An eclectic, laid back and welcoming atmosphere. All the stylists are friendly and the rates are more than fair. Im very picky with whom I trust my hair with and I completely trust Nancy with mine.

Joe saw the mess I came in with that first day, and fixed it with the perfect cut for my hair. He is funny and engaging. I always feel welcome, like the character, Norm, from Cheers.Both owners, Joe and Mark, seem to genuinely enjoy the work they do and their customers, too. I came away today looking fabulous as usual. Thank you both for a lovely experience!

Yesterday I decided to try out Heads up. I just wanted an all over color. No cut or style. Joe picked the perfect color after I described what I wanted. The process took a while, but the conversation flowed and I really enjoyed myself. Every one there was so personable and welcoming and FUNNY! I felt like I was hanging out with friends. Highly recommended!

My stepdaughter recommended this place and I could not be happier she did. I saw Joe and he gave me the EXACT color I was looking for. Hes very easy to talk to and his knowledge and experience are very hard to come by because hes been in this business for so long. He explained every detail to me about why I wasnt getting the results I wanted from past stylists in a way that actually made sense considering I know nothing about all the chemistry behind it. I actually learned a lot and got exactly what I asked for. I went in with relatively high expectations that ended up being exceeded. My stepdaughter saw Rose and is equally happy with her. This is definitely the place to go for color and probably whatever else you need. Five stars all day long!

Rosie is amazing and so affordable!! She is the best and doesnt try to rip you off at all!! I also met the other two gentlemen that work there and they were so nice! 😁 I will never go anywhere else and I will never let anyone ever touch my hair except for Rosie!!!

Rose is an absolute love and always does a great job. Shop is nicely appointed with fun artwork and color choices. And the music is always good.

Ive been going to Heads up for about 10 years and both Mark and Joe have cut my whole familys hair. Both of my kids LOVE them and every trip has been a wonderful experience. They both do a wonderful job and I cant recommend them enough.

The lady who treated my family was very nice but there treatment is overpriced for what they do. We spent several hundred dollars here and then when we got home, we still had to continue treating our daughters as there were still signs of eggs. Save your hard earned money and do it yourself!

My stylist is someone I have been going to for seven years and have shared my life ups and downs with. He is very confidential and loyal to his customers. Mark has been cutting my hair for over 25 years... even though I moved to North Carolina! He always makes time for me whenever Im in town. Amazing and friendly people, and great service for people of all ages!!! My family has been going to them for decades... grandmother, aunt, cousin, me, and my kids. Ive been going there since I was a teen and wouldnt think to go anywhere else in Jax... even back when my three babies were in strollers, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating! For those who have posted that they arent kid-friendly, theres always Great Clips.

I have been a customer for 9 years and love to come in to catch up with Joe and Mark when I have my hair cut and colored. My 4 year old daughter loves how fun and silly they are with her! They bring laughter and entertainment to our trip to the salon!

Be careful sharing info with the stylist.. theyll quickly blast it on social media if they feel threatened. Very very very unprofessional. It was even the owner who shared a clients rants :(

They were on Facebook editing and deleting reviews..... They mistreated a long time customer and then embarrassed her. She had a fussy baby they tied up her hair mid cut and sent her out the door. The client cried to her friends then social justice. One star for not owning up to the mistake but instead used delete and editing functions.

Embarrassed a friend of mine and as a way of styling her hair, the stylist pulled her hair into a ponytail and cut straight across. Not professional.

Mark and Joe arent just hair stylists, theyre hair artists.
