Overall decent experience. However, I did not get the 60 mins hot stone massage I paid for. Appointment was at 11, and as I was waiting the receptionist booked a 12:00 appointment with the same masseuse I had. Even with me getting undressed/dressed there was still time on the clock. No big deal but customers should get what they pay for just like consumers want to get paid/tipped for the work they do.

Daniel was amazing. Very knowledgeable and calming. Very skilled at what he does. I am sorry that he is moving because i would have booked again with him. I wish the website had therapist profiles so you can know if they have any areas of expertise. Sports medicine, mental health awareness, any other specifics relevant to the health benefits of massage. I was lucky that going in blind turned out to be a great experience. I am booking again with a different therapist and hoping the experience is consistent.

My husband and I had a couples massage here a few days ago. The therapists were professional, very clean, communicated well. Did a great job. The only improvement I wouldve made is that I like a firmer hand when getting a massage. I almost like the massage to hurt a little. While I was relaxed afterwards, my muscles couldnt tell Id had a massage. Next time, Ill ask for a stronger massage.

Great service with Monal! Have been coming to her for a couple of months now and my skin is looking great. We experiment with different products on every visit and my face always looks great afterwards. She really knows what she’s doing and will give you good advise on what may work better for your complexion. Would definitely recommend her.

Ive been a member here for a while now and have seen different therapists. Ive never had a bad experience with the therapists or the staff, and they always seem to have relatively convenient openings. The reception area is very nice and quiet. And this may sound weird, but even the restrooms are peaceful (my pictures are of one of the restrooms). Its nice when a business keeps the feeling throughout the establishment). I would definitely recommend this business to others.

I was going to give it 3 stars but after I emailed this exact review to the company in hopes of a response (which I did not get) I am now bumping it down to a two. I came in a few weeks ago for my massage. I honestly felt disappointed at the end of it as I had told my masseuse at least three times if she could please up the pressure but did not feel like she took it up a notch at all. Could be that she was new, I’m unsure. Or maybe for my small frame she felt bad adding more pressure? Does not matter. I’ve gotten massages before with way heavier hands. It would’ve been nice if she could have asked whether the pressure was enough and to give her feedback. I also did not feel like my shoulders/neck got much of a massage. She was very polite and kind otherwise but did I feel relaxed at the end of it? No. So disappointed.**Edited to give one more star as the owner reached out to me**

I visited this location for the first time yesterday and this is my favorite Hand and Stone location by far. The staff was so friendly - from the time they picked up the phone to schedule my appt. to when they offered to wait after their closing time so I can wait for my Uber indoors. The service quality was great as well. Monal did an amazing facial and seems very knowledgable about skin care.

The service here overall is great, I have been coming for a little over a year now for both a massage or facial. Samantha is my go to girl for facials, my skin looks amazing thanks to her! Her recommendations for what my skin needs have all been spot on. Highly recommended!

My go to person at Hand & Stone Las Colinas is Monal. She´s very knowledgeable, caring and respectful. She recommended the Hydrafacial to improve my skin texture. This is my second treatment, and I´m very pleased with the results. I can see the plumping and disappearance of wrinkles. Very friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit! Book in advance!

I had a classic facial with LED Skin Phototherapy and Im very happy with the results. I notice a difference in the appearance of the brown spots I have and my face has a glow. I wouldn’t recommend Samantha (Sam) for a facial. It was the most underwhelming experience I’ve had at a spa—ever. She appeared to be afraid of touching my face. Her “massage” was more like a friendly pat of encouragement on my shoulders—after I specified, in the tons of intake forms, that I would like my traps massaged. I didn’t have “an after-facial glow” and my friend—who also received a facial during the same time (with Gabby and was thoroughly pleased!)—had to ask if I’d even received a facial during the 50 mins in the spa. Keep in mind, I have naturally good skin with no bumps—not hard to make my skin glow. Horrible waste of money and time!

