I absolutely love Dr thielemann and this office , the only down fall is the front desk rep is so very rude and no professional skills at all .

I am a former patient at First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI). I am extremely disappointed with FCCI. I want to share my experiences with you. I was seen at the Fleming Island & San Jose Blvd locations.1st appointment: 1 ½ hour wait time ONLY to be informed that my appointment date was changed. I was never notified.2nd appointment: 1 hour wait in lobby & 20 minutes wait in exam room.3rd appointment: ½ hour wait for echocardiogram & 1 ½ hour wait for stress test.4th appointment: 1 hour wait in lobby & 25 minutes wait in exam room.5th appointment: Arrived at 8 for my 8:15 appointment; there was no one at the clinic. Physician arrives at 8:10 but does not have access to the clinic. At 8:40, someone arrived to open the clinic. Finally seen at 9:20.I got a confirmation call for the next appointment. I asked the staff member if my results had arrived & she stated “Yes”.6th appointment: 1 ½ hour wait in lobby & 20 minutes wait in the exam room. NO RESULTS! Physician promised to call me with results. He never did.I called the office manager multiple times. She never answered & never returned my calls. AC Skinner clinic supervisor told me that the physician would call me at 1:45 on 9/23/20. He never did. Again, I called the office manager multiple times. She never answered. Again, AC Skinner clinic supervisor assured me that physician would call. He never did. A medical assistant called me to set up a VIRTUAL visit. This was supposed to be a courtesy call & NOT a virtual visit. Again, the physician NEVER called. Each appointment, I enquired about the long wait times & each excuse was, “staff didn’t show up or the physicians were running late”. The medical assistants I interacted with (both locations) were unprofessional & at times rude. I was seen by 2 providers: a MD who quickly dismissed me & a nurse practitioner who was very professional. I communicated with a supervisor who attempted to help but to no avail & an office manager who was unavailable whenever I called. The office manager FINALLY contacted me after I requested my patient records & informed FCCI that I would seek medical care elsewhere.I am sure many patients receive great care at FCCI; however, when a patient (even 1 patient) receives anything less than great service, it is unacceptable. When a patient experiences extremely long wait times, it demonstrates a lack of respect & a lack of care. I call on FCCI to hold physicians, management, & staff accountable. Please take the negative reviews seriously & use them as educational opportunities in improving customer service & patient care. Jacksonville & the surrounding areas deserve better than this.

He helped me by bolstering my spirit , letting me know I wasnt as bad off as I was told. He also educated me on the medicine I was taking , advising that one of them could be the cause of my current symptoms. Hes also pretty cool. I liked him.

Ive been going here for three years now to keep my CPAP machine up-to-date and do my annual review, check up. Always get first class service and advise every time I go. I highly recommend first coast cardiovascular!

Front desk, Dr Lumba, An his nurse are the best in the world they are all very sweet an takes great care of me especially that I am a new patient I adore them all at both offices I wouldn’t replace them for nothing else in the world

The people here are amazing from the second you walk in and Until you walk out people are very gentle accurate and sweet in many ways these people have helped save my life and im thankful for it

Worst and unprofessional medical staff and doctors, I will not recommend anyone never the less trust them again with health issues, run from this people get better care somewhere else keep in mind that your insurance are paying them is not free!!! So theyshould be more profesional.Its a nightmare to talk to a real person also make sure to check your records the add information to your records that could affect your insurance and care benefits without you knowing it (Drs making notes on your records about issues that they never discuss nor talk to you about it)Never seen so many unprofessional personnel working at the same place starting with Drs some of the drs like Dr. Daniel Thielemann very unprofessional has no manners at all, I would not recommend him nor recommend the practice hes in first cardiovascular institute, they dont return your calls if they do they will call you after hours to play the game that if you call back you wont get through.I will recommend you to get a better Dr. someone that would care for you health issues and not the money theyre getting pay for..... they lie to you they told you they are going to do something and do something else!!! Again be careful and get you better place for your health issues!!!! Youre more important than that!!!!
