I have found my forever dental office!!!! Ill be honest... I scheduled my husbands appointment first just for him to check it out and he was amazed. I then quickly scheduled my appointment online which was very simple. Let me tell you; from the greeting at the door to the end of the procedure with Dr Ellis and her staff was an excellent experience! They go above and beyond to make your dental experience calm, compassionate and caring. I really enjoyed talking about current events and just connecting on a personal level. I have been to many dentists throughout the years and none have compared to my experience at Love Your Smile Dentistry. I am actually looking forward to coming in for my cleaning! Im new to the DFW and was worried about finding a new dentist since I had been with my previous dentist for years. As soon as I walked into Love Your Smile Dentistry all my worries were eased. The office was extremely clean and smelled welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They treat everyone like family. Dr Ellis is very personable and professional she explains everything in complete detail and doesnt mind answering questions. Im proud of the choice that I made for my new dentist.

Dr. Ellis is great!! She showed me pictures of my teeth and the work that I needed and why. My kids love her and she is very gentle and good and understanding of nervous patients. Willing to stop for breaks as needed. I highly recommend them.

My bridge was placed on top of a tooth with visible decay and a huge hole. I went back 3 time and she just kept reapplying the bridge.I had to finally go to another dentist for help.Upon first visit I had to get a route canal on the tooth.It has been almost 2 years and I am still dealing with the aftermath of the dental work she did because I had to wait for my dental coverage to reset for the year since I reached my max. Now waiting for 2022 so they can redo the filling that she did also.There was no apology or responsibility taken during this time, but luckily my dental provider did the investigation and ruled in my favor.

Very friendly and kind. I am treated as if I was one of their family members. I was given the opportunity to ask questions and have each treatment option explained so I could choose. That has never happened for me at a dentist. I am comfortable there and highly recommend for anyone with fears of dentists or bad experiences.

I can not say enough kind words about Dr. Ellis and her whole staff! From the initial call to set up the appointment to walking out the door was top notch service. Walking in I was a few minutes late because Im not from the area and of course with technology somehow still managed to get lost, but that was no problem. They took me right on back and was able to get started. The young lady from the front desk signed me in and handed me the remote and said choose whatever youd like to watch or listen to. The assistant who took my X-rays was gentle and gave me a napkin to place all my jewelry on. Afterwards she started the cleaning and was thorough and gentle. Dr. Ellis came in and was extremely kind and professional. She asked me questions to get to know me as a new patient and even wished me a happy belated birthday! Not being from here that made me feel comfortable on top of the fact that during discussing my treatment plan she provided a service complimentary just to give me a peace of mind! If you want a Dentist and staff who cares, doesnt rush and listens to you, Love Your Smile is the perfect place! Thank you Ladies for all your kindness!

I was trying to come to this dentist office as a new patient. Made my appointment online and filled out all of the paperwork that they email you, I read about the no show fees and cancellation policy. I confirmed the appointment via text and was excited to find a dentist with Saturday appointments due to my work schedule. However, when I was contact by the office personnel to confirm my appointment, they then requested my credit/debit card information to “hold” my appointment because it was a Saturday visit and they don’t take walk ins on Saturday. Never in my life have I had to do that for any health care service provider and I won’t start now. I questioned and just cancelled my appointment. The person I spoke was more so like bye. Seemed very unorthodox.

Dr. Ellis is so sweet and down to earth! Hands down the best dentist I’ve ever been to! She delivers quality care and also very efficient! I had 3 visits in the last month trying to utilize all my benefits they were flexible with scheduling! Not to mention her staff are so sweet and professional! Horrible experience. Went in for fillings. Walked out with 3 different textures in my mouth, can’t even floss between the fillings that were put in due to poor workmanship, she put a filling on top of a whole cavity. I had to ask her to file it down numerous times because my bite was off. She would file off just a little bit because she knew she put a bunch of filling in there thinking that was going to cover the problem. Best analogy I can think of is : She essentially placed a bandaid on a wound that required stitches. I can’t even chew on my right side due to the filling shifting and it started shifting immediately after leaving the office. I have to get a crown and root canal now due to the poor workmanship and incompetence. Also they billed for and used up all my dental benefits AFTER I asked for my patient documents be sent to a different dentist yet they ensured me and went over the billing with me very throughly before they started the work and told me I would have additional benefits left because they were supposed to do additional work on the other side. Then they had the nerve to call me to confirm my appointment for the additional work. They removed all my access in the patient portal as well. If you weren’t able to do the job, all you had to do was say that. Now I have to pay out of pocket to get my feelings done correctly. This dentist is only able to handle basic cleanings. I should’ve known not to go here when I saw not a single pic of any fillings she’s ever done. 2 of the fillings were on my front teeth and I don’t even smile now. So love your smile dentistry is a joke. I absolutely hate my smile now thanks to Dr Ellis! She will never get near my mouth again. What a sham.BEWARE! You have been warned!Update: now they’re saying I was never a patient instead of asking for my name or anything. What a sham. I tried to support a black female dentist and it is my biggest regret to this day. I hope this office gets shut down. Dr Ellis, you SUCK!

