Wonderful office staff! The appointment coordinator was very friendly and knowledgeable about the procedures I was looking for to manage my pain. The office staff were all smiling and positive! Office is very organized and again just super friendly! The Dr was extremely detailed and thorough in my examination and medical history! I have been in pain management for over 10 years and after getting off of high levels of medication I found that the interventional injections and other procedures are much more effective in treating pain than medications! I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is suffering with pain and seeking long term relief.

Mrs. Regina is awesome! She worked very hard to make sure I was comfortable and that my pain was manageable. Midsouth pain treatment center works through the difficulties involved with having to work with the VA to make sure that I have all the money met! I am very appreciative of them, especially Mrs. Regina Tignor.

This place is unbelievable. I go in and this woman comes in the room tells me that she cant sleep at night. Wouldnt sit still. Very fidgety. Weird and kept asking me the same question over and over. Im in agonizing pain and have been nearly a year . My knee needs to be replaced. I feel like these people are getting paid to hurt people. Dont go there . Go anywhere else for help. I am in pain and its a pain clinic. They are going to treat you badly.

They only do nerve blocks at this clinic. If you dont want painful spinal injections, go elsewhere.

I have been going to MPTC for several years and have always been pleased with every aspect. I have found the staff in Jackson and Cordova to be professional, helpful and friendly. Everyone from the front desk, business office, nurses, family nurse practitioners and doctors have all been top notch. I am very thankful that I have them in my corner in dealing with the pain issues caused by my back and neck.

A terrible waste of time and money. They send u to various other doctors for, x-rays, blood work, nerve blocks and then say theres nothing they can do to help. Ive already had 5 years of pain management and seen doctors Chirqui, Jones, Semmes-Murphy and Campbells Clinic. All these said surgery is not an option, nerve blocks are useless. So why does a nurse practioner at this place make the decision there is nothing to relieve pain? It should not be acceptable to send a patient home by saying thats all I know to do is there no real Doctor here?

The staff is very nice and very friendly however Courtney Steinly is not, she treats you like a number not a patient and only cares about getting your payment not your pain. I left my other pain clinic l was at for 7 years because it was in Memphis and l live in Jackson.Big mistake, first consultation went well but once l became her patient it was Jekyll and Hyde.Courtney will not tell you if she cuts your meds, you will find out when you go to pick them up. I seen her 4 times and each month my meds were not called in on the day they were due, l was 3 weeks ahead and tried to make an appointment 7 weeks out so we would be on track but Courtney refused. So actually l seen her 4 times, git 3 scripts and went 3 days without meds because my refill day was on a Saturday. But she got paid for all 4 visits while l went without in pain.Be aware of Courtney Steinly.

They have been very courteous and cared about my needs. They have set me up for a block for my neck which no one has done before. I hope this will help. Also gave me better I instructions on taking my medication. I have been afraid I was being a baby , but I needed to not wait til I was in excruciating pain to take something! I am looking forward to what they recommend for further treatment

Dr Richie is great. The nurses and other staff were kind and courteous.

I think the staff is friendly and professional. The NP managed to adjust my medications I was on from a previous doctor and I function much better. They don’t just push pills, they offer alternate remedies for pain. I appreciate that. The only suggestion would be.... when a patient is getting a block and actually sees the doctor instead of NP it would be nice to meet them without my head down and butt exposed. I have no idea what he looks like. Other than that, it’s been a good experience.

I have a wonderful experience every time I go my nurses are very friendly and my doctor Dr Courtney is a wonderful person she showed me that she care about me and I thank each and everyone that take care of me

I was told by messaging and by phone they had physicians that treated my condition of Arachnoiditis. They said I would have a consultation and be seen by such a physician. The first thing they did was drug test me. I did not mind as I do not do drugs. Yet I left this facility after being treated like one. I was told the only treatment they offer for back pain is spinal injections. This was not stated up front. I went looking for alternative options for treatment and only got one invasive option. The nurse practitioner that seen me acted like a clear diagnosis I have wasn’t real. I don’t understand being drug tested for spinal blocks. I was asked what I and my primary thought we was expecting from them, because they are a intervention treatment place and don’t deal in medications. Even after explaining I didn’t want to take handfuls of medications, she dismissed me immediately because I turned down the injections. Even when I asked questions she did not answer them. It was like she already knew before I got there what she was coming in to say. I don’t think this individualized at all.

The clinic has changed over the years & this is the BEST group of nurses & doctors ive met at a pain clinic! They make you feel like you’re visiting a friend, not seeing a dr!!Seeing doctors of any kind can sometimes be stressful for people with anxiety, but I’m so blessed to have amazing doctors!!

