I had to have surgery at the Mayo Clinic and part of the program was to have someone with me. I friend had an accident which prevented her from accompanying me so I looked to Granny Nannies to provide a caregiver while I was there. The ladiies were all professional and very nice and I bounded well with Kizzy who was just a dream. She was so helpful and attentive that I requested her for the rest of my stay.

So I had to get a 2nd agency to help with my mother’s case because it was a hard one when I did they instead just got rid of the only aid that my mother liked and stopped services since I cut my hours with them so instead of at least finishing out the week they just dropped it mid week very unprofessional. To add you did not offer to finish the week you offered to finish up to Thursday and took the the aid off fri,sat,sun completely off knowing that the aid on the weekends is the one my mom liked it was more spiteful than anything.

Ive been working at Granny Nannies of Jacksonville for about three months now. I had never been involved in the home care industry prior to accepting this position. I had no idea the differences between what we do and skilled nursing but Im so glad I understand now!I absolutely have to share with those of you in Duval and Clay counties the family environment and the amazing caregivers we have. The owner bought this home care agency about four years ago. Prior to this owner, I remember always seeing a little Granny Nannies car driving around but I never realized the work and love our caregivers put into the level of senior home care they provide. I truly see how this industry is about forming a long-term relationship with our clients because you want someone trustworthy to go into your home who will become a part of your family. The staff is no different!Another AMAZING service that I had no idea mattered so much is the fact that we, the Granny Nannies staff, are on call 24/7 even when the office is closed. That means if something happens to your loved one you will get in touch with a human immediately. Im so happy to be a part of this organization and look forward to serving many more clients.Oh, one other thing that, of course, never occurred to me is that our licensed HHAs and CNAs are able to work in assisted living facilities, memory care and even compliment rehab centers and hospice care even during lockdown! I like to think we are able to be Covid Companions when the most strict part of the lockdowns take place. Our caregivers were helping our clients video chat their loved ones. It was so sweet.It takes a special person to be a caregiver. Especially those specially trained in memory care. I think I took for granted my aunt and grandfather were able to take care of my grandmother when her Alzheimers and dementia greatly affected her quality of life. I feel so much better knowing that a service like Granny Nannies exists who can be there when family cannot. We love what we do and let us know if we can help you or your loved ones in any way!

The personal attention that they take with my father is unmatched. At first I was very concerned because of all the horror stories that you here. But after a consultation with the staff and caregiver, all of my concerns were quickly alleviated. Personal care is crucial for my father and they provide it with integrity and compassion. We have had a wonderful experience with Granny Nannies in Jacksonville, Florida. For the last several months, they have been providing home health care and personal assistance to my elderly step-mother with major health problems, and more recently to my elderly father as well. We have been extremely pleased both with their office staff and the in-home caregivers. Sandy and her office staff have been remarkably helpful, responsive, and patient in dealing with occasional last-minute schedule changes, and have also been a huge help in advocating for our needs with the long-term care insurance company when the insurance company tried to waffle about the level of care and the percentage of the costs they would pay. In the home, both Felicia and Chastity have been hardworking, trustworthy, and eternally patient in dealing with the demands of caring for very elderly, and often demanding patients. We recommend Granny Nannies without any reservations whatsoever.

My 82-year-old mother lived with my husband and me for over 2 years before recovering enough to move into Assisted Living. She had Parkinson’s and was recovering from a lymphoma and needed care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The care required for my mom included being able to dispense medication, feed (including food preparation), shower and assist her with daily living activities including walking, using the toilet, etc. It also required caregivers who were compassionate and good listeners.A Friend told me about Granny Nannies. I can’t say enough good things about how they were able to put together a team before my mom arrived in Jacksonville. The caregivers assigned to my mom did a wonderful job at ensuring that my mom’s medications were dispensed in a timely fashion, assisted her as necessary with daily functions, took her to therapy appointments, and were wonderful listeners to her as well.Thank you Granny Nannies for all you did for my mom.

This office is well run. Some of the things that make it easy to pick Granny Nannies is the ease in setting up the service, the professionalism of the office, and the fair prices. These are people who truly care about the senior population.

Our mothers desire was to live her life out in her home. In time, it became obvious, because of our ages, our Mom would need additional care. I saw an ad about Granny Nannies and gave them a call. Denise was the Medical Assistant that made the initial assessment and remained part of our Moms daily care for the following 2 years. Cestau and Marvina rounded out the team. We remain grateful for these 3 Health Care Workers whos care we intrusted our Mom with, and who felt more like family than employees.

Office staff rude, caregiver knew and gave out too much information. Would not recommend.
