It is truly a privilege and a pleasure to serve as the Sales & Marketing Director at Atria Park of San Pablo! I appreciate the culture of service, responsiveness, attentiveness, fun, and caring that is prevalent throughout the community. I love helping families and their loved ones through the transition to independent living, assisted living or memory care. I also enjoy keeping connected with our residents by facilitating the Book Club and providing pet therapy with my dog “Grady”. — Cyndi Gornick

My Mother and Mother-in-law are both living at Atria at San Pablo. I have been very impressed with the caring and compassion with all the caregivers there. Especially Katie Schott and Karen Coleman. They have been very responsive and helpful with our Moms’ care. I would highly recommend Atria.

I will start with a simple Thank You for the entire team at Atria Park! Not sure I can put in words the change Atria has made in our mothers life as well as ours. Having taken care of Mom at home for 6 years we didnt take finding a new home for her lighty, I visited and researched for over three years. We are blessed in Jacksonville to have some great care available for our parents but I can tell you that Atria Park is a step above. The quality of the team is set at the top with Linda and flows down through every department in the building. From our first walk through the quality of the facilites and team were evident and it wasnt just a dressed up sales presentation, it is everyday at Atria! In reality there is no most important task in a memory care facility as each task impacts the resident and family on a daily basis, what seperates Atria is the quality of the team member at every task level. The facility is spotless, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The food is appetizing with nice presentation and care, the kitchen is kept immaculate, being in the food business that was a huge point for us. We receive a monthly calendar of activities seven days a week, I get to watch Mom play games or dance or worship, draw, arrange flowers, excercise just to name a few. This is where a particular team member comes into play for my Mom. The field trips are a treat to get to see pictures of mom and her friends out having fun. I have watched caregivers come through the theatre for ten years and I can tell you how thrilled I was to find that Karen Coleman my favorite of all directors was the Director over the memory care at Atria, end of the decision making process for sure for us. I have watched her care for her folks as they were her own mother or father for years and it was not just a outside facade, it as well is everyday at Atria. Karen and her amazing team have my heart, not just as in my Mom but mine as well. I could never stop saying thank you to the entire team that makes my mothers life worth continuing to live on a daily basis, it means the world to me! My Mom told me on my last visit, we have a good time here, thats enough for me. Thank You Atria Park, I wish I could name everyone, you all deserve recognition!

My husband & I have had some tough times with both of our moms & Barbara & Sheryl have always been there for us. They are so supportive & caring, as is the staff. We appreciate everyone at Atria, from Frances at the front desk to Tammy, Amy, Ana, Sully, Etu, Gloria, Jerry, Greg, Cara, etc.Our moms have been in other skilled nursing facilities & they cant compare to Atria. I dont know how Barbara finds these beautiful compassionate people, but we have certainly been blessed to find this beautiful place!

Upscale nice facility , clean, very good food service. , Patient care in the memory care not up to past levels. Comment during meeting with admin concerning staffing levels {we are currently meeting state basic staffing requirements}For the cost of a premium facility the level of care is not always being met ,Daily basic care is sometimes overlooked due to not enough staff available. Let me be clear the Caregivers are great, well trained and very caring for the memory care patients .. Not enough staff to cover for vacations , call ins , ect. This can be can be fixed, I pray it does. Will repost when positive results are observed.

Our experience at Atria San Pablo has been excellent in every aspect. As a critical care nurse my standards for a facility for my aunt were extremely high and Atria San Pablo has not only met but exceeded all of my expectations. From the executive director - Barbara Matteson - to each and every med tech, resident assistant, nurse, house keeper, receptionist, and activities director, the residents are treated with respect and dignity and kindness. The Memory Care Unit provides a safe, secure and loving environment for those whose needs are greater. Support and education is encouraged and provided to family members of the residents in helping them cope with their loved ones changing needs. The facility feels more like a home than a facility, the grounds inside and out are immaculate, the entire food service team works together to create very good meals in a very attractive atmosphere. My thanks to all the very special people who work there!

I have worked as a private caregiver for a resident who lives at the Atria for a little over a year. I have to say one of the first things I observed was how friendly all of the staff is and how happy they all looked. You are always greeted with a smile and an offer of help with whatever your needs may be.If I had a family member who needed the kind of care offered at the Atria, I would not hesitate to have them here.

Atria treated my grandfather with kindness, care, and respect. Their facilities and food are wonderful and they have lots of activities for the residents. Great place.Do not use their in-house pharmacy, Guardian. The pharmacy is tough to work with, their employees are rude, and they screw up insurance billing.

I want to recognize Joy, who presently works evenings. She is quiet yet very observant and attune to patients needs. She has consistently helped my mom by putting an apron on her for meals (food spillage is a problem because she cannot see and her head is bent over and getting the food in her mouth is difficult), by finding misplaced clothes and by being unusually attentive about her dental care and needs etc. She is warm and very present. There are so many other wonderful staff members, kind, responsive and helpful. Portia, Anna, Rosemarie, Heather, Adriana, Angie, Melissa....and Maria....and the kitchen staff is also wonderful--Julia, Ray, Miken, are all so kind to patients and so upbeat and doing things to make individual patients eating more enjoyable...e.g. cutting food, doing finger food, focusing on pt. likes....
