I had an amazing massage experience. Rebekah was really wonderful, she focused on the problem areas and also provided me some tips. I walked out with relaxed and pain free shoulders. The staff at August noon spa was very courteous, this will be my go to spa now onwards!

I have been to August Moon Spa on more then one occasion and I have alway had an wonderful experience! However the last experience having a poultice massage was next level!! My therapist, Jazmine was absolutely incredible adept and efficient at the her practice! After my visit I felt rejuvenated and refreshed. The experience helped me to alleviate tension an and muscle cramps and increased my circulation. The experience was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend August Moon of you want to feel invigorated and relieved!

August Moon is my favorite spa in Ithaca. I’m a bit of a spa junkie and have been to spas across the country and even a few internationally. August moon is up there with the best I’ve visited. Their staff is professional and personable. Their facilities are calming and private. Their house made products are mostly local and vegan! Even through covid they have been able to maintain impeccable service.If you have aches and pains and need a massage, see Rebekah. She is a miracle worker. I have been going biweekly since I had my first session with her (with a covid break in the middle). And now that I’m moving away, she’s going to need a new favorite client ;)Every time I visit Ithaca in the future, I’ll be sure to come back here and request her.

Very friendly and professional service. This is part of the bigger La Tourelle Hotel business, but you don’t need to be a guest to book a reservation. Due to COVID restrictions couples massages in the same room are currently not available. Furthermore, you won’t have the full menu available at this time. If you book a couples massage, each of you will be treated in a separate room. Our massage therapists were awesome, and this is highly recommended. Last but not least, please note that they are in the process of renovating the facilities, so the photos available do not show what you will get at the moment. However, the alternate location does not lower service or experience in my opinion.

Great massage

I went to my friends bachelorette party at August Moon Spa and it was a real highlight to her wedding weekend. We were able to chat and re-unite in the tranquility room and everyone really enjoyed their treatments. It was nice to be able to use the sauna and steam room as well. Very fun, experience and everything went smoothly. Thank you!

Most amazing spa experience

This is a hard place to review. The services were excellent! I had an algae wrap and my husband and I had a couples massage. The 3 star review is due to the facility. The spa needs to be updated. Chairs in the tranquility area were fabric that makes me think hard to clean. Paint peeling in the ladies locker. The rooms were very dark from the onset. I get lowering the lights for relaxation but I also like to see that everything is clean. I hope some updates are made becase the services were really excellent.

Beautiful spa, very serene. Talented massage therapists and aestheticians. Steam room and sauna in the locker room. Lots of clean towels. Sometimes there is sugar scrub in the locker room, sometimes not. Sometimes the soap in the showers is empty. Plenty of hot water. Over all so relaxing.

Incredible 60 min massage

Since I reviewed for a Hawaii & Asian following;- Hoping this place does some remodel of the womens side. I didnt feel showers are clean enough. Its a very basic spa with a quiet steam/ sauna rooms;- rareties in normal USA culture.It is by no means an Asian style spa with multiple steam, sauna & bath & shower styles for the price.Its a nice country get away from cramped room renting/dorm going University life.Due to my background I really try to ignore that Japanese culture seems gentrified here with the artwork and hotel robes & rubber slippers. Its like they put me down 😂 in some strange way only akin to my having had to study Classical music to try and appease their pocketbook at IC. So, when I go here, its just to get away from the downtown suffocation of the University area. This is tough to review since I used to have a higher tolerance of the East Coast attitude. A decade ago it was my spot to go nearly empty to breathe. Today, the robes and art are Akin to my seeing $6 bottled ketchup on Oahu & Japan. My tastes got accustomed to my culture.Steam room works better than the sauna.

Hosted a bachelorette party for a group of 10. The staff was so a accommodating, professional and stayed in touch. Everything was perfect and every one had an amazing time! Lisa C. gave an amazing hotstone massage and I will be asking for her again. Will be glad to host more events here as well as treat myself on occasion!

Called and requested a appointment requested a female therapist instead got a male was very hard to relax, also the therapist I did receive was extremely horrible manner. I wouldn’t recommend overall wasn’t a very relaxing experience for the price.Only reason I gave it one star was the soak was nice unfortunately will not be doing this again.Plus don’t bother upgrading to their so called sinus reliever hot towel cheaper to do it at home.Left more sore and unrelaxed then when I got there.
