have been loving, kind, sweet, caring, patient and most of all, GIVING! Im pretty sure my kiddo has a slight crush on one of them, haha!Im so sad that hes aging out of TLE and will be going into Kindergarten this year; however I know he will have a successful education ahead of him with the foundation he has learned over these past few years. We have treasured our time with the wonderful staff and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for superb pre-school education for their children.

TLE Learning Experience on Wolf Bay is absolutely fantastic! The first moment we walked in and were greeted, I knew this would be our childs home away from home. They keep us informed on anything that happens during the day, from bumps and bruises ( how it happened in a phone call), every time they go potty or their diapers are changed, what they learned in the day, what they ate, most of all what they enjoyed the most. We are so very blessed to be a part of this wonderful family!

My LO has been attending TLE RiverCity for almost 5 months now and it seems like we have been a part of this wonderful family since day 1. We are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome from Ms. April, Ms. Jackie and Ms. KK.Spending his time in the Infant B class my son loves his teachers so much! Ms. Krystal, Ms. Mese and Ms. Shelly show him so much love and are always right there in the morning to make drop off a lot easier. He loves seeing them and getting his day started. Ms. Kassie and Ms. Elva brighten his day so much. We both can feel the love and care everyday. Buggie rides, outside time and learning is in his everyday activities and its perfect for my energetic and curious little man.All the arts and crafts we get to bring home are so wonderful to have and I know he loves doing them.I couldnt think of a better facility than this and I find so much comfort in having these amazing teachers caring for my son.Thank you ALL so much for all you do for us!!!

After a bad experience at another daycare, my husband and I decided to switch to TLE. Best decision ever! They are super friendly, very professional, and the facility looks always clean. The thing that sold us the most was there amazing curriculum. My son has learned more in this school than any other daycare and I feel he is more prepared for kindergarten.

My nephew Tyler has learned so much since he started attending The Learning Experience. Would recommend to anyone who has a child.

My son has attended TLE since March of 2017. I loved this place at first because I felt safe leaving my child there and felt that they really cared about the development and growth of my child as well as all the children there. However, if your child is not a saint in the behavior department, Allison will have no problem telling you, there is something wrong with your child, you need to have them evaluated. Mind you, my son does not display those behaviors anywhere else or with anyone else, only at that daycare. I guess she fails to realize that not every child will respond to their cookie cutter approach to redirect a kid when they dont follow instructions etc. I also almost lost my job because I would have to leave to come get him so often. Allisons words were I have a business to run and work to do, I cant keep spending 1 on 1 time with him, Im not his parent, he isnt my responsibility at the end of the day. She also claimed that her teachers keep quiting because of my sons behavior....little does she know, I am friends with several of the teachers there and they all say they cant handle the lack of management and being overwhelmed with a high student to teacher ratio. I with drew my son from TLE today and will happily report back about the progress hes made at his new daycare.

My nephew J bug (Jayden Pollack) is new to the Jacksonville area. He is one heck of a little boy. At times he can be shy espically when he doesnt know you. So when j bug started this day care and would tell me all about his day I noticed my nephew opening up. J bug loves his teachers and his new friends that he has made. He looks forward to going daily. Im not sure what the day care is doing but what ever it is they need to keep up the good work.

As a first-time mother, one of my biggest fears was finding a SAFE place for my 3-month old daughter when I had to return to work. TLE Rivercity was definitely the BEST option in north Jacksonville. The teachers take personal interest in each child. My daughter, now 14.5 months, is gaining incredible social experience and learning at an amazing rate for her age. The staff is friendly and always keeps us informed about how her day went. I dont worry about her at all when she is at TLE...and thats priceless!