The nursing staff at the Jackson office is fantastic but the doctor that Ive been seeing for the past 4 months asked me on my last appointment had I had a back surgery. Well, theyve had my record for this long and havent taken the time to read it, makes me wonder. And when I told them that I was getting a second opinion it was like, well it seemed like I was taking money out of their pocket. Ill be the one deciding if I go back not them. On the other hand, the nursing staff and doctor that Ive been seeing at the Germantown Office has been awesome. Couldnt ask for a better place to go to but due to my back the shots havent been helpful.

Regina, was very straightforward and honest about helping me with my treatment needs..was a very thorough appointment, all my questions was answered.

Everyone was helpful and the Nurse Practician was very informative and explained everything clearly.

They are the best people, they treat you very well. And the staff there is so good, they all deserve a raise. I hope by me doing this that they each get the raise that I for one know they deserve.

The ladies at reception are very nice but the NP are rude as they can be. They made me lie to my primary Doctor so she would give me refills on my pain meds for last month and told me they would fill them at my next visit. She said they are not allowed to give pain meds on your first visit. They push the shots in your back and mine would be a 225.00 deductibles. I have had shots in back already and they dont work on my back. They want me to pay 100.00 dollars to go get an evaluation for mental health before they will even help. They wont listen to you. I first NP wouldnt even look at me she had her head down the whole time I was in the office with her. The second NP I seen I had to get really upset and tell her she wont even listen to me so how was she going to understand my problem. This place is the worst and they should not be able to treat people that have serious pain issues the way they do. They make you feel like you are a junkie and just want to get high. I do not even like pain medicine but I need them to make my life some what normal. I really think they should be investigated for insurance fraud. I will be calling my insurance company today and the TN board of health or whoever I need to call. Oh and I would give - 5 stars if I could...

Extremely informative visit by my provider Ron Harmon with different options given to address my pain long term. I love when a provider really listens to my problems and takes time to address them. Will continue to go here for treatment.

This place is the Rudest most non organized, non informative Place i have ever been to in my life . The only person there who has a clue what they are doing is the lady who weighs you and checks your blood pressure . I was going to a well known Dr. in Atlanta before moving here . who explained my issues and was working to correct them .I get here to Midsouth. And they try to undermine his findings and play off my issue . When i have been told by my past Dr and another Chiropractor who has taught most chiropractors at Life university for over 25 years. And is very well rounded and skilled at his duties . What my issues were. Midsouth is useless .Along with their Pre Physical therapy .Who needs therapy when they are in pain And have already been taking injections in the past. Why make someone suffer through therapy .Until after they have a procedure that may help them .Then Therapy may be required .

I had a horrible experience with that lady NP. She treated me like trash and as if I was an addict that was pill hunting. I dont want to go to a pain clinic at all but to have someone belittle you and treat you like a nasty person was uncalled for. Im not sure if the other doctors are more professional and courteous but I cant imagine anyone having a good business with so many bad reviews. I didnt even get the meds filled that she did prescribe b/c I knew that I wasnt going back after that and they couldnt hold it against me in any way. If I could give a zero rating or less than a whole star, I would.

Look, the negative reviews have a little merit. NP quida is a nice person but she has little patience that much is clear. With that said this state has an opioid problem and medical professionals have to be cautious, but she could learn a little compassion. As far as professional, she is absolutely just that. And the Lady that take the blood pressures is completely worth the visit on its own, and the nurse and office staff are nice. People should learn to have an experience on their own, sometimes it might be unpleasant but thats life!

I been a patient at Mid South Treatment Center and left only because I had to go all the way to Memphis to get my nerve blocks so I started going to CPS who does it here in Jackson and now that Im going back to Mid South Im grateful. I never had any experiences like that. Every team member I came in contact with has always been professional. I find those that are drug seeking are the ones who mostly give bad reviews because they didnt get what they wanted. Ouida Wilkes and the entire Jackson team are great

Finally finally a place that actually wants to fix my problem instead of medicating it. Listen to the problems I had and set me up for nerve blocks that worked great only for a couple of days but gives me hope they can fix it for good. Good staff listen to your problems good place to go

Extremely rude. Doctor did not even review records Pryor to visit. They do not prescribe pain medicine. You have to drive to Memphis to do any procedures. Nerve blocks usually only help for 2 months. Physical therapy is helpful but not for a chronic pain disease. Would not go here.

I am very pleased with Midsouth Pain Clinic. The staff is professional. But also the practitioners try to ensure that they do everything possible to eliminate, if not all, most of the pain. They are patient when they talk to you about your pain and the causes. I have recommended Midsouth Pain Clinic to others and will continue to do so.Tena Berryhill

I have had 3 nerve blocks at midsouth pain treatment center in Germantown office this year ,the doctors and staff are great people and they check up on you later when you are at home , to me this means alot , they really show they care about their patients, you rarely see this anymore, thanks my friends !!

