I can’t say more great things about Shawn and the rest of the Salon. I’ve been coming to Masters Touch for years and it’s always the same great service. They are all very knowledgeable. Not only that, but most of my family comes here too. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

The stylists are professional and friendly. My whole family goes there and we are never unhappy when we leave. They will make sure you look and feel beautiful when they are done.

I went there to get my head shaved due to chemo. What I got was a cute little pixie cut. This was done by Gina and I love it. She was so kind and took her time to make sure every hair that I had left was perfect. The salon was clean and inviting. Gina thank you so much for not only my hair but my self esteem.And they would not charge me.

I had a hair keratin treatment with Sean. I followed all his advice on how to take care of my hair after it was treated. I couldnt be happier with the results. My hair is normally frizzy and wavy and the keratin treatment he did truly was magical. I am in love with my hair, so easy to manage.The reason I give it a 4 star is I wish I could have asked him to use a non-formalin solution nevertheless he did an excellent job.

I haven’t serious trust issues with my hair but Sean worked magic. He gave me the color I wanted without having to bleach my hair. All the stylists are friendly and the atmosphere is just calming and nice. Affordable prices too! Always walk out feeling like a million bucks! Highly recommend for getting color in your hair.

Gina is AMAZING! She did an AWESOME job on my daughters color and cut. My daughter had requested purple and blue and the outcome was BEAUTIFUL! The haircut was just as AWESOME as the color. Gina listened and worked with our suggestions and the haircut came out GREAT! The staff is Wonderful! I highly suggest you see Gina for your hair care needs. I personally got my last cut from Gina and she was GREAT!😊

Easily the worst haircut/coloring experience of my life. All I wanted to get done was a touch-up on my highlights, a trim to get my dead ends off, and for subtle layers- nothing too drastic. I can actually visibly see the one layer this lady tried to put in- not blended whatsoever and very uneven. The haircut overall looks rough. At this point I knew the highlights werent going to go too well. I showed the stylist a picture of me after my last hair appointment with my old stylist in Pittsburgh so she could see the color I do. First of all, the color of the highlights isnt even CLOSE to what I wanted. Theyre almost orange and are so brassy looking, and my hair is totally ruined now. Very dried out and feels gummy when its wet. Theyre also SO chunky looking. Beyond that, they arent straight along my roots- theyre diagonal. So some highlights are close to the root, and others are an inch or 2 down my hair. I didnt even let her dry or style my hair at the end because I didnt want her to ruin my hair further. To top it off, I paid almost $200 for this. I have never paid that much for a simple trim and highlight touch-up in my life, let alone one that looks so horrendous. What a nightmare.

Mary Beth and Shawn did a wonderful job on my hair and my daughters hair for my wedding. My husband and I traveled from Northern Kentucky and got married on a cruise ship. I took a gamble and just called salons to have my hair and make up done, as well as my daughters hair. I wasnt having much luck. Most salons were closed on Mondays (that I called). This salon was closed as well on Mondays but Shawn and Suzy agreed to open just for us for the wedding, and early in the morning too. I was nervous about how it would all turn out. Suzy kept on contact with me via text. I sent her pictures of our hair and pictures of what I wanted done for my hair. I let Shawn just do up-dos for the girls however he thought looked good. He did an amazing job! Mary Beth did my hair exactly how I wanted and my make up was beautiful! I couldnt have been happier with the end result.

Julie is amazing! First off Im a 29 year old woman an really picky about my hair. I travel with my husband on the pipeline so I am constantly changing salons .I picked this salon out of random an good reviews an it didnt disappoint! If i were a local here Julie would be my hair stylist .Shes so comforting an kind an makes sure you get the cut you want. Im so pleased an thankful for such a great job!

After 20 years doing my hair, it was hard to trust somebody else but the minute I walked in and Shawn explained to me my options everything changed. He was open and honest telling me what would look better, even when that option was a cheaper treatment than what I had in mind!! I would recommend him always!! My mom also got her hair done. I have been a client of Shawns for 4 years now he is a fantastic colorist and overall stylist & person. He paints my color on with a paint brush and we change it up some every season. When I got married 2 years ago Marybeth did my makeup Shawn did my hair and the rest of the girls did my bridal party (Hair & Makeup) needless to say we all looked perfect!! I highly recommend this salon 5 star service 2 thumbs up!

