Wes did a great job replacing the electrical equipment in the house, from the utility line to the panel, along with some additional wiring work. He helped me out in a pinch several times, and the Nyseg inspectors complimented his work. Would definitely recommend.

I called Eco Electrical Contractors of Ithaca, NY on a Thursday and talked with Wes about giving me a quote on installing a floodlight on the back of my house. Initially he said he could come and look at it on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week. During our conversation he said that actually he was going to be working in our town the following day (Friday) and would try to stop over then. He didnt make it the next day and didnt call to set up another day for the following week. I waited until the beginning of the following week to call him again in an attempt to schedule a day and time that he could come look at the project. After six or seven more calls spread over the following two weeks or more without even the courtesy of a return call, much less an actual quote, I gave up trying to do business with him. I have started contacting other contractors which seem much more interested in doing the work for me. Two have not only returned my call, but have actually come over to look at the project. One of those has given me a fairly reasonable quote already and the other will have his quote to me in the next few days. Eco Electrical Contractors other two reviews from two years ago and four years ago claim that he does great work, but Ill never know. From my personal experience in trying to deal with him he seems to lack the professional ethics required to even simply return a phone call. I gave him one star because I didnt think I was permitted to give him zero.

Wes exceeded my expectations and did outstanding electrical work. He’s got a lot of experience, explains everything clearly, and I trust the work that he does. After being led to believe by another big name electrician company that we’d be tearing our house apart to rewire everything and paying “easily thousands”, we were left powerless in half the house in the middle of winter, we contacted Wes... he was responsive and showed up during a snowstorm at night. He troubleshooted the problem logically, came up with a solution that worked with the existing wiring that led to a number of upgrades, completed the job in under 2 days. Cant say enogh good things about Wes, he really did a great job! I bought a house that was once a trailer with an extention that was added on. Long story short, the electic work was done previouse was just a mess and very confusing to say the least. Wes went though and installed a brand new breaker box and rewired the entire house. Everthing is now is as it should be and when i have a friend that needs electical i refer him all time. Very very satisfied with his work.