Paid 200$ for facial and massage. Massage last for 20 mins as told it was 40 mins. And facial last for 30 mins. Not at all liked the service. I never go to this place again. I have been to other places for massage never experienced this much poor service.

Alan (hope I spelled his name correctly) was the absolute best. Professional in every way. I needed a Deep Tissue massage and when it was over, I felt like a million bucks. Honey, that massage got my entire life together! The staff was so kind and I look forward to my next visit.

It is extremely frustrating how often therapists change at this location. The Las Colinas location is convenient for me, and the front desk staff is very nice, however, it takes so long to find the right therapist, so when they leave it is disheartening to have to start all over. By the time my therapist knows me and my likes and dislikes, they leave. Unfortunately, it usually takes 2-4 really bad massages before finding the right therapist so here I am again having to start from scratch , which is very disappointing and frustrating. It takes so long to find your comfort with a massage therapist, I would love it if they could be retained for longer periods at this location, or if at least clients were made known when their therapist is leaving.I’ll give it one more try but may have to go to another salon if I strike out.

I have been a member for over 5 years. Kept my membership intact to support them during the 2020 closure, . In for my monthly facial (Gabby is the ONLY reason I will use this business) and in the midst of a severe thunderstorm asked to use the back door to exit and was refused. Really? Just walk out the back door because of pouring rain, thunder & lightening? Could care less about a longterm clients safety. Shame on you.

Joseph G. is the BEST!!! I have been going to Hand and Stone every month for the past year. Joseph G. is my massage therapist and I cannot give him enough stars for helping me with my back pain. He is truly a GREAT therapist. The facility and staff at this location are always nice, polite and respectful and the place is very clean.

I have been to this location twice and a different Hand and Stone location once. This location is definitely better! I was assigned to Sarah on both of my visits. Sarah is amazing! She uses the right amount of pressure every time. I never have to ask her to adjust the pressure. I also like that she actually spends additional time massaging my pain points. Some spas will ask you what area you want them to focus on and even though you tell them, they still dont focus on that particular area. Sarah is nice and kind hearted. She is very sweet to talk to. I recommend her to anyone who goes to this location.

He is definitely the go to therapist for either relaxation or targeted issues. He has mad skills...he pays attention to how your body moves and is able to understand where the issue is right away. I pay the extra to go twice a month because he wipes away all of the stress you carry. Highly recommend him.

I’ve been a massage therapy client at this Hand & Stone location for a couple years. For the last 6+ months, Joseph G has been my therapist. He’s well educated in his field and has been diligent about truly pinpointing the root causes of tension and discomfort I’ve experienced from being more aggressive with my fitness schedule. In addition to working on the problems, he gives me a few ideas for what I can do between appointments to try to improve by ongoing wellness. I appreciate how genuinely committed he is to my mobility improving. His formal education and training is evident.

Meh. Dont think it is worth $60 for a 50 min massage. It is more like a 40 min massage. They may be tired but if thats the case they should have a longer break between customers to give their hands/arms a breAk. Cheaper and better at times to go to other places.

H&S Irving has been a great place for me and my physical rehabilitation. They are professional, clean, punctual, friendly and accommodating. During my time as a member I was able to meet the staff and experience the expertise of several of the message therapist. They are all very knowledgeable and skilled.I would especially like to highlight Joseph G! I cant say enough about Joseph. He was excellent in is his assessment and treatment. His extended knowledge on Kinesiology was extremely helpful in my physical well-being. I was so impressed by my first session with him that he became my regular therapist moving forward. LOVE THIS PLACE! I have been going here for a little over a year for frequent massages....I had finally decided to become a member (got the monthly membership) and it is completely worth it! I recently got my first facial (ever) from here and they are so knowledgeable and helpful - it is completely worth it! The massage therapist are trained in different areas, so there are even exercise/sports therapists that are great for working muscles from sports related soreness.