An awesome, unpretentious hair salon, with fair prices and great staff. Mary Beth does a great job with my hair every time and doesnt take forever doing it! And I am VERY picky about my hair, because it comes all the way down my back and I have had others cut wayyyy too much. She customers only as much as she needs to to make it look good, and has the instinct to get the other angles right for my naturally curly hair type. Definitely recommend this place!

I am very happy I went to this salon. Theyre one of the few places in Jacksonville that puts customer service first. Sean put lowlights in my hair today, gave me a trim and then styled it. He was very knowledgeable, with over 20 years experience, and friendly with good stories to tell too! Prices are reasonable and my hair looks and feels better than it has in a long time! Will be returning soon!

Ok so yesterday was a big day for me. First let me say that Im a 29 year old female with hair that comes to my lower back. Ive always had long hair and been terrified to let anyone do anything drastic to it. Ive probably only color-treated my hair maybe 10 times in my entire life. However, recently I have decided that I want CHANGE and I started looking into getting a perm. I read several reviews online since I didnt have a salon and I found this one. First I called on the phone to ask questions about a perm and the receptionist (Shawns wife) sorry I cant remember her name right now, made me feel so comfortable on the phone and had complete confidence that her husband could give me what I was looking for. She suggested I come in for a consult and bring pictures of what I like and he would tell me straight up whether it was able to be accomplished on me.I went in for my consult and he looked at my hair. Tested the elasticity and went over all of my options. Asked me why I wanted a perm and all the right questions. The thing I liked best about this was that he was straight up and didnt sugar coat anything. He didnt tell me that he could make the pictures happen because of the length and weight of my hair but he told me what he could do and the price was super reasonable.Last night I had the perm done and it took around 4-5 hours to do the entire process. Normally, I would be freaking out in this situation because Im always terrified they are going to mess up my hair. But Shawn was so easy to talk to and laid back that I wasnt focused on the fact that I was making such a drastic change. They offered me water, coffee, and even donuts while I was sitting in the chair. The atmosphere was just wonderful!After it was all taken out and styled I am like a brand new person. At first I wasnt sure if I liked it but he definitely did a wonderful job. Once I got home and had some time to get use to it. I think Im in love!! The service here was beyond anything I would ever expect. At the end Shawn gave me a discount on the product he suggested I use and then after I left and got in my car he came out and knocked on my window to give me some special shampoo for my newly curly hair for FREE!!By FAR the best hair salon experience Ive EVER had and considering how picky and anal I am about my hair. Thats saying a lot! Ill definitely be back.

I came in with a chopped up cut from a different salon and Shawn absolutely saved my hairdo! He skillfully fixed all of the choppy edges and angles and shaped the cut like a boss. Layna has been doing my hair for the past 4 months. Each time I leave the salon I have been amazed that my hair is longer and healthier since Laynas been my stylist. I would HIGHLY recommend Masters Touch to anyone and everyone! I walked in for my first appointment unsure if Shawn would be able to repair a highlight job by another artist that I just wasnt happy with. He not only fixed the color but made me feel so much more confident by the time I walked out. I will only be going to Masters Touch Salon from here on out and will be going back for a highlight touch up and haircut before my upcoming wedding!

Thay saved my hair! After a super bad color experience at another salon my mom brought me here to be rescued! Julie did a great job on correcting the color and gave me a keratin treatment. I had no appt. and had to drive two hrs. and they made sure to get me in and take care of me! Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Truly a blessing! Wish they were in Daytona closer to me...but they made it worth it for me to even do the drive from here! So I will be going there again soon!! They brought peace to me in a very embarrassing situation. Super grateful and highly reccomend this salon!!

DONT GO HERE!!!!!!! I wanted a simple ombré done to my hair. But i left with orange/yellow hair that was basically falling out, because the hair dresser left the bleach on my hair for over 40 minutes. My hair is completely messed up and probably won’t ever be the same since it is so dead.