Never would I ever have imagined finding a dentist that felt like I was hanging out with my friends more than getting my teeth cleaned! I chose this practice as they were close to my house and part of my insurance plan. Online scheduling was a breeze and having the opportunity to fill out paperwork online was also excellent. I had admittedly not been to see a Dentist in quite sometime, but everyone made me feel comfortable and were glad I was there. Dr. Ellis and the staff of Love Your Smile Dentistry are all amazing! I appreciate the staff for effectively implementing COVID protocols to protect me and others who are visiting the office. During a time of uncertainty, the staff assured any fears by ensuring masks were worn by all staff and patrons, social distancing was enforced, and a questionnaire presented before my visit. I am one who is appreciative of any effort to save time, and I definitely appreciate Love Your Smile dentistry for sending electronic forms to complete prior to my appointment instead of spending time completing them in the office. Lastly and most importantly, I definitely love when the office manager, Victoria, does reminder calls and pronounces my child’s name correctly-without added syllables and/or letters. It is a simple gesture that does not take a lot of effort, but I genuinely appreciate her simply reading what is listed on the registration paperwork. Dr. Ellis and her staff make it a point to ensure visiting the dentist is a simple, pleasurable, and anxiety-free visit. Dr Ellis and this practice are so great!!! They are affordable and not pushy about anything. They also let you choose whatever you want to watch during your appt, which is nice. What I love most is that youre given the pricing up front before the appt. There is NO surprise sticker price here -- everything is upfront. Love that it is woman and black owned as well!!So glad I found this dentist!!

Dr. Ellis and her team are phenomenal. I was unhappy with Monarch Dental felt I was being over charged for everything so I decided to change to Love your smile. Monarch Dental made it impossible for me to get my dental records sent to Dr. Ellis and her team and I would of had to pay for X-Rays so I decided to cancel my appointment. Dr. Ellis contacted me and knew the trouble I was going through and waived the X-Ray fee I had. When I tell you that’s great customer service, I’m so thankful and I knew then this would be a my dentist family. My appointment was today everything was clean and the team was so nice they checked my temperature and was very detailed with everything. They are great at what they do. I will be recommending everyone to them.

I gave it a few days to see if I was truly bothered by this experience and it looks like I am. Id be wary of this practice. I am someone who loves going to the dentist, so after relocating back to Dallas, I looked up a new one as soon as I could. The reviews looked great so I gave this office a shot. The facility itself looks great and clean, but it was everything else that didnt feel right.I didnt have a great experience with the tech as she seemed new and not sure of herself. I even offered to floss my own teeth at the end because it was so awkward but she just didnt respond.I didnt realize that the practice doesnt have a dental hygienist to do cleanings/examine and I didnt spend much time with Dr. Ellis herself and was given a polish and on my way. I felt jipped of a cleaning and surprised by my treatment plan. I ended up getting a second opinion and the new dentist was surprised at the findings as well. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe Im not a fit for this practice since a lot of people have great things to say, but I had to share my experience. Best wishes.

First impressions are everything and Dr. Ellis and her staff made a great first impression. The front desk staff (Jade) was very warm and welcoming when she called to confirm my appointment. That continued when I was greeted with a smile when I entered the office. The office is very modern and they seem to have all of the latest gadgets. Dr. Ellis was awesome. The perfect balance of professional and down to earth. She even wished me a happy belated birthday. I am excited to begin my treatment plan with this office and hopefully I can truly begin to “love my smile”.