My daughter has attended TLE since 2015 when she was just 3 months old. She is sassy, willful and full of energy. 😅 However, this post isn’t about her because she fits into what some would call the “cookie cutter” category.I am posting about my son. He was a micro preemie who was sent home from the NICU after 104 days with a g-tube in his stomach. This g-tube changed our lives. It decided when and how much food we could administer around the clock. It also determined where we could put him for daycare since this isn’t something most have seen. When Allison learned that my son was being strapped to a high chair all day at his “medical daycare” she stepped in. 💪🏻 She allowed My son to attend TLE and even personally learned how to feed him. Through the years we have received an autism diagnosis as well. My son is non-verbal, still g-tube fed, and autistic. Not what some would call “cookie cutter.” Allison, Annie and the entire staff have been accommodating, understanding and beyond patient with my son. Allison has been a god send to our family. I believe this to be true for many of the families. I see the same children growing up side by side with my kids year after year. The only thing I see wrong with River City TLE is that they only go up to VPK. 😊❤️P.S. because of my sons attendance the TLE group has been exposed first hand to the behaviors of a child with Autism. Obviously they are not doctors but when a caretaker notices certain behaviors you should take them seriously. Having a child with any disability is not what we all hope for. Unfortunately our son has both physical and mental disabilities. We like to think that he has opened doors and set a precedent for “typical” day care facilities. You know, exactly like the ones that would not accept him. We owe that to TLE for allowing him to shine his light on all who enter that facility. I urge that anybody speak openly to their teachers and directors about behaviors and warning signs. Early intervention is critical and can make a world of difference. I am proud to take my children to TLE everyday, because I know they love our kids and have their best intentions in their heart and minds.

Had a bad experiance at another facility. Came to TLE Rivercity. We were welcomed with open arms. They are warm and vibrant. My son has had so much fun learning and playing. We love it.

TERRIBLE!!! Please do your research on the people that are over-seeing your children here! One would guess that only a select few of them actually know how to care for a child. Diaper only changed once in an 8 hr period, Child has a bruise on the back of his head and the staff has no explanation other than, Oh, well he must have fallen. No phone call or anything when this happened! The staff is completely incompetent and defensive when asked about something that happened to your child. They were extremely nice when you inquire about bringing your child there, but everybodys attitude changes once they get your money! Parents beware!! Dont let this happen to your child.

Our child has been attending TLE since she was 3 months old and we have loved everyday.Theyve helped her grow and so many ways, all while educating and watch over her. Moreover, she has loved everyday at TLE. She has formed bonds with each teacher along the way and frequently amazes us with what she has learned.

Teachers are great and the facility is always super clean and shiny. Doesnt smell like a dirty diaper like other daycares.

I believe that TLE probably has a great academic program for the children, but I did not get a chance to find out. After paying my registration fee (which held the spot for my daughter) and filling out their 30+ page booklet where I marked that I opted to provide my daughters meals for her; I was told that was not an option and the forms were outdated! Yesterday it was confirmed that my daughter has a severe allergy to milk products, possibly dairy also. We had to take her to the ER for the reaction she had. We were prescribed an Epi-pen and benadryl to have on hand at all times. Well that was the reason I opted to provide my daughters meals. So after being told by Crystal and Allison that the dairy products on the menu can be substituted for a non dairy item that I can provide. Well when I look at their menu and see that almost everyday something dairy/milk is provided why in the world would I want to risk my daughters life instead of just providing the healthy meals for her! I had ABSOLUTELY NO confidence that my child was safe eating their foods! They had oatmeal and waffles on the menu which I inquired about the ingredients they were made with and was told that the oatmeal was mixed with water and not milk, but of course they could not tell me what ingredients were in the waffles. IT MAKES NO SENSE TO ME THAT I WOULD NEED TO TAKE THAT RISK INSTEAD OF JUST PROVIDING THE MEALS FOR HER (which was an option on the forms)! I am EXTREMELY disappointed at how I was treated and how my situation was handled by Allison! I will not criticize the care they provide the children, but it is extremely insensitive to send me off by telling me maybe you should find another center just because I decided to choose an option that was given to me, but was reneged when I came to turn in my paperwork! Allison is claiming that she will refund the registration fee.... We will see! She handled my situation completely wrong! Hopefully no one else has to go through this! I am now on the hunt for another center which has inconvenienced my husband and I, as my daughter was supposed to start on Monday (April 3rd).