0 stars. They mis-filled most claims and we had to have them re-filled correctly. Then they lost accreditation with Blue Cross and didnt tell us, saying we only owed copays, just to send a $800 plus bill in the mail. Had a complication after taking all 7 injections they suggested. When reporting complication, were told go to ER. Ask to speak to Dr only to find he was no longer with MS. Told NP on monthly visit, only to be told THERES NOTHING MORE I CAN DO FOR YOU except to continue as you are being treated. Ill have a dead foot from now on and they dont care

Where do I begin... first off, when a doctors office treats their new patients like a junkie who is only looking for meds (which I never asked for)... they need a lesson on how to treat people as individuals, not stereotype them. Next, on my first visit I was asked to leave my belongings in their lab in order to submit a urine test, hence leaving my purse on the counter per the lab techs instructions, only to discover after I left the appointment, $110 had been stolen from my wallet. I called and spoke with the office manager informing her of the situation, her reply was well I asked my girls and they said they didnt see it... sure, like theyd admit to it. Nothing was ever done beyond that.When it came to my medical care they told me that I HAD to get pain shots and take pain meds or do nothing at all. Being a person with a fused neck and arm, they never once explored WHY I was having negative issues with my neck. Didnt look into WHAT was causing the problems, simply offered a temporary fix which, in my opinion, gave them the right to treat me like a junkie.I quit the clinic on MY terms since the meds were NOT what I was after, I wanted to know the CAUSE of my issues.Thanks Midsouth Pain Treatment Center, thanks! 🤬

Less than a star..no star....please anyone wanting to go here please stop reconsider and go somewhere else anywhere...they will be unfriendly..no bedside manner...they will not read or care what your medical records say....the way they done my mother of 62 yrs.disabled..has had..5 back surgeries and has had so many back injections over her last 5 years...she is in legit miserable pain..shes not seeking pills like to be an addict...she dont want to be on them but has no choice. She has been thru so much ...she suffers so hard barely has any quality of life and has been treated by her last doctor for alot of years and when they shut down she looked for a place to come to continue what her regimens been like for almost 10 years....all she takes is hydrocodone and 2 little klonopins .5mg a day...and they told her today she had to travel to memphis to get more back injections and they are the injections that have caused her be so bad.shes had so many in last yrs they have destroyed her .and physical therapy which she does already. .she doesnt have $ to travel like that ..they wont continue her pain meds like they been doing for years at her pcp....this place truly has no clue who real people that need help to continue to live and if something happens to her because she has to go cold turkey on meds shes been on for almost 8 to 10yrs..I hope this place is happy to be killing people.....and all the rudeness and no bedside manner and what has been done I am reporting for her to the insurances as well as state medical board we are filing claims...please noone waste your money or insurance or time on such uncaring people here that cant see by tons of med records and years of surgery after surgery where she has been butchered by knife happy doctors and now lays to suffer....

This nurse practitioner could care less about you or your pain. Front office staff is great and the regular nurse is awesome but the NP is Aweful. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE.

The main thing I didnt care for is this clinic only treats spinal pain, and the treatment consists of a series of 4 shots for locations along the spine. There are probably a dozen places along my spine, and I just cant afford that, and I have no desire to undergo that many shots, especially since Ill have to go through it all again in 6 months or a year. Thanks but no thanks. Im sure they do help some people, but I dont believe it would be a good fit for me.

I was told they only treat pain in my back . They do not treat pain with other health issues I have. They do not write pain medication .Procedures are their prescriptions and you go to Memphis for all of those procedures.

What a joke,never seen no doctor! You refuse back injections they say you are free to go.They do not even treat any kind of knee pain. You have to go all the way to Memphis if you do get any kind of injections. 3 minutes of my time wasted. She has her mind made up before she enters the room what your plan of care is. I had injections in my back several yrs ago and had a bad reaction to it... would not recommend unless you want back injections...

My reaction is going to be too long to say, but I will say that Im never returning. I opted for opiate withdrawal from the medication I was on then be treated with this company. Rude. Ive never been so mistreated by a drs office in the 25 years Ive been dealing with my condition. Horrible.

