I had a great first experience at McLemore & McLemore. It was a clean, nice office and I was helped as soon as I walked in. I have never been to an office before with a complimentary comfort menu and I thoroughly enjoyed having an eye mask and neck rest during my cleaning. Ali was informative and quick and Dr. McLemore was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend!

Went there for my first visit today and am highly satisfied. My first cleaning in about 2 years and Micah was just wonderful. Dr Jay was exceptional as well. This is the first dentist office Ive ever been to that offered complimentary services such as a massage chair and a cozy blanket! Micah did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr Jay answered my questions. Im actually looking forward to seeing them in six months. Glad I picked this place to start going to!

The staff here is amazing! They are friendly and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Brooklyn was my hygienist and Dr Pete was my dentist. I haven’t been to a dentist in 3 years and this was my first time here. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Definitely will be going back at my next cleaning.

I had a crown that never fit properly I went back to discuss the problem with the dentist he basically brushed me off said it was fine now several years later I need a new crown because the crown is trapping food & I can’t even chew gum because it was never properly fitted. I see in another review the same problem with the crowns not properly fitted . I’m sure they’ll send the same I’m sorry it’s never their fault but this is unacceptable. In my opinion they need to be more concerned with doing the job right than with hand massages and neck rolls. Never again this was a total waste of my time & money.... In reply yes there is something you can do refund my money in order for me to have this corrected by another dentist because it will be around a 1000 dollars or more to correct this crown in addition to the pain it’s caused me from the lack of care the dentist showed when told it was not fitted properly. Strange I’m not the only one with this complaint but I know it’s never the fault of the dentist right ? I have never left a bad review for a dentist but in this case it’s well deserved.

I’ve been a pt here for several years. Dr. John, Dr.Pete, and Dr. Jay are wonderful! Una is the most gentle hygienist ever. Bailey, Shana, and Dawn are the sweetest.

I hate the dentist (don’t know who doesn’t) but this was the best experience I’ve had at the dentist. They go to extreme efforts to make sure you are comfortable (I’m talking massaging dental chairs) and the staff is great. 10/10 would recommend

I drive over an hour for this place,always great experience..from check in to check out,loved it when they had coffee,my main props goes to my hygienist chastity very gentle and just a sweet person! Only hygienist I’ve ever let floss my teeth and knows I do not like mint flavored paste and has better flavor waiting..little things makes a difference…I’m sure all the hygienist are great but if she ever leaves I will leave…

Today was my first visit to McLemore & McLemore and I was amazed at how wonderful my experience was. I found it at McLemore & McLemore.Dr. John McLemore was kind and considerate. Chasity, my hygienist was friendly and spent time talking with me about different products that are available to help with oral care. She didnt just clean my teeth; she showed sincere interest in my oral hygiene.I am thrilled to have found them and can now get back to a routine of oral care that had been lacking simply because I dreaded going.

Literally the best dental experience I have ever had! I just moved back to Jackson and chose this practice based on all the other positive reviews and I am so happy I did! The front desk was organized and had a wonderful protocol in place for Covid. Then I was introduced to my hygienist, Micah, who was a DOLL, did an amazing job and was gentle and thorough. Dr. Pete was incredibly professional and his bedside manner was amazing. Very sincere and interested in who I was as a person, not just a patient. My wife saw Dr J due to a tooth issue that needed to be extracted, her pain was the most uncomfortable pain that she could explain, they could not extract the tooth... When she asked for pain medication Dr j recommended Advil and did not prescribe her for any pain medication until I called him back and requested they send some pain medication for her to take. Im very unsatisfied with the care that she received. I will not be going back to this dentist after going to them for the last several years. It is unacceptable that you do not offer a patient pain medication, after an attempted extraction, which was not successful and then tell them to take Advil and Motrin... Which are the same things if yall did not know this.

Being so afraid of the dentist and having a dental phobia I was nearly in panic mode, but this is such a relaxing environment. All staff was absolutely amazing! They made the process so comfortable and convenient. Very welcoming and personalized to your needs. They do not rush you through and they take the time to explain the details. However, I was in and out in 30 minutes. I had to be referred to an oral surgeon but will definitely be back. Found my home dental office. Thank you! 😁

You will not find a better Dentist office than McLemore & McLemore!Out of the 17 different Dental offices that I have dealt with over the years in West TN(for myself and other family members), NONE of the others even compare to this one! From the time I called to schedule my first appointment to checking in and having work done, they made everything completely painless.Dr. Jay McLemore is extremely compassionate.He did extraordinary work, that several other dentists claimed to be impossible by stating that crowns or implants were my only viable options. Dr. Jay chose to do the work that was best for me, not the work that would make him the most money, that is not something that you see everyday! I was shocked at how great my teeth looked when he was done, but I couldn’t even show it because my mouth was numb.The receptionists will do everything they can to work around your schedule and make sure that you know prices before any work is done.

