Ed Jansen was very nice and knowledgeable about our old boiler system. He has done a lot of repairs on it over the years Repair was quick and easy. Nice company to deal with. I would certainly recommend them.

October 22, 2021, we had insulation added to our attic. Not clearly understanding how the process went, I asked Albert questions without feeling like an idiot. Albert was kind, patient and made sure I understood everything. Albert and Ian work very well together. They both made sure they cleaned up their mess and that us as a customer was happy. I would recommend them for any insulation jobs.

Gunner replaced our old gas water heater with a new hybrid heat pump. He did excellent work, was professional, on time, thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. Definitely recommend and will use Halco again for any plumbing and heating needs.

Had Halco in on Monday for furnace, replacing a thermo-coupler, now I have heat. Chris was great. Today, I attempted to replace my outdoor faucet and broke the pipe. Naturally, I called for an emergency repair and they were able to fit me in. Mark was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Highly recommend them.

The technician Pete has serviced our furnace several times. He is always pleasant and it is a pleasure to see him . He stands by his work and I trust he knows what needs to be done to keep our furnace up and running. He goes above and beyond and always takes the time to explain to me what needs to be done. Installed insulation to underbelly of mobile home and installed a new water heater. When we left the house and came back there was not a trace of scrap or waste to tell they had been there, and already we are noticing our home if more heat efficient. The floor is warmer and I no longer hear the water heater popping like popcorn every time I use the hot water faucet. It takes two blasts of the furnace to bring up the home temperature when it used to run about six times to get to the same warmth. They were polite and very knowledgeable at their job. I would hire them for other HVAC work in the future.

I have been a HALCO customer for many years. In addition to the heating system, they maintain the water filtration system (which they installed) and do all the electrical and plumbing work in this house. Always accommodating on scheduling, excellent work, courteous employees.

I had the pleasure of meeting Albert and Ian when they came to do the spray foam insulation on the underneath of my trailer. They were very respectful and polite. They had our best interest at heart and made it ventilate and fewer fumes for the sake of my children. They are wonderful people and Im glad I got to meet them.. Steve did an amazing job repairing my AC unit which needed a new coil. He was very professional and very thorough with his work. The install was very neat and tidy. He even replaced some items at no cost that were worn down.

I can honestly say I love having a service contract w/ Halco. They have done so much work in my house. Good quality work, friendly, knowledgeable techs. Always accommodate me when I need their help. Halco/Snug Planet is installing a geothermal heat pump for us. Replacing a fuel oil boiler in 1850 house. They just installed the ground loop; we were pleased with the install crew. They communicated well and even saved a few antique bottles for us that appeared when they dug the trench.

The Halco technician came to perform annual maintenance on our geothermal system prior to winter. Like all Halco staff with whom I have interacted, he was professional, pleasant, and diligent. He seemed to be knowledgeable and experienced. Halco is wonderful.

I contacted Halco for information on different heating systems for my home. I was looking to go with a new electric system. I was told by another company that my hot water boiler may be over heating. When Chris arrived all masked up he took his time listening to my concerns. He went outside and looked at my heater, boiler, under my mobile home, went all around making sure my place was ready for winter. Gave me so much information on my heating system. This is one of those times.Halco sent Jim Rickey to our home for a full home-energy assessment and to obtain a quote for central AC and new boiler installations. From the moment Jim arrived to the moment he left, the entire visit was a pleasure. Jim was very knowledgeable and went into great detail with his answers to all my questions.Jim also went into the full history of Halco, how it started and grew to what it is today -- one of the largest HVAC companies in the United States. The company seems to pride themselves on lifetime customers, and that is obviously apparent with their end-to-end customer service. I believe theyve acquired another in me.

Very professional overall. Really liked the Quality inspection after all work was done. If you can get George Aiken as the technician you will be really pleased both upfront and downstream with his knowledge and commitment to a great job. We got an energy audit, then insulation, then a split system with heat pumps installed fpr A/C and heat. Halco is expert at obtaining available grant money and rebates from New York State Programs and NYSEG to greatly minimize the cost. Try them, you will be very pleased!!!

We replaced a cranky water heater with a new hybrid water heater. Everything from initial contact and estimate through to completion went smoothly and efficiently. Geno, our service technician, was prompt, friendly, and very good with communication and explanation. Installation was tidy and professional.

They installed a vapor barrier in the cross space beneath the house. They also applied foam to the ridge plate in the basement and the fieldstone in the crawlspace. They were very thorough and professional.

Jason knows his business and I have high confidence everytime he shows up. As usual he did a great job and is friendly and professional. Two errors were made, the first being forgetting to turn down ac after testing and forgetting to turn back on the shut off for the hot water. From introduction to when the job done. I was impressed with Al and Ian. They both were very professional yet easy going. They worked quickly yet efficiently and explained everything they had to do. We ran into a small hiccup at the end that had nothing to do with the work they had just done - to which they could have left at that point. However, instead of leaving they stayed until RG&E were available to come out, get the gas turned back on and rechecked that all my appliances were working good and that the house was safe with no gas leaks. We had great conversation while we were waiting and the guys got over jellied peanut butter and jelly sandwiches 🥪 but they were well deserved! Both gentlemen were well mannered and I am very thankful for having them be the ones on the job today, not sure if I would have gotten the same 5 Star service that I did today with anyone else. I reached out to Halco for an estimate on a new gas furnace. I am still collecting estimates, however, Halco is definately in the running, and I was very pleased with their presentation, their clear understanding and honesty of what I need to replace the furnace, and their no pressure attitude.

Halco was one of three companies we received quotes from. They fell around the middle price wise, but they promised a late July install and they stayed true to that (others were August). While I had a bit of sticker shock at first they are definitely worth the cost. Both technicians worked efficiently and professionally over the 3 day install. They kept our house clean were very helpful with all my questions. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with Halco. (And the money I’ll save from not having to run electric baseboard heat.)

Hot water heater was not working. Serviceman came out within 30 minutes and did a full check of the ventilation and fixed the problem.
