I should have read more of the one star reviews.Dr. Kaufman is a likeable doctor with what I am sure is many years of experience. The office was clean and everyone was friendly. The office visit was good and thankfully the prescriptions were inexpensive. Dr. Kaufman recommended an OTC product which was better than another patient listed here.The reason I gave 2 stars is because of the high cost involved that was not communicated to me. Dr. Kaufman recommended we do a nasal endoscopy which lasted 20-30 seconds however I was charged $580 for this service. On a follow up visit I received a second endoscopy that ended up being another $580. Guess the first cost couldnt cover another 30 seconds.When I called about the bill, the lady who assisted me was friendly and tried to answer my questions, but said that I wasnt told about the charges because they are not sure what insurance will cover. Huge red flag to me. Basically they will charge for anything and see what sticks? Shouldnt I know about a charge BEFORE I give consent?I will not be returning to this office and will be asking what I will be charged for in the future from other offices; looks like the co-pay is not always the end of the bills...

I came in apprehensive about the results of my ct-scan, but Dr. Kaufman went through every detail with me, explained my options and answered all my questions with no pressure.

I was in so much pain with a swollen tonsil and inflammation in my throat and mouth. I had already seen two doctors who told me I had caught a virus or bacterial infection. After a week, I reached out to Dr. Kaufman since my symptoms were getting worse and I was getting weaker and the pain was running me down. Dr. Kaufman was so accommodating and saw me right away. Within a few minutes of talking to me and looking at my throat he diagnosed me and told me I had acid reflux which had caused all the damage. Then he drained my tonsil to remove the abscess that was causing the pain. He told me to get in touch with him if I wasnt getting better. He checked on me daily and helped me recover. If it wasnt for Dr. Kaufmans care I would have suffered so much more pain and ended up in the ER. When you get to Dr. Kaufman, you can be sure you are in good hands and he will take care of you. Best Dr. experience ever!!

Doctor provides fake report, disgusting, talked to Doctor to rectify the report but no response. I am in process of filing a complaint against Dr. Kaufman.

Its not often you visit a Doctor and experience a friendly helpful staff, very little wait time being shown into the exam room and the Doctors quick arrival. Dr. Kaufman has an excellent exam room manner and an easy communicator. Knows his stuff!

Dr. Avrum Kaufman was very nice to me and my child. He made my 3-year-old feel safe and he even had fun when he was there.

Dr Kaufman was great, understanding, and caring. Would recommend his practice, nice and clean. The exam room has air purifiers, and its obvious this practice cares about healthy air.

The office staff is super friendly and nice. I got in on time and in no time Dr. Kaufman saw me and was able to tell me what is wrong.

IN AND OUT SATISFACTIONI received cordial and professional welcome. and was seen promptly.The doctor was also very thorough but did not waste any time in givingme an examination and providing full details re: the outcome. This was a pleasant departure from most other physicals where I wait and wait (in the waiting room). I was completely satisfied.

This is a horrible doctor! Completely disrespectful. I have been in constant pain for 2 weeks with facial swelling and no answers... he got rude with me and said what do you expect me to fix you in the first visit deplorable! DO NOT GO HERE! Waste of my time! Barely examined me.

I have an ongoing problem and am looking for a doctor to replace my previous ENT, who retired. I have seen Dr. Kaufman only once, but I was favorably impressed. He asked good questions and really listened to my answers, as well as to my description of my symptoms. His office has a calm atmosphere, and his staff is very nice and professional. I will be seeing him again.

I had thyroid surgery in 2015 with Dr. Kaufman. I could not have had a better experience. I was very scared since I had a strong possibility of having cancer. Dr. Kaufman explained the entire procedure and what will happen if it is cancerous and not. I felt I was going into this with all my questions answered. Luckily I did not have cancer. The scar on my neck is almost invisible. No one can see if unless I really point it out. He did a great job taking care of me.

Thank you Dr. Kaufman and his whole staff for a great experience! Their level of expertise and professionalism is 5 stars for sure. My son had a seemingly small procedure done by Dr Kaufman and he treated my son with respect. My sons 9. Great job!

Very disappointed in my visit with Dr Kaufman. I was a first time patient so needless to say, I had 10-15 minutes of paperwork and insurance forms to fill out. Once finished the receptionist quickly ran my credit card; I was charged the more expensive Specialist Co-Pay Office visit fee. I was escorted to my examination room where the Dr saw me for maybe 90 seconds. He wrote me a Prescription for a Nasal Spray and told me to see him again in a week. When I got to the Pharmacy the Pharmacist told me this Nasal Spray cost $250; I told her I wanted the Generic because my Insurance covers Generic Drugs - she told me this was the Generic. When the Pharmacist told me how expensive the Drug was I immediately cancelled the Prescription, she recommended a $15 over the counter alternative. When I got home, I called the doctors Office to complain. After telling the receptionist about my displeasure, she said Dr Kaufman would phone in another prescription for me - this time he phoned in the same (over the counter) nasal spray that the pharmacist had already recommended. Maybe I should have gone to the Pharmacist instead of a Specialist - I would have saved myself lots of time and money. Needless to say I will not be scheduling a follow up visit

Excellent doctor. I saw him to get a second opinion on my my sudden hearing loss last year. He and his staff were very responsive in making an appointment. He spent his time to go through all my options carefully.

I just called to make an appointment, the girl who I spoke to (who was from Ladera Ranch location) sounded extremely disrespectful and discourteous. If this is what happened just trying to make an appointment, I wonder what it would be like to visit the office. This rating is not based on the doctor as I havent seen him yet.The first time I called, the scheduling girl put me on hold, later the call ended with only the date and no time of appointment. So I called back and asked for the appointment time, she replied very impolitely saying she did tell me the time- its at 4:15. Just wanting to confirm, I repeated 4:15 during the evening right? Then she says, in a very insulting/mocking tone yes in the evening, obviously, we dont schedule for 4 in the morning, I then hear some giggles of her and someone at the back, probably a colleague.I was calm until this happened but after this I was super frustrated and told her she was rude and she cant talk like that. I asked for a supervisor, she said she is not managed by anyone and rudely asked if Id like to keep my appointment and said if you keep the appointment, I will be the who will be checking you in and you will have to see me, as if she was threatening me.Is this the way a health care place should be speaking to their patient? I told her I was sick enough and she still spoke to me that way. I do not expect this kind of uncivil behavior form a doctors office. Extremely displeased with this institution and management. I would like to have a supervisor go through the call and take an action. I absolutely will refrain from visiting this place.

I very much appreciated that I was able to get in the next day to see Dr as I was having a major problem with breathing due to congestion. The only thing I felt short on was time to talk to the Dr in length about was my feeling out of control to deal with the problem.

Dr. Kaufman is a fantastic ENT! He did my sinus surgery in 2011 and my sinus have been really good since! He has a great bedside manner and is a very skilled surgeon! I would highly recommend Dr. Kaufman to all of my friends and family!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Charged $880 for a 20 minute office visit...Charged for things an ENT SHOULD DO! Everything was extra extra and more extra-what the heck did the office visit contain? NOTHING! AND Just an office visit is $300!! hIGHWAY ROBBERY..Just for a consultaion....These people should be ashamed...