I went today and seen NP Ouida Wilkes she is rude and very bad bed side manner I have pseudo seizures and she would not let my husband back there with me since he knows what to look for even though I told her I wasnt feeling good she already had her mind made up about me before walking into the room the only nice people that was nice to me and actually took time to talk to me was the lady doing my bp and the nurse before the NP not impressed I also have DDD ( degenerative disc disease)

I drove someone close to me who has a lot of pain health issues, causing her immense pain and in need of medication. The older woman in charge (unsure if she was MD or NP since I didnt interact with her personally) was absolutely hateful. My loved one already hates that she needs pain medication in order to function throughout a day, and she was treated like some sort of addict for even having an appt there. That woman was dismissive and abrupt throughout the visit, and her first question was, Okay, what do you want from me? Really? Just because some people abuse meds, do not treat everyone like that. Too bad people like her give others in healthcare such a bad name.

I have been going to the Jackson TN facility since they opened. I originally saw Ouida who always very kind, compassionate and really listened to me. I now see Paula and and she treats me just as wonderful. The whole staff there is great, including the Drs, Nurses and Office Personnel at The Surgery Centers. The nerve blocks are an important part of your treatment plan and they 100% do work. To drive to Memphis where the Drs do the injections is no problem at all considering I am on the road to feeling much better. These Nurse Practitioners and Drs are well trained in determining who is really in pain and they strive to help you get through your day to day activities with as little pain as possible; but you also have to want to help yourself and these nerve blocks will help you! You have to listen to them just as you want them to listen to you. I cannot say enough great things about MidSouth Pain Treatment Centers.

I agreed the first time there rude, arrogant and play games with patients health and time, went and took lunch at my appointment time . Yes dummy me went all the way to Jackson to get help sooner and didnt. I expected to see a real doctor didnt. This np had her mind made up on my treatment before she entered the room and didnt even examine me. One would think if Im referred to someone by my primary and I had 6 Spinal surgeries we would get some consideration while a game plan is formed, didnt. Its a shame whats happening to the Dr patient relationship due to State n government political mandates .. oh right I never met the doctor to begin with, why is that I wonder? FYI Im the one paying the bill to get help not them!

Ive been a patient there for 4 months. The Jackson office is a joke. German town office is great. The Jackson office is very unprofessional. The nurse practitioner is one of the rudest people Ive ever met. On top of making me feel like Im a drug seeker. The 281.00 she charged my insurance company for a whole 3 minute visit was a joke. I told the doctor at German town office just what Im posting. Didnt make much sense, didnt help a thing. Theres no reason for me to go there. They dont care or do anything for me but write RXs and not the ones I think help me the most. Hydrocodon is what works for me. But no she says morphin. Told her it made me itchy. Again didnt help. Where in the hell did the doctors ethics go? Because theres none whatsoever at the Jackson office.

I have only been once. Will have to reserve judgment until second visit. They do have alot of paper work to be done.

Worst experience Ive EVER had at any medical facility. Wasted 4 hrs the first visit filling out tons of paper work (I was refered there they had all my records) for them to tell me all about their panels of nerve blocks which I cant have because I am a heart patient on Plavix, then came back a month later to be told they dont give meds for knee pain or treat knees in any way. When I got the initial call to set up an appointment I told the woman I am continuing care from CPS, I am on Plavix and had 2 bad knees along with a vertebra in my neck pressing on a nerve on my spine causing  cervical radiculopathy, so at that point I should have been told we do nerve blocks and dont treat had knees.This place is a joke that milked my insurance for 2 visits knowing they werent going to help me. My pain clinic had closed so I was refered here by them, after 2 years being treated for my knee pain by CPS till I can get off the Plavix and get 2 knee replacements Midsouth charges my insurance for 2 visits then tells me to go kick rocks.Ive notified both of my insurance carriers of what happened they will be doing an investigation Im sure there are several others they have done this to. I hope they get shut down they need to be.

I find that the doctors here are really good and they no how to help you get rid of some of your pain they work with you to find the answer you need they have treated me awesome

Family member said its a joke. They want to do physical therapy see a physiologisy when they cant apparently do anything for you but a massage .and they cant make the 100 miles plus for a nerve block because its only a dr office. It literally made the family member hurt even more on just the ride this. And that dont tell you anything. Thanks they went to another Dr in Jackson and didnt have to go through therapy nor physiology Dr to get help with pain.

Went for swelling of my knees and ankles.Doctor recommended I have a spinal block and said it would help with the swelling.Needless to say it didnt help and I ended up in the Er.Er doctor said they shouldve never done nor suggested it.Smh..

The nurse Practitioners are the coldest things I have ever seen. All they wanted was to send you to Memphis or Germantown for a nerve Block. Didnt see a Doctor the first time.

They feel that if you are younger that 45 years old and is in need of pain meds then you are addicted. They will make you see a psychiatrist stating that your pain is all in your head. No pain meds given and any pain meds prescriptions given to you will not be honored.
