I went to Redcast Salon today for the first time, and Im so glad I found Mary! She gave me a brand new cut and some beautiful highlights. I LOVE how my hair came out! I was really able to relax and enjoy some me-time at the salon. Mary was professional and very easy to talk with during my appointment. I especially loved that she took her time. I felt like she was completely focused on my hair and not juggling other clients. The cherry on top -- she offers Saturday appointments!

My experience with Mary was excellentI have not found anyone in Jacksonville to cut my hair the way I wanted & she killed it.She has a natural talent, and is very friendly. I highly recommend her.

Josie is a miracle working! After 26 years of abuse to my hair, she made it manageable, easy to style and gave my hair life again! She is a color magician who brought out my best features through her color suggestions and cut! Redcast staff are always pleasant and quick to greet me. Never pressures me for something I dont want but suggests things that would be beneficial to me.. and they have been right 100% of the time. Love this place! Suitable for all ages! I recommended my 25 year old neighbor to Josie and now Josie is the only one she allows to touch her hair.

Overall, just a great experience. Mary was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I love my hair now and will be going back every time I need anything done to my head!

I heard people singing praises to this place and to Mary so I scheduled and was optimistic about it and willing to pay 35$ for a haircut to get a good one and to have a good experience. I scheduled with Mary and she was nice until I asked her to make the layers more smooth. I was being pretty picky considering this was my second time trying to get a chopped up job fixed. She was visibly displeased that I was critiquing the cut and asking her to make improvements. She even rolled her eyes at other employees in front of me. I was extremely disappointed with her attitude and that I had to fight to get what I wanted when I was paying that much. In the end, I liked what she did with my hair (hence the 2 stars) but I had to fight for it. I will not be going back.

Being from a city type area I was very scared to get my hair done anywhere in Jacksonville. But I was in love with this place since my first visit! The owner is amazing and everyone is so nice, I refuse to get my hair done anywhere else I even prefer it over my favorite place back home. Go to Redcast Salon you wont be disappointed!!!

Mary did my hair and it was absolutely amazing!!!! She teaches you how to do you hair so you can replicate the look. She take the time to tell you about different product to keep your hair healthy. I wouldnt go to anyone else but her!!!!!

When I first moved to Jacksonville 2 years ago, there were so many salons to choose from; I tried a few and they were too expensive and lacked the personal touch. EVERYTIME I get my hair done at Redcast, I absolutely LOVE the outcome. The stylists are experienced and help bring the style youre looking for to life. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Ive been coming to Mary for a while and she is amazing. I have been to numerous salons and have been disappointed every time until I met Mary. I get what I ask for every time and she always knows what I want if I dont. I wouldnt go to anyone else, Mary is all your hair needs.

I had tried to book an appointment online for 5 days in advance. I was driving in the rain and on the phone with my boss when Mary sent me some really rude messages. I wish I could screenshot those here...I will nevet attempt to book an appointment here if this is their customer service practices. Im glad I didnt waste my time.

Josie did my hair today and I can honestly say she nailed it! I have been having a difficult time finding a stylist who can give me what I want. She was very informative and a compasionate lady. I definately recommed her to be your hair stylist!

Ive been getting my hair cut here for a while now. Isabel is awesome and Im glad that she makes the time to squeeze me in.

The stylist turned my blonde highlights into an orangish brassy color & took 2 inches more off then she was supposed to. I wouldnt recommend this place.

This place is HORRIBLE! What can I say? They cut my hair uneven, gave me an ugly hair color that I didnt want but asked for something completely different. They are over priced, small and rude when I brought up my problems about my hair.Did I also mention the place is tiny with hardly any parking? HORRID experience.

Redcast salon use to be my favorite salon in Jacksonville because Isabelle is the only person in Jacksonville who could do my hair, but that change quickly. I made an appointment to get my hair straighten out and ive been waiting for it for 2 weeks. On the day of my appointment I was driving there and she called me saying that she cannot see me because my hair takes to long to straighten out. and she said that she can see me next month. I was very dissappointed in this. I barely have any time to myself because Im in the military. All I can say thats pretty messed up.( umm this isnt Rachel. This was an actual customer. Im sorry this Rachel business is happening to you, but she wasnt the only person who didnt like your services. Just wanted to let you know.sorry bro. it is what it is.