I had a problem with one of my teeth. My regular dentist literally saw me for less than 1 minute and determined I needed a root canal without at least taking a look under the current crown or giving me the time of the day to help me understand why or give me alternatives. I researched the dentists in town and came across McLemore - they had good reviews so I figured I would give them a try. I am happy to say that Dr. Jay was not only compassionate and listened to my concerns but he was able to simply take the crown off, fix a small hole and cement it back. I am really happy I found a new dentist and my terrible dental anxiety has been put at ease as well. Thank you!

The first time at a new dentist can be kind of scary, but these guys were very friendly and provided plenty of education during my x-rays and cleaning. Ill be using them as my regular dentists as long as Im in the area, I think. :) Definitely recommend. (Plus, the complementary services are nice, and Ive never seen those at a dentist before.)

The McLemore & McLemore dental office is more like a relaxing day at the spa. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. There are several other complimentary services offered during the dental visit that make them one of a kind in my opinion. It’s a wonderful experience every time I go there! The staff is extremely courteous and very attentive. And the complementary relaxation options offered are a wonderful relaxing way to ease your mind from the stresses of the day. I always feel like I’ve been at the spa when I leave. I mean I even mentioned my lips were dry and they brought me some chap stick as I was getting my hand massage. My husband and I both go there and it’s always a great experience!

This is an updated review after my regular visit in May. McLemore & McLemore continues to be way above the norm for any dentist Ive ever been to or heard about. The environment is very pleasant and professional. Some of the little extra “spa” services have been suspended due to necessary Covid protocols but the staff continues to demonstrate a caring, compassionate, and competent attitude. The dentists, all 3 of them, are excellent and thorough. And , the hygienists are great too. Una is the hygienist I use; I’d give her 5 stars for sure. I highly recommend McLemore & McLemore DDS.

Will never go back!After my cleaning and being told insurance pays 100% they billed me $80 for what the insurance allegedly didn’t cover.Insurance covers a negotiated fee and then they are to write off the overage. Nope they passed the overage onto me.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. The relaxing music and neck massage really helped create an enjoyable experience. It was nice to get a good report on the condition of my teeth.

I loved the parafin hand experience I had b4 the actual cleaning of my teeth! Everyone is so nice and professional. They answer all your questions in words you can understand easily with great mannerisms. I appreciate that. And last but not least, Dr J is very gentle. I have a severe fear of dentist & the tools that they use but he’s so gentle , he tells you when & what he’s about to do & that he’s about to touch you. Great dentist!!

My first visit to McLemore & McLemore was delightful. I admittedly had put off finding a new dentist when I moved to the area for some time, but now I wonder why. The office is very clean, everyone is very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. They offer complimentary services designed to help distract you from dental work and help you feel quite at ease. Ill likely keep up with regular appointments after my initial visit because dental work doesnt seem so frightening now.

One of the best dental offices I have ever seen. A great experience from the moment you enter the door. The waiting area is calm and relaxing with flavored water, fish tanks, calm music, and relaxing waterfalls. the front door staff are always accommodating. They give you a spa experience here at McLemore & McLemore with a menu of options to try, all tailored to make your experience enjoyable. The dental assistants and hygienist are very professional and thorough. Dr. Pete and Dr. John are always nice and professional, attentive to your needs. I have to say this is one dentist visit that you will look forward to instead of dreading! Tell them Damon Mays sent you and they will treat you even extra special!!

Went for the 1st time for a cleaning, and if youre youre reading this you gotta hear me out...The service was great and my hygienist did an awesome job! Now, if youre looking for a good family-friendly dentist, this should be enough, BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!!! I had a hand massage, paraffin hand treatment, neck massage, neck pillow, free tea, free coffee, super comfy chairs and they gave me a Water bottle full of goodies... Yes people, i said GOODIES!!! Nuff Said! Mike Drop! Who doesnt like goodies?! You definitely need to visit them for your next cleaning appointment. Youre teeth will thank you, your hands will thank you, your back will thank you, your neck will thank you and your heart will thank you too, because youll be as happy as a butchers dog!

I have never experienced anything like it. I got a neck massage before my cleaning and a hand massage during for no extra charge. The customer service on the phone, at check in and check out was fantastic and Camille got my teeth as clean as theyve ever been! I will never go anywhere else.

I’ll admit I still hated going to the dentist and definitely put off going when I finally had the time. The staff here was so welcoming and the spa services actually helped distract me from my fears. Im sure they will have a rebuttal, but I went to Dr. Jay 5 times to get crowns for my four front teeth. They were either to short or to long or the wrong color. The office manager needs to go to an anger management class and learn some social skills. One time she kicked me out of the office. I was trying to tell her how disappointed I was with my dentist. They owed me $609 because I overpaid, and it took 2 months to get that back when I knew my insurance had already paid. The office manager treated me very unprofessionally. She even asked me if I thought they should pay me for coming there. I will never will go back there. Very unprofessional.

Truly professional and courteous staff. From the moment I get there, I know they will take great care of me. They went far above and beyond to ensure that I was well taken care of. I know I will continue getting all of my dental needs from them for years to come.

Dr. john and his team are absolutely top notch when it comes to professionalism, care, knowledge and skills. I’ve had complications from previous dental work not completed by Dr. John, and he has fixed every issue above and beyond what was expected.