I returned to work when my daughter was 7 weeks and I was so nervous about her being away from me. I visited TLE a few times while I was pregnant and decided that was the place for us because it was a nice facility and extremely close to work. My expectations have been met and more! I am so happy I decided to enroll her there. The staff is all so nice and they were so helpful that first week of us adjusting to work and school. I feel relieved everyday that I can take my daughter somewhere that cares about her development and I feel comfortable leaving her. I especially enjoy that I can sneak a peek during my lunch break and I am always greeted by name with a smile. Thanks TLE - RiverCity!

My son has been attending since he was 3 months old. As a person who has always been sceptical of day cares, I was nervous about putting my son in one. I connected with Allison over the phone, and was practically ready to sign up before I ever stepped foot in the building. I had no doubts or fears after meeting the owners and touring the facility.Now, 2 years later, my son has a wonderful vocabulary, has learned and utilizes sign language, can tell me all his colors, animals and noises, can count to 10 in English and spanish, and can tell me most letters in the alphabet. It amazes me to see what he has learned in his classroom, and I owe it to the learning experience and their all around amazing staff!Allison and Annie clearly show they care about every person who walks through the door. They know and love each child, build relationships with parents, and take great care of their employees, who I can tell all love working in such a wonderful place. Update: I originally reviewed this center a few months after my children started attending and have since had another child who attends the facility. All three of my children have loved and excelled at TLE, two of which dont fit the cookie cutter mold.My middle child seemed to be having more difficulty than his peers from a social/maturity aspect. This was brought to my attention by the staff and management at TLE and it was recommended that we take him for further assessments. Im so grateful to them for helping me to identify my sons challenges prior to entering Kindergarten as I would have never known otherwise. Because of their keen eye we were able to get my son through the counseling, testing and diagnosis he needed to allow him to receive the appropriate additional services that he needs to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond. Additionally, throughout his time at the center, they continually communicated and worked with me and my son to insure his success in their VPK program. His teacher provided customized feedback and instructions, and gave me great tips for helping guide and focus his energy in a positive way.My youngest child was born with a skull deformity that left him needing to have 12 square inches of his tiny 2 month old skull removed 2 weeks prior to my return to work. To say I was nervous about him being around other people was an understatement, but I also knew that if anyone would take as much care as I would to protect his fragile head, it would be the team at TLE, and I was right. We also learned that my son had an allergy to eggs, and once he was old enough to start eating their meals, they have been excellent about making sure he never comes in contact with anything that has eggs in it and they are able to keep his epi-pen and Benadryl on hand to administer in the event of an unexpected exposure. Every teacher that feeds my child or enters his classroom is aware of his allergy and in the almost 12 months that he has been eating their food, there has not been one incident. They were so great going above and beyond to insure his safety and comfort and really put me at ease.I am so grateful to have found such a warm, understanding, caring team at TLE. We transferred our two children here from another center after touring and falling in love. The center is extremely clean - including an air purification center to prevent the spread of germs! They are also great about maintaining order and educating in a fun and exciting way. I also love how invested the owners are in the day to day operations and the development of my children - its obvious they really care. From an academic standpoint - my daughter has learned more in 3 months at TLE then she did the previous year in her previous center. At 3, she is learning Spanish and sign language, writing letters and learning how to be a good person through their philanthropy program! TLE has been such a blessing for my children - Im so glad we found them!

My son Tyler has learned so much over the time he has gone here. The facility is alway clean, and the staff are very professional as well!

We have two children that attend. We have had both positive and negative experiences but overall this is a decent childcare facility.

So far so good!!!

The place is perfect but the prices for children is an abuse. More than $ 1000 a month for a child is disrespectful. Otherwise I have no complaints ..