Waste of time, did little to no help. Never coming back to this place.

I am very lucky to have found my massage therapist Joseph G at Hand and Stone. He is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive and has helped me with issues ranging from sports injuries, muscle mobility, muscles affected by a meniscus tear helping me release pain and tension related to my scoliosis and normal stress. His expertise is utilizing many techniques therapeutically to address concerns. He has utilized deep tissue, pressure point, some cranial sacral techniques, to name a few and all have worked to heal my soft tissue issues. As a yoga instructor and rock climber, hes been a life saver for me in the past year.

I have had many massages in my time, but Joe G. is phenomenal. I feel so much better when he literally works out my kinks. It’s almost mystical how he finds and works through all the tight, tense spots on places I wasn’t even aware were tight. He will surely help you as well.

Facial went well didn’t see any improvement on my skin but probably because my acne takes A awhile to see results but it was expensive for me not seeing any results. I would prefer A massage if you have stubborn acne. Staff is sweet and amazing you will be very comfortable they are very organized

This was my first time at Hand and Stone Massage and it was great! Theyre taking all safety precautions when it comes to covid-19 so I never felt exposed or at risk. I called to schedule my massage and facial the day before and they were able to accommodate me the very next day! The massage was great! My masseuse made sure to ask me of any areas I wanted to focus on and what pressure I wanted. Next, I had a facial with a microdermabrasion treatment as well as an LED light therapy treatment. Both of which were fabulous! I will definitely book more treatments here in the future!

Today was my 3rd or 4th time having Jacque and he is awesome! Ive had many massages in my lifetime but I can honestly say he is the best massage therapist I have had!

I’m new to the area and found this cute massage place online. I usually get a massage once a month so I was in need of finding a good place to go to. My first experience there was awesome. Tim did a amazing job and has great hands especially if you want a nice deep tissue massage. Unfortunately Tim wasn’t available the second time I came in, so I tried a new person. After this experience if I ever go back to this place it would be because of Tim, my experience this time was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I had Joseph this time and I have never felt more uncomfortable in a massage. He talked a lot and I could never relax and he never really massaged me he just dug into my knots with his elbows the whole time. He then kept asking me about what area I lived in and then kept trying to guess what apartment complex I lived it. I’m a single girl who just moved to Dallas, this was very off putting and makes me extremely uncomfortable. I left feeling very uncomfortable and very scared. I would rate this experience zero stars if I could, but because Tim and the staff were awesome the first time I gave them 2 stars.

We booked a session for my sisters birthday to go relax and unwind. She has had very unpleasent experiences with male masseurs in the past so when she went in, she requested female masseuse.She came back home disappointed saying all the massuers and the lady at the reception looked at her in a reluctant and funny way saying its no problem, they all give good massages but my sisters issue was not that. Finally after her insisting she only wanted a female, they admitted to her all they had were male Masseurs and she would have to reschedule 4 days later just for a female one.Im a practitioner of Sports massage and ive been in the field for 2 years now, and all i can say is what my sister experienced was utterly degrading, against the professional guidelines we are taught, and put her in a very uncomfortable situation. If they could have just said they had no female massueses and sent my sis on her way, but instead choose to do all of that.This place will never get my or any of my families business again.Totally unprofessional.

Ive been to this location several times before, and have always had great experiences. Today, however, ruined all of that for me. I came in to my appointment and the lady at the front desk was very kind, as usual. When I went in for my massage, I quickly noticed my message therapist seemed a bit irritated. When spoken to, her tone was rude and insincere. My massage experience left me feeling very uncomfortable but I wont go into detail. Ive never complained or left any bad reviews before, but my experience left me in shock. I left feeling uncomfortable and judged. I have one paid appointment left and wish I could receive a refund because I never want to go back to this place again. Of course, I still left a generous tip in order to be courteous. I dont know, maybe she was just having a bad day and took it out on me, but thats not okay.