After going to a nearby competitor and being sorely disappointed I managed to get to the right dentist. I can see why Dr. Ellis and the Gang get outstanding 5 star reviews.When I entered I found a clean welcoming lobby. Dr. Ellis greeted me personally. While they have a lengthy first time registration, it was made much easier with a tablet application with multiple choice answers. The one question I had regarding this process was answered quickly.I was taken in, got X-rays and pictures taken. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.Dr. Ellis then cleaned my teeth quickly and explained to me why I DIDNT need a deep cleaning (This was recommended elsewhere for 4x the price) and cleaned my teeth. The good Doctor Ellis also explained the different codes she would use and why. She had also checked with my insurance and verified the procedure coverage before starting (Unlike other Dentists office).Dr. Ellis and gang got me in and out with an inpatient exam, X-rays, pictures, detailed explanations, checked my insurance, cleaned my teeth with a fun matter of fact well informed attitude... all in an hour.I rather enjoyed my visit to the Dentist. Never thought Id say that.Thank you all!

Had my first visit today and it exceeded my expectations. The entire staff was friendly and professional. The ambiance in the office itself was welcoming. Dr Ellis took her time identifying my concerns as well as providing me with different treatment options. She has a down to earth demeanor and is very easy to talk to. This office is fantastic! The staff is friendly when you arrive. They were prompt in getting me in for my appt and handling paperwork (done electronically) and vitals for covid of course. The staff and Doc are knowledgable about their practice and awesome to work with, the atmosphere is super relaxed and they are all upbeat and engaging. My cleaning was quick and the staff who serviced me are diligent and open to suggestions about my needs. i also like the Doc’s promise of a judgment free zone, which made me feel comfortable speaking about my dental history. Doc Ellis is a great dentist and she complimented me on my oral hygiene behavior (seeing as how i havent been to the dentist in over a year) i truly appreciated that she noticed how well i keep my teeth. I have dealt with great dentists and she is in the club of great ones, thank you for keeping me strait Doc Ellis!

I was highly interested in becoming a new patient when I read so many positive reviews and saw she had weekend appointments available. I submitted everything online and got the process rolling. My appointment was on a Saturday morning and that was all she wrote! Dr. Ellis and her staff are very friendly, personable, and attentive to your needs. I have NEVER had to sit in the waiting area since I have been coming to her. I ran across a gem and Im thankful to be apart of the Love Your Smile Dentistry family. It was really clean, informative of my dental care/ preventative care tips, and it smells so good. The staff was very friendly and professional but most importantly down to earth. More than satisfied!! I had been looking for a black (owned) destist(ry) for weeks and the ladies (and gentleman) at Love Your Smile Dentistry are awesome! Bright and early I was greeted warmly despite my late arrival (the receptionist called once I was a few minutes late to see if I needed to reschedule. I told her that I misjudged the commute time from Ft. Worth but that I was a few minutes away, she readjusted my appt time with no fuss). I came in for my (semi) annual check up and cleaning, and a chipped filling that needed attention and Im so glad that I came to LYSD. Coming from a person who knows how to really clean, the place is spotless and decorated beautifully, there wasnt a bunch of paperwork to fill out and there wasnt a long wait to be called back either. Both the receptionist and the dental assistant provided good and casual conversation that wasnt forced or scripted all while remaining professional. Snacks, refreshments, and mints were available for the taking which I appreciate because Im always hungry and I love the Lifesaver mints ^_^. The service was amazing because of the attention paid to not only my concerns but Dr.Ellis concerns for my dental health as well, the visuals of my own teeth up on the mounted TV accompanied with her easy-to-understand lesson on what I needed and/or needed to focus on, and the dental work plan going forward set up, printed out and ready for me once my appt was done. The mounted TV had live TV options as well as streaming services available for me to watch while I was being serviced. Dr. Ellis is very polite and genuine in her craft by going above and beyond for her patients (she used the TV to Google search for images of the toothpaste and floss she recommended I get because I (casually) said that I was a visual person #points ^_^). Overall amazing with outstanding attention and service from beginning to the very end and I look forward to making the drive from Ft.Worth again soon and to wherever she may go!