Keisha was supposed to give me a frontial ear to ear sew in she didnt even know what she was doing and took and hour just to try and put the frontal in and she had the nerve to charge 200.00 I will never be back in the future if you dont know how to do a particular style then say so. Masters Touch Salon is by far the friendliest staff I have ever delt with. I can always count on great conversation, great atmosphere and a great hair cut. They dont just try to cut my hair and get me out of there as fast as possible, they pay attention to detail and really care on what type of hair cut I want.I highly recomend Masters Touch to everyone.

Dont go here, save your self the hassle, money and disappointment. Got a quote for $60 just to tone my hair (no cut), it was a brassy blonde I wanted to get the orangey tones out (looking back it wasnt that bad looking to begin with). The toner made my hair a disgusting mix of orange and the highlights a purpley color, it was horrific. They tried to undo the damage and still charged me $50 to walk out of there completely dissatisfied but with a promise of we will fix it, we can do some blonde highlights all over. The woman who did the highlights was nice and did a good enough job but when I went to pay I asked if it would be at a discounted price since it had to be fixed based on their mistake. Nope, full price. These people got $200 of my money and Im still not happy with the color. DO NOT GO HERE.

Julie has been able to make something out of nothing everytime I have visited her. My hair is limp and fine and I like body and fullness. My hair is also mousey brown and boring in color. Root lift, perm and highlights is what i need! Thank you Julie.

OMG! Stay away from this place. The hair stylist seemed to be high on drugs... the brushes are dirty, and they charged me $45 for a simple cut and a blow dry that was way below par. Will not recommend ever!

Julie was HORRIBLE! She gave me HOT ROOTS then had the audacity to get an attitude with me because I said something about it! Then she mentioned she put violet in my hair for the low lights when I specifically said NOT to do that! I asked why did you do this? Her answer was its what I thought was best...OMG WHAT!! My roots were strawberry blonde! I asked for a beautiful brown red like chestnut with some darker low lights. The only reason I am giving 1 star is because and God bless him Shawn I believe did his best to fix it although it did not really work because you cant put color on color. Some of you know what I mean. So $185 later I still had strawberry blonde roots. My hair was dry after I washed it 2 days later even after paying $30 for the Olaplex, it got washed right back out because of trying to fix what she did. It was an absolute HORRIBLE experience, waste of money and time!! Julies attitude towards me made it all that much worse as if how dare I complain and looked me straight in the eyes and said my roots were brown red with a weird half smile as if she took joy in the fact that she screwed up my hair! Unbelievable! I tried to appeal to her sensibility and said come on Julie this is strawberry blonde and I got an eye roll! The whole thing, time, money etc was AWFUL except for Shawn!

I don’t even really want to give this one star because you don’t deserve it after one of your stylist ruined my hair! I’ve had bad hair service before but by far this was the worst! I showed Shay or whoever she was the style I wanted and the kind of color I wanted but she just looked at it and was like hmmm - like she didn’t care for it! She didn’t really examine my hair but right away recommended highlights instead! I freakin came out with orange highlights! And my hair was still full of gray!!! She did not comb my hair out completely to remove the tangles before she started doing the highlights! Then when she washed it- she only did the shampoo once and conditioner! She didn’t thoroughly washed it. Then when she started cutting the hair - she only snipped about half an inch from the ends ! She didn’t comb it out again to remove tangles and proceeds to cut it that way - with freakin tangles!! I seriously wanted to get up from the chair and not let her dry it! But I let her which was a big mistake because all she did was blow hot air thru it!!! Didn’t even try to style it!!! The other stylist could see by then how upset I was getting! I was so upset I came out crying from this place!!! Then you tell me she has 20 yrs experience??!!! Really!?? I will never go there again even if you were the last salon in Jax!

I liked the salon but my hair cut wasnt done right. My hair cut is layered and the stylist only cut the bottom of the hair and none of the top layers. So now I have all these split ends in the middle of my hair. It looks bad...others can tell the difference.I got my recommendation of the radio, I feel bad so I didnt say anything but now I have to pay for another hair cut.

Worst haircut experience of my life. Im a 38 year old male..went in for a simple clipper cut. First off I felt the feeling that I was in the wrong place. They finally found somebody that would give me a haricut. A few clipper motions and ok youre done..after finishing the food in her mouth of course. I literally went around the corner afterwards to another barbershop so today Im paying double for a haircut. I hate to give a bad review off one experience but I wont be using that salon/barber again
