Dr. Haidar, though I only met with her once, was wonderful.However, I was really disappointed in my interactions with Dr. Trask. Last summer, I went in for a large lump on my neck that had been getting bigger. He tried to convince me it was likely nothing (despite the growth) but if I “really wanted to”, he would order an ultrasound. I obviously got the ultrasound, and it turned out to be a very large schwannoma. After getting a biopsy done, I was told to call after 5 business days if I had not received the results.I called after 5 days, and the nurse told me the doctor did have my results, and would call later that day. I didn’t receive a call and it was several days later, after reaching out via phone and the MyChart app a few more times, that I finally received a call. He made a snarky comment about how he knew I had been trying to reach him, which was incredibly dismissive considering I had a mass in my neck and it could have been cancer. He said he was waiting to call until he received my CT results. Which again - if you know a patient is trying to reach out and you have important results for them, I don’t think it’s appropriate to make them wait until you get other results back.His bedside manner was dismissive, disinterested, and I felt he didn’t care at all about my situation. I ended up going to UCLA Neurosurgery, who were wonderful.

Wonderful, super friendly staff. Dr Crumley and his assistants are the consummate professionals. Wish they treated more than just head and neck, because Id go to them for everything! Everyone there truly is interested in the individual patient.

Dr Bhandarkar was pleasant and thorough. His office staff was courteous and professional.

State of the art office and the best service possible. UCI Health - Head & Neck Department is amazing and I highly recommend him.

The staff are very helpful and Dr.Djalilian is superb in responding to my concerns.
