I was not impressed with this Cardiology Center after I was sent here as referred by my primary physician. I felt like I was being pressured to have a sleep study done and I did not really have symptoms of sleep apnea.Didnt even check that many symptoms for sleep apnea on the questionaire. Any symptoms I had that came close to being remotely related to sleep apnea were resolved when I lost lots of weight several months later and I was still being asked if I had or would like to have a sleep study done. I had a few tests performed there for peace of mind about clots and familial heart related things and nothing was shown to be an issue. A leg issue became my primary concern. As a last ditch attempt to treat this unknown problem, I was asked if I wanted to be put on Gapapentin ( which I have seen side effects from this drug -balance issues primarily) were made. I dont have convulsions, seizures, or restless leg issues. The provider did not even seem to have sufficient enough reason to put me on such a drug and said they were recommending it( paraphrasing) because it might help with the unknown problem. I said no thanks and will be seeing my primary care doctor to find out what is going on. Also, when I came in for a visit the provider didnt even know I was at the office and was calling me at home for the appointment instead. I honestly cannot recommend this place. Highly disorganized, cash grabbing for uncessary services scheme, and if you do go here, question everything.

Ive had three appointments here so far, and the staff has been extremely helpful and courteous. All of my questions and concerns were addressed in great detail. I feel like I received top-notch care from genuine experts. The facility is clean, comfortable, and modern. Great care from a great staff!

My mom had her first visit this past week. Very impressed by everyone that I encountered here. Dr. Mitra seems like a very caring doctor. So glad we found this place.

This place is incredibly busy because of how small it is. However, the staff do as much as they can and provide quality care.

Office staff is extremely attentive. Very friendly and quick to respond to calls and concerns. Dr. Mitra is very thorough and dedicated to meeting his patients needs.

My first experience with a medical practice since moving to the area from Maryland. Staff is very friendly; scheduling was expedited quickly and I received answers to all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this practice.

I’m highly disappointed with my overall experience.When initially contacting this office the young lady who I will not mention by name was very UNPROFESSIONAL. Her lack of basic ethics inspired me to file a complaint (It goes beyond unprofessionalism) however I decided to call again to speak with someone different. The office manager was amazing in resolving my issue and getting me in promptly. Things went smoothly. Doctor took great care of me. Fast forward to 3 months later and I’m still waiting on a call to go over my results. I’ve called, left messages with the front desk and still no returned call. My referring doctor has requested records a month ago, as of today, they have yet to receive anything.

I enjoyed the professionalism of the entire staff. I appreciated the detailed explanations I was given concerning the next steps and the procedures followed by the Center. It was explained in a manner suited to my level. I look forward to having my sleep time optimized!

Update: I would like to update my previous review. The office reached out to me in a timely manner and had found my paperwork. Unfortunately, my drs office and made a mistake on my phone number and they were not able to reach me . I was given an appointment quickly and I was very impressed during that appointment. I felt well taken care of and look forward to working with Carolina Cardiology to improve my health. Way to go ladies!!! I have been waiting to get an appointment for several months. My doctors office faxed them back in November. I never heard from them. Mr. drs office called and was told they did not get the fax. My referral was faxed again in December. Again I have not received a call. I called them yesterday and was told that they did not get the fax. I called my drs office again and asked for the fax to be sent. I called the sleep center again this afternoon and was told that they get 5000 faxes a day and that they hadnt gotten the fax yet as they faxes that were coming in are from two days ago. How can an office get 5000 faxes in 1 day? I have never heard of this before. Then I was told that they had called me in November and left a message and I never returned the call. I do not erase my call log in my phone and never received nor gotten a message from this office. I told the woman that and she then started insisting that they called me. I havent even set foot through the door yet and dont want to deal with these people. I need to have a sleep study done for my health not because I just feel like it. How am I supposed to trust an office when they lie like that?

Always thorough and professional, thats why I trust Dr. Mitra and his staff with my Ticker. Bedside manner is direct and very personal. Recommend highly!!!!

Great facility, staff is kind, they got me a new patient same say appointment. The doctor is very throural. He listen to your concerns and makes sure you understand everything he doing, prescribing and test results before you leave.

The staff are amazing. They take the time to listen to your problems or concerns. And explains things so you can understand the situation. I would definitely recommend this office to everyone that wants one one care. Thank you

This was not a planned visit, but as always, everyone makes sure I can be seen. There is no rushing me, and Dr. Mitra listens to me. If you need a cardiologist, this is the place. Wonderful and caring staff!

I had any appointment today, and called them to cancel, they said they were going to bill me $250 even though my fiance recently passed away. The lady I talked to was like you said you would make it when we called and confirmed the appointment. Apparently someone who is highly depressed over a loss cant feel like leaving the house after she thought she could make an appointment. They gave me ZERO compassion here.

Dr. Mitra and staff are great! My husband goes here, and I can say that Dr. Mitra is attentive, listens, takes time with exams, and offers helpful solutions.

I was referred here by my doctor to get a sleep study so I can get a replacement CPAP as mine was stolen. The referral was put in in June 2017, fast forward to august and Ive been leaving messages for several days now and they refuse to answer the phone or return the call to get a sleep study scheduled so needless to say I will be taking my business and money to someone who actually cares about the needs of patients and who wants it. I thought Army doctors were rude and inconsiderate but clearly the staff here wants to step up the game.

Just completed my 3rd appointment with this office. Superb staff- very caring, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Unbelievable incompetence. No wonder they were so friendly my first visit.

Facilities are dated and waiting room is super tiny. There were not enough seats for all the people they had scheduled. Had to wait quite a while past appointment time to be called back.