I had a massage at this location. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I had three people offer me water while I was filling out my paperwork. Tyler was the massage therapist and he had no problem converting to my level of comfort during the massage. I was treated like a queen. I had the one hour massage and the one hour facial and both services were great. Making the appointment was easy. The receptionist was friendly on the phone and when I arrived. The masseuse was very good as well as the Lita, who gave the facial. The overall ambience was calming. I also thought the prices were comparable with other like places and more reasonable to higher end day spas. I will definitely go back there and highly recommend it.

So how do we cancel subscriptions if youre still withdrawing monthly deductions, and simultaneously not answering phone calls since youre closed..?. Even though your door says you are supposed to open back up today and no one is here and you couldnt even send out a text message that the appointments been cancelled. Not really sure how liquor stores are essential businesses and pain relief is not but thats not in your hands I suppose.

Facials from Taylor are the best!! I’ve been a member here for almost two years now and still look forward to every appointment. Taylor always knows how to personalize my treatments based on my skincare needs & busy schedule (peels vs microdermabrasion vs hydrofacial etc). The Clarity line of products also really help with my acne. Staff here has always been very professional, friendly, and helpful.Recently, the newer hydro facial options have helped bring so much life back to my skin - would love to see more advanced facial treatment options made available by Hand & Stone in the future.

These guys are amazing!! Ive done massages at other places but nothing compares to hand and stone. Their facials are even better and Im a guy who doesnt do this type of stuff unless my wife wants to go. Now Im the one pushing her for us to go lol.

Very ComfortableI enjoyed my experience at Hands and Stone. The receptionists , as always, were very polite and helpful. My massage was relaxing and therapeutic because I was suffering slightly from lower back pain, and Lonnie relieved that completely.

The atmosphere was great and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. The therapist working with me was running behind and by the time my massage started it was 15 min after the original start time. By the time the massage started it was almost 20 min after start time. And yet the massage ended on time turning my 1 hour massage into 40 min. I had added on the peppermint scalp massage which should have added an additional 10 min (according to the front desk staff), so really a 70 min massage was complete in only 40 min, which was disappointing.

Hi, I have been here once and I got deep-tissue massage. The lady who did mine was good but I am giving only 4 stars because I felt that she was rushing too much. May be because I had added other treatments (head and foot massage) too but the front desk or even the lady who was doing my massage didnt tell me that it will be squeezed in an hour. So, felt was a rush for me but still enjoyed it.

It was one of those days, when you just want to drop dead from the stress of it all.... called the nearest place that I thought might be open late for a massage. I got go blessed with Hand and Stone being open until 10 pm. They had an appointment available for me and she was AMAZING. The price was incredible for my first time. I am hooked.

My review is not just based on their COVID policies. It is based on who I was treated by the owner. After that incident we communicated via emails several times. These are his exact words from the email: I was speaking too loudly and speaking at you instead of having a conversation with you.First of all, CDC doesnt consider healthcare professionals exposed if you are in a controlled environment and covered head to toe with proper PPE. Owner / Corporate have come up with their own definition of exposure based on the use of face-mask (which is not full / proper PPE).Secondly, I was told my Hand and Stone corporate that they are not offering service to any healthcare professional (physicians, nurses, techs etc.) because based on their definition they are all exposed. Their rationale is that doctors and nurses get most of the COVID infections. There is no data to support that and it is a baseless claim. Most COVID infections occur in the community. If anything, healthcare workers are screened on a daily basis and use more protection than people out in the community.I consider this discrimination against healthcare workers. Just coming up with arbitrary definitions of medical terminology by non-medical entities such as Hand and Stone does not justify their actions and policies.

I absolutely love this place. Front desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. I have seen several of the therapists including Olga, Eddie, and Tim...all are amazing. I have also had facials that are wonderful and relaxing. The building is always clean and well maintained as well. Can’t wait for my next visit!!
